Great pet sitter! Takes a ton of pictures and communicates wonderfully! Very flexible with times, and gave me a ton of detail about each check in. She even put a package on the island for us! Will absolutely be using her again!

Gabrielle was amazing. She is very well versed in the handling of cats and their various personalities. Mine of which is extremely shy. Gabrielle took such care to be gentle when checking in on my sweet little Sasquatch. If ever you need someone to watch your beloved cat be him outgoing or a supernatural hidden force I would recommend her. I will definitely have her watch him again!

About: I’ve cared for dogs for most of my life and currently have a senior dog of my own, so I understand how important patience, routine, and communication are when trusting someone with your pet. I work remotely during the day, which allows me to provide a calm environment with lots of supervision, potty breaks, and attention throughout the day. I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels, including senior pets who may need a little extra care and patience. I know every pet has their own routine, and I’ll do my best to help them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I’m reliable, responsive, and will always keep you updated with messages and photos so you can feel at ease while your pet is in my care. I work remotely during the day, which allows me to provide flexible care, frequent potty breaks, supervision, and lots of attention throughout the day. My schedule works well for boarding, drop-ins, and walks, especially evenings and weekends. I enjoy keeping pets on their normal routine so they feel comfortable and relaxed while you’re away. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. I always try to create a calm, safe, and comfortable environment while following your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. I have a fenced-in yard for supervised outdoor time, and I’m attentive to behavior changes, feeding schedules, medications, and any special instructions. About: As a licensed mental health therapist and a round-the-clock animal mom, I am a lover of all creatures. I believe everything that has breath deserves special, precise care and attention. Things you should know about me: • I grew up with various dog breeds, ranging from small dogs (Boston terriers) to large dogs (Boxers). • I have experience with high energy dogs, puppies, and geriatric dogs. • Your dog(s) is your family member and will be treated with respect, love and extreme care! • I have experience with animals who have chronic illnesses and or animals who need liquid or pill forms of medication. • Communication is key! I believe in giving my clients as many updates as they need when caring for their animals. Please reach out with any questions or concerns. I would love to hear your thoughts and connect with you. I get the summers off from my regular, full-time job. 😊 Because of this, I am able to watch your dog(s) or cat(s) whenever you need me to! My schedule is highly flexible. I will care for the animals in your home by following any instructions you provide me. No instructions are too specific. The more details the better. I want to keep any routines you have so your animal(s) feels comfortable, safe and happy.

So incredibly thankful for the kindness and care given to a cat that doesn’t like anyone. You must have great energy that she even came out to say hello! And the kindness towards the strays that I feed. So grateful. 💕

About: I've experienced with most kind of animals and have a vet technician certificate for both large and small animal. I work with money animals and there's not much that will scare me off <3 I'm fresh out of college and I'm available almost always, I genuinely feel like taking care of animals is a reward rather than a chore, Please tell me even if your creatures are weird little stick bugs, birds Or a kangaroo! For whatever animal you have please inform me in advance of behaviors that I might need to keep an eye on or if they have medical needs or just general needs. If you have a cat who's a Maine Coon that needs a lot of brushing but is sassy when getting brushed I would like to know in advance. I will not discriminate even if your pet may be a bit aggressive to new people I just want to know for everyone's safety going into this and to ensure your pets have the best experience possible. Frequent bathroom breaks are given however if your animal has different dietary needs I would also like to know that. I'm well aware that some animals may not get along with one another while eating even if they get along fine during the day and I am also aware that some may eat non-Stop with food in front of them and for that I would have to limit their food to meal times. Everything I ask is for the welfare of your pets.

Alicyn was great! My cat was happy, healthy, and enthusiastic when I returned from more than a month away. She sent me pictures and updates and my cat was clearly having a great experience. I came home to full food and water bowls and a thriving cat. All seems to have gone very well and Alicyn achieved everything I wanted her to. Highly recommended - an excellent cat sitter!

About: I have been surrounded by animals my entire life. Growing up, I assisted my parents with their work as dog breeders and was actively involved in showing dogs. Over the years, I have owned and cared for dogs, cats, and even horses and mules, gaining hands‑on experience in a wide range of animal care and training settings. Today, I simply enjoy every moment I can spend relaxing with and snuggling any dog or cat that comes my way. Dogs hold a particularly special place in my heart. I currently share my home with two wonderful dogs. Maddie, my 8‑year‑old Rottweiler–Shepherd mix, is a gentle 70‑pound sweetheart who is thoroughly spoiled. Todd, my beagle, is energetic, playful, and always seeking attention—he loves nothing more than being outdoors and staying active. I truly look forward to meeting your fur baby and giving them the same level of care, attention, and affection I give my own. I work from home and do not follow a fixed schedule, which allows me to maintain exceptionally flexible availability. This flexibility enables me to provide attentive, personalized care—whether that means frequent potty breaks, timely feedings, regular walks, play sessions, or simply being present to offer comfort and companionship throughout the day. Your pet will never have to wait long for attention, making their time with me both comfortable and stress‑free. I provide a range of personalized care services, including dog walking, interactive play sessions, and close, comforting companionship—especially for pets who may be shy or hesitant. I take a gentle, patient approach with timid dogs, allowing them to set the pace while I offer consistent, calm interactions. By giving them space, speaking softly, using positive reinforcement, and letting them come to me when they feel ready, I help build trust naturally and respectfully. My goal is to create a safe, reassuring environment where even the most reserved dogs can feel comfortable and cared for.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Cheyenne… my fur baby walker! She spent a full hour with Gracie and treated her with so much kindness, patience, and genuine care. It’s obvious she truly loves animals and takes pride in what she does. Gracie came home happy, relaxed, and completely worn out which is not easy with a Labrador! I also appreciated the updates, professionalism, and peace of mind knowing my dog was in such good hands. Reliable, compassionate, trustworthy, and above and beyond in every way. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone who will care for their dog like family. Five stars isn’t enough! So….. I’ll add an extra five paws up from Gracie! 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Quincy stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
