About: Hi there! I'm an experienced and loving caretaker for dogs, cats, and all kinds of pets: including chickens, horses, and even the occasional bunny! I don’t do this for the money, I truly find joy in playtime, long walks, and making sure animals feel safe, happy, and loved. I must’ve been a dog in a past life! I know trusting a new sitter can feel nerve-wracking, so I always like to start with a phone call and an in-person meet & greet to make sure we’re a great fit for each other. I put a lot of time and love into each Rover family, getting to know your pets and their unique differences. Each Rover stay feels like its own little adventure, and I truly enjoy every one :) I have years of hands-on experience caring for my own pets as well as those of friends, and I’ve helped train and nurture many puppies along the way. I’m knowledgeable in grooming, basic training, and behavior support, and I bring a calm, empathetic energy to every pet I meet. My background includes work as a supplement advisor at a health food store, where I gained experience with holistic remedies and supplements—including CBD—to help pets with anxiety, pain, and general wellness. I now work remotely in environmental sustainability, which gives me a super flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your pet the attention they deserve. I live in a dog-friendly neighborhood perfect for long walks or runs, and your pet will have plenty of love from my partner and animal-loving friends while you're away. Whether your pet needs cuddles, structure, medicine, exercise, or just good company, I’ve got it covered. A couple of notes: I’m not able to accept bookings in homes that use synthetic air fresheners or otherwise strong/harsh scents (unless it can be unplugged or not used beforehand) as it disrupts my ability to be comfortable! I generally prefer stays longer than a single night but will consider one offs especially for repeat clients! Thank you for understanding. NOTE: I am still taking bookings in Asheville, NC - I will travel to you! I am currently living with my partner in Charlottesville VA I happen to work remotely from my computer with a schedule I determine myself. So I am very flexible and able to give lots of attention. I know it can be nerve wracking for your pets and I always meet your pet where they are. I understand that all pets are different with varying emotional and physical needs. I am very empathetic, understanding, and attentive when it comes to adjusting my care per animal. I am active person and love to take dogs on walks but if that’s not their jam, I am happy to curl up with a book on the couch with them.
About: I have been a pet sitter for neighbors and friends for years and just a few years ago got my own dog! I love spending time with dogs and cats whether it be on walks, in a dog park or yard, or just snuggling on the couch. I would love to meet your pets! I am a counselor at a local school but am off for the summer and have more flexibility for daytime care! I am available for evenings and weekends yearround. I would prefer to go to the client’s home and have a dependable car to get to and from! I would also prefer drop in or walks.
