About: Big dog lover who works from home so I'm able to spend tons of time with my dogs and yours. I used to be a dog sitter for 2 years on Doggy Vacay (Rover took over that platform) when I lived in California and absolutely loved it! My reviews on that platform used to speak for themselves but until I get more on here, you'll just have to take my word that I am a great with dogs! I am easy-going, flexible, attentive and have a great space for dogs to run and play or be lazy, whatever floats their boat. I'm always down for a walk and my job as a remote Graphic Designer allows me to take frequent puppy breaks and be with the pups all the time. I have 2 dogs myself, and they love new friends. I have two big dogs who are all friendly and great with most dogs, including small dogs as they used to have a small sister before she passed (would be best to test them out first of course to ensure they get along). I also donate and volunteer often to a dog rescue and rehabilitation center abroad (SHS Harbin Animal Rescue) so you know your dog will be in the hands of a true dog lover. Hope I get to meet your fur child soon! =] I work remote from home so dog care is a daily thing with 2 pups of my own. Mine get fed twice a day and usually go for a walk if it’s nice out. If not they get all the yard time they want. I will be able to give constant company to your companion but just ask that it’s in my home so that It’s not much of a change in routine for me or my pups. I have a fully fenced in backyard and plenty of rooms in the house for your pup to relax or play in. I work remote but take frequent breaks to give the pups food, water and attention as needed. If for whatever reason, your pup seems to be anxious or get sick of my dogs, I have plenty of areas in the house to keep them separated and can have your pup in my office with me for some one on one love.

“Maria went out of her way to meet me at a park to watch my dog while I was playing music and thus could not watch my dog during that time. She stayed for over an hour and was a wonderful sitter and wonderful and kind to my dog and even videoed for me! I would hire her again and again!”

“Thank you so much Kristin & Matthew for watching my girl today! She felt very safe & comfortable in your home. I’m so glad we found you & she’s so happy with her new pup friends! Your two are so sweet!!? Amphi says thank you for looking after me & for the cheese!”

“This was my first experience with Rover and I have nothing but fantastic things to say about Christine! The genuine care and attention she had for my puppy put me at ease instantly. She sent photos and videos and updates and was always quickly responsive. I would absolutely recommend Christine!”

“Jessica was great with our beagle Paco. We had to cancel the original date we planned to leave him and she was very understanding. When we reached out again she was very quick to respond. I would leave Paco with Jessica again he was very happy when I picked him up. I’m very attached to Paco so it was amazing receiving pictures and videos of him knowing he was in great hands. Will definitely be leaving Paco again in the future”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my lifelong experience with dogs, especially Labradors. Since the age of three, I've cared for these wonderful companions and currently help look after my 13-year-old Lab with arthritis. My experience includes fostering and training puppies, and I successfully rehabilitated a 2-year-old foster dog who was too afraid to walk when he came to me - I trained him, loved him and he was eventually adopted into a loving family. I have also worked at a doggy daycare, which has given me additional hands-on experience with various breeds and temperaments. As a lawyer, I bring trustworthiness, reliability, and accountability to my pet-sitting services. Additionally, having grown up in NYC and owning a house on Long Island, I can provide a comfortable and safe environment for your pets, whether they need care in the city or a relaxing getaway on Long Island. I work from home and am currently living at my house in the Hamptons. Can care for pets all day/night and live a very quiet life! I have an apartment in the city with plenty of room - dogs do not have to be crated. I also have a house in Long Island that I can bring the pets to.

About: Hello! I'm Ashley. I am a dog trainer living in Eastport and am available for drop ins, shorter walks, and daycare, but my real specialty is long walks (1+ hours)! Long dog walks offer incredible benefits for dogs - providing physical exercise that helps maintain a healthy weight, improving cardiovascular health, and preventing destructive behaviors caused by pent-up energy. Beyond the physical, it also engages their minds through new sights, smells, and sounds, keeping them mentally stimulated. I know from my own experience of working long hours (even from home) that it's just not always feasible to give your dog the kind of stimulation they really crave - and that's what I'm here for! Beyond being a dog mom to my own 9 year havapoo, I am a trainer, volunteer at a local shelter and work at a doggy daycare as well. I'm new to Rover after a very short stint when I was living in NYC, but eager to get started and expand my network of pets :). Let's chat more about your needs and how I can help your pup! Cheers, Ashley I work part time as a trainer / at a doggy daycare, so I have pretty flexible availability during the day Monday - Thursday as I primarily work evenings. Dogs will always be on leash for walks, and never out of my sight. We have a fenced yard for dogs coming over for day care.

“My separation anxious pandemic pup had a great time with Melissa and her family. He was excited to go back the next day too! She was so flexible with scheduling. Her dog was so friendly and well socialized and welcomed mine into his pack with ease.”

About: I've always had a dog in my house. My dog Shayna passed away recently and was 18 years old. I miss her everyday, and miss taking care of a dog. I am currently not working so I will be available to hang out with your pup all day! I love to take long walks and would love to have a pup friend with me. I have a large fenced in backyard and lots of room to play. I live in a lovely neighborhood and love being here. Your dog or cat will love coming to visit me!

“Emily was amazing. Duke really took to her and had a great day. He came home a very happy and tired dog, which is always great sign!!! We will definitely be using her help again!”
