About: Hi, I’m Kayla! I’m looking to start dog walking during my lunch break during the week between 11ish am - 12ish pm in Ruckersville or the Hollymead area. I work from home Monday, Tuesday, and Friday. I will travel up to 15 minutes from my home (given 30 minutes with your pet). I can also do walks after 4:30 pm, given a proper heads up to adjust my schedule. I am well trained with animals and was also a veterinary assistant out after college! I currently have a Morkie named Rocco. I’ve grown up with larger dogs such as German Shepherds, Bulldogs, and Labrador retrievers so I’ve very comfortable with dogs up to 115 pounds. I will also be available on some weekends with a two week advance notice with a little bit more flexible hours. I can’t wait to hear from you! Luckily with my job, I can take lunch whenever. I can work more with your schedule and walk your pet between 11 am - 2:00 pm and anytime after 4:30 pm on certain days. I have a fur baby as well, so I know exactly what it’s like trusting another person to care for your special pet. I will treat your pet just as my own!
About: Animals are my true heart and passion. I've had dogs my entire life, from min pins to mastiffs. There's no animal I won't truly love. I currently volunteer at a few local places and am not employed. I have a passion for all animals and a love of helping others. My animals are my children and are treated as such. Their safety and comfort comes before my own. I will treat your home and furry babies with love and respect.
“Megan was an amazing kitty sitter! My girls took to her immediately and she wrote the best reviews and took great photos to send to me while I was on vacation. 10/10 recommend 🥰”

“Cynthia was fantastic with the animals and with her communication. We were able to enjoy our trip without ever having to worry about our critters care. Bella is still relatively new to the family and can sometimes be skittish around new people, but she warmed up to Cynthia almost immediately. Your animals will be in good hands with Cynthia!”
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind and worked for a dog walking service in Charlottesville for a few years. I’ve worked with animals for about 7 years, I had four of my own dogs growing up and loved being around dogs. I love seeing all the cute pups out there. Happy to help with any needs; walking, sitting and drop ins! I’m currently a stay at home mom just looking for some extra outside/walking time. I love working with animals and seeing all my favorite dogs everyday! I’ve had experience dog sitting, can provide references. I love to meet before hand and get to know all of your dogs needs and how to properly care for them in the best way possible while your gone.
About: I have walked dogs and house-sat dogs and cats since I was a kid! I walked dogs for family and friends for vacations, during the work day, or for weekend trips! I am avaliable to fit pet care during the week, Monday- Friday, from 6 am to 6pm. I am pretty flexible on times and specific needs! I am happy to spend time walking your fur baby, tiring them out with fetch or a game, or being around them to keep them company.
“Mary was great with our cat Monty! She was very communicative and spent lots of time with him over the 7 days she sat for us. The house was immaculate when we got back. Would 100% recommend her”

“Lindsay is honest, communicative, reliable, and so wonderful with our two high energy dogs. Each weekend, she confirms with us which days she is able to let our dogs out, and has been so flexible with our chaotic schedule. Clearly Lindsay is great with dogs— even our shy pup quickly warmed up to her as we saw in her check-in photos. We are very grateful to have her as our walker and cannot recommend her enough!”

About: Some things that make my care stand out! 📸 Daily Updates: I provide daily photos, videos, and notes so you always know how your cat is doing. 🧼 Clean & Respectful: I’m tidy, respectful of your home, and always leave things the way I found them — or better. 💗 Patience & Trust: I take the time to build trust, especially with shy or anxious cats, never rushing interactions. Above all, I treat every cat like they’re my own — with love, patience, and attention to detail. Your cat’s comfort and happiness are my top priority. Pet care is a central part of my daily life — not just a side job, but something I genuinely love and prioritize. I structure my schedule around the needs of the pets I care for, making sure I’m available when it matters most — especially during feeding times, medication schedules, or early/late visits. I treat every visit as a chance to bond, observe behavior, and make sure each cat is healthy, happy, and comfortable — whether it’s a quick check-in or just a little more time spending time with your pet to make them happy and have a little bit of company while you're away! When caring for your pet in their own home, my top priority is maintaining a calm, familiar, and stress-free environment. I follow your pet's routine as closely as possible — from feeding schedules to preferred hiding spots — because consistency helps pets feel secure while you're away.
“First time using Dakota while we vacationed for a week. She took care of our inside cat, a fish tank, outside chickens & collected our mail. She is friendly, prompt, responsive, trustworthy and competent. We had an issue with our cat & she was good at problem solving and communicating effectively. I’d use her again!”

About: I have been a pet owner for over 15 years and have experience working with terminally ill cats and dogs. I also have been trained under vets both in-clinic and out of clinic. I currently work part time a couple hours with horses in barn and an Australian Shepherd. So I have ample time to spend with your fur babies at home. I am an energetic person, so I love to go for walks, spend ample time outside playing fetch and other stimulating games. I also enjoy water play if the fur babies enjoy water.
“Dakota was a great sitter! They were extremely responsive bud easy to communicate with. Dakota always uploaded pics of my pet and provided detailed updates. I would definitely book them again.”

“Haleigh was great with my dog, she was friendly and playful. On both days she was on time and had great time with my dog Peter. We felt very comfortable and relaxed! Highly recommended!!”

“Another great series of drop in visits for our two cats. We appreciate the detailed reports & photos each day! It made our travel stress-free to know such a caring person was taking care of our fur babies.”
Quinque cat parents share their Rover experiences
I can’t say enough about the special care Mackenzie gave to our cat. Our cat is old and I was really worried about leaving her but Mackenzie was caring and willing to deal with whatever each day brought. Thankfully Emmy is fine and thank you Mackenzie for the extra TLC for Emmy!
