“Allison was great with our shy Lola! She stayed with her a few nights. We got many updates, and photos. At her meet and greets Lola was very timid, as she is with everyone. By the second day, Allison had her on a leash for walking. That was a pretty big deal! The communication was great! We got stuck in the airport, and it was easy to contact Allison to come to our rescue! Well done! Thank you! Jody and Todd”

“Janet was an amazing pet sitter! She stayed at our home with our two Yorkie puppies for two weeks, including overnight, and took such wonderful care of them. It was clear they loved her, and I could tell they were happy, comfortable, and well cared for while I was away. She gave them so much attention, played with them, and truly treated them like her own. Janet was incredibly trustworthy, reliable, and flexible, making the entire experience stress-free. One of my favorite parts was that she sent lots of photos and videos throughout my trip, which gave me so much peace of mind and allowed me to see how much fun my puppies were having. I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter, and I would absolutely book Janet again. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who is caring, dependable, and genuinely loves animals!”

“Raquel did a week long overnight with my pooch Tuukka. I've never been more comfortable with anybody else and I know Tuukka was give an exceptional care. I think he bonded with her... Her care for Tuukka, her thoughtfulness, her clear and prompt communication and the condition she kept the house were all exceptional. Thank you!”

“Kayla's was great - total animal lover! She sent photos of my boys and I could tell they were very happy in her care. Her communication was great - letting me know when she walked them, when she was going to be away, and reaching out with any questions. She took care of my home and even offered to water my plants if needed. She was wonderful - great experience!”

“Savanna is a rock star ! She came through last minute and I am so grateful ! She also was very patient with Gatsby ans My other fur child Colby ! Thank you so much I will book again and with Savannah!!”

“Thank you Rachel for taking care of Dakota and our home while we were away in Mexico. I think this is our 4th or 5th trip with you taking care of everything for us. We always feel really relaxed and comfortable knowing all is in good hands. Thank you for all you do! ❤️”

“Jaime is an excellent house sitter and dog caregiver. Cooper loved him. He was very thoughtful in taking care of the house and even pitched in on a chore or two that was above and beyond. Checked in as requested. Highly recommend.”

“We are so thankful to Blayne! After our rover cancelled on us two days before our trip outside the country we were freaking out, but she was quick to answer our messages and came to meet the doggies right away. She was also very patient with me and my paranoid requests (bad sitter experiences before) and was so great at communicating with us and sending us updates. We were able to see the doggies warming up to her very quick from her photos, and that is a testament to the great care and love she provided them. Will definitely book again, she was amazing!”

About: I have had pets my whole life, dogs and cats. I have had big dogs and small dogs and have watched my neighbors dogs and families dogs and cats as well. I work from 8-3:30 so anytime after 3:30 is good with me, or house sitting till 7 am. I am also free on weekends completely I have a fenced in yard but all my services will be done at my clients homes so the animals are more comfortable and feel safer. I will try to keep them in as much of a normal routine as possible.

