“Ronda took very good care of my three cats. She made sure they were fed and watered and their litter box was clean. She shared pictures when she was able to see them; my cats love to hide. She also was respectful of my house which was a big thing gor my husband and I. We will definitely use Ronda again.”

“Leaving our animals is always the most stressful part of a vacation, but we felt at ease knowing that Jocelyn was taking card of everything. She sent lots of photos and updates, responds quickly to any messages, and is always willing to help with anything that comes up. She is awesome!!”
“Charne was awesome. First time using Rover so I was nervous about having someone I didn’t know taking care of my two dogs and being in my home but immediately after meeting Charne ,all of those feelings went away! She constantly kept me updated and sent me pictures so that I could see that my babies were ok. She was on time everyday and spent extra time with my Hank and Daisy. She was truly dedicated in providing and caring for both of my pets! I highly recommend Charne and will definitely be using her again whenever I’m away from home!!!”

About: I started my journey with dogs 4 years ago and have not looked back enjoying every moment since. I am a certified trainer who loves improving the relationship between human and dog. We have a dog yard plus 5 acres. All dogs stay in our extra bedroom, which is now considered the dog room. I personally have two dogs, a cattle dog and a husky mix. They are both very social with all other dogs. We like to have a good time here but I keep a very safe environment for the dogs, no fighting or picking on one another. NO DOG IS TURNED AWAY. If you think your dog is aggressive, I can and will evaluate them so that if possible, we will get them socializing with their own kind and having a great time. Thanks, have a good day! I train dogs for a living so I stay at my house 7 days a week besides when I work with clients and those lessons tend to run about an hour but no more than 2 hours! I have 9 years experience running my own kennel and have two dogs with a large fence so there will be no boredom here! I do prefer to kennel dogs for the night but as we get comfortable with each other they will start to earn more freedom! Pet care is my full time job and i wouldn’t have it any other way, it has been a blessing. I hope I can help make your schedule less stressful! While you’re away, let your dogs play! I have a five foot fenced in dog yard specifically for dogs. We also have another 5 acres that we will walk all client dogs on during their stay with us.-
About: I am very reliable and will treat your pet/animals like my own. I love animals dearly! I will always take the time to update the owner with pictures and messages. I am currently working a part-time job. I will definitely have time to care for your animals! I am open to answering any questions or concerns you may have. I live on my a small farm with my family. We also have 6 cats and 2 dogs. I have a lot of experience with farm animals, feeding schedules and much more!
“Mikayla is great! Highly recommend her to take care of your fur babies. She is super attentive and will love your babies as her own. She took care of my 3, 2 German Shepherds & a cocker spaniel, she did an excellent job, took them on walks 3 times a day right on time and made sure they were well feed and had clean water. Played and spend time with them at each visit, that when we got back we knew that they were well taken care of and happy! Mikayla fills out the Rover card each time and includes a lot of pictures-which I love because I get to see how much fun they we having and be part of their day. Thank you Mikayla for everything! We appreciate all your help and look forward to booking again in the future!”

About: I have experience pet and house sitting during the 24 years I lived in Alaska, with various levels of amenities in the home (some no with no flush toilet, central heat, or running water!). I've cared for cats, dogs, ferrets, snakes, turtles, tortoises, and other reptiles, fish, rabbits, birds, mice, and now chickens. I also enjoy gardening and am happy to care for indoor plants and small gardens. I have two senior cats of my own (not currently with me) that I’ve raised since they were kittens. I relocated to Culpeper, Virginia last year and have been enjoying exploring different towns and cities in central/northern Virginia while providing housesitting services and loving caring for pets. Although my profile indicates availability within a 30-mile radius of Culpeper, I may be available to accept some in-home care in Charlottesville for up to a few days at a time. My availability for drop-in care and walks depends on where I’m based at that time (for example, if I’m cat sitting in Charlottesville, I should be available for walks and drop-in care in that area.) Care specifics depend on the pet owner’s preference and pet’s needs. I have a health care background and am comfortable administering medication if needed. I’m in the process of obtaining pet basic life support certification. Reviews /references in photos are from another platform I’ve pet sit through.
“Amelia took such good care of my kitties! She communicated well, took sweet photos, and was super flexible! She also gave one of my cats his medication. Thanks for taking such good care of my pets :)”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of all ages and provided medications when needed including pills, eye drops, and shots! I also am flexible to what your pet’s routine already is! I’m home for summers from college (Go Dukes) and I’ve always loved animals, so pet-sitting is my only job over this time! I’m available all days throughout the week! When you’re vacationing in the summer I will look after your pets and give you peace of mind with pictures I take of them and I always leave your house looking like I was never even there!
About: As the daughter and employee of a successful pet-sitting business owner and veterinary technician, I’ve had the privilege of caring for a wide variety of pets. With over 10 years of experience working alongside my mother and in veterinary offices across Northern Virginia, I’ve learned that every pet is unique and deserves individualized care. At home, I have a pit mix named Bella who moved here with me from St. Croix following the hurricanes in 2017. She came with her own fair share of trauma, from a family of dogs bred to fight for entertainment purposes and was the only survivor from her litter after Hurricane Maria. Prior to that, my two rescue bassets came to us with separation anxiety, so I personally understand the challenges some pets face and how important patience and consistency are. I’m a non-smoker, organized, and detail-oriented. Most importantly, I take this work seriously and will treat your pet with the same love I give my own. Working mainly from home allows me the flexibility to plan my days around feeding, walks, playtime, and making sure pets feel safe, loved, and cared for. In my home or a client’s, I follow each pet’s usual routine for feeding, walks, play, and rest, while giving them plenty of love and attention to keep them comfortable. We can work on learning new tricks and reinforcing obedience training.
About: With both vet experience, and Animal Control experience I am quipped with almost anything animal related. I can do long walks or long naps; belly rubs or back scratched, whichever your pet would prefer. I’m currently only working part time, and my schedule is pretty flexible allowing me to drop in at almost anytime as long as a little heads-up is given. I have a very large yard as well as a dog friendly home. My pup is super friendly and down to play with any new friend, but also can be separated if needed.