About: I’ve taken care of pets my entire life (dogs, cats, horses, cows etc.). Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to check in, feed, walk, and spend quality time with their pets. I’m patient, responsible, and attentive, and I make sure each pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for. I grew up with blue heelers, so I’m very comfortable with high-energy dogs and understand the importance of exercise and engagement. I also have a senior dog (2012) and two French bulldogs, so I’m used to being attentive to different needs, energy levels, and routines. I have experience with both active and more relaxed or older pets, and I always try to match their pace and personality. I’ll treat your pet like my own and make sure you feel confident and at ease while you’re away. (I do not have experience with exotic pets like birds, fish, reptiles, or small mammals like guinea pigs but am willing to learn) Pet care fits easily into my daily routine. I have a consistent schedule and am able to plan my day around visits, walks, and check-ins. I already care for my own dogs daily, so feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and attention are a regular part of my routine. I’m reliable with timing and understand how important consistency is for pets. I’m a teacher about to begin summer break and will have an flexible schedule with early morning, afternoon and evening availability. I always prioritize safety, consistency, and making pets feel comfortable in their environment. In a client’s home, I stick closely to their pet’s normal routine—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions—so things feel familiar and low-stress. I pay close attention to behavior, energy levels, and any changes to make sure pets are doing well. I’m very mindful about safety during walks and visits, including secure leashing, monitoring surroundings, and keeping a clean, calm environment. I also respect your home and make sure everything is left exactly how I found it. With my own dogs, I’m used to managing different needs and personalities, including a senior dog and two French bulldogs, so I understand how important supervision, patience, and attentiveness are. My goal is always to make both you and your pet feel safe, comfortable, and confident while you’re away.
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the deep respect, love, and attention I give every animal in my care. I truly believe animals show us how to love, live in the moment, and connect with the world around us. Because of that, I see caring for pets as more than a job — it’s a responsibility I take seriously and a relationship I genuinely value. My dedication to their care, comfort, and protection makes me a strong advocate for their joy and safety. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality, routine, and emotional needs so they feel secure, understood, and loved while their owners are away. I have experience caring for pets of all ages and temperaments, including energetic young pets who need patience, consistency, and exercise, as well as senior pets who benefit from gentleness, extra monitoring, slower walks, medication support, and calm companionship. Whether a pet wants to play, cuddle, explore, or simply rest quietly nearby, I adapt to what makes them happiest and most comfortable. My goal is always to create a peaceful, loving environment where pets are treated like family and owners feel complete peace of mind. Every day starts with pets first. The morning begins with fresh water, a snack if needed, and then straight outside to the fenced backyard for a potty break. For dogs, the next part of the routine is one of my favorites — a 3–4 mile walk to help them get exercise, stimulation, and a happy start to their day. After the walk, we settle in for breakfast if that’s part of their routine. Because I’m home throughout the day, pets are never left without attention for long. While I’m cleaning, kitchen prepping, or working around the house, I take frequent breaks for cuddles, playtime, and backyard visits. Whether it’s dogs or cats, I make sure every pet gets regular affection, attention, and companionship throughout the day. I truly enjoy creating a calm, loving environment where pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for like family. I care with attention, intention and detail. I check in often and spend time just sitting with and talking to. I give So much LOVE.

Inside, I make sure they atleast have a crate our are in a clean area. I trust all my animals as I would a sibling such as animals are family members as much as pets.
About: I've had the pleasure of caring for some sweet amazing pets over the years. Having 2 dogs myself : a Chihuahua and a husky: I'm able to care for various breeds and sizes. My experience includes feeding, walking, providing companionship to animals in their own homes. I've also had the opportunity to work with different breeds and temperaments, allowing me to adapt my caregiving techniques to each individual pet's needs. I take pride in creating a safe and loving environment for my clients' furry friends, ensuring they feel comfortable and well-cared for in their absence. Feeding, walking, and cuddling are all part of my daily routine, and my dogs would probably tell you I’m their personal superhero. I bring that dedication and joy to every pet I care for, making sure they feel safe, loved, and totally spoiled while you’re away. When caring for pets in someone else's home, I prioritize their comfort and security. I follow their specific routines, ensuring consistent feeding times, administering medications as prescribed, and providing regular exercise. I treat their home with respect, cleaning up after the pets and maintaining a tidy environment. I also keep a detailed record of their behavior, any special needs, and any incidents that may occur. By providing attentive and responsible care, I aim to alleviate any worries the pet owners may have while they're away.

About: I grew up on a farm just outside of hutch, so we had a large variety of animals, including but not limited to cats, dogs, and even a tortise at one point! I’d love to help meet all your needs and your animals needs in anyway possible! I recently moved to new mexico, but i am at home all day everyday! I am currently a travel nurse, but I am home a lot with my schedule, so my 5 cats and 1 dog, all are fully vaccinated get a lot of one on one time. But I love taking care of animals so that’s why I’m doing this. It fits really well into my ever changing routine. I currently live in a 56 foot Sanibel camper, but it is a pet friendly camper. My 5 cats Jezabell, Bogey, Penner, Don Julio, and Eve are very friendly and easy to get along with. They have free range food, as i tried to limit it and it just wasn’t working for them so Im trying this and it seems to work very well for them. They also have whatever they could ever want in water and toys, and I clean their litter boxes at least once a day to make them happier :) Ripley goes on walks morning and night, and is out of her kennel all day with me most days. But she is crate trained and very respectful but also playful!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Radium Springs walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Radium Springs maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Radium Springs choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
