About: I’ve cared for dogs for most of my life and currently have a senior dog of my own, so I understand how important patience, routine, and communication are when trusting someone with your pet. I work remotely during the day, which allows me to provide a calm environment with lots of supervision, potty breaks, and attention throughout the day. I’m comfortable with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels, including senior pets who may need a little extra care and patience. I know every pet has their own routine, and I’ll do my best to help them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I’m reliable, responsive, and will always keep you updated with messages and photos so you can feel at ease while your pet is in my care. I work remotely during the day, which allows me to provide flexible care, frequent potty breaks, supervision, and lots of attention throughout the day. My schedule works well for boarding, drop-ins, and walks, especially evenings and weekends. I enjoy keeping pets on their normal routine so they feel comfortable and relaxed while you’re away. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. I always try to create a calm, safe, and comfortable environment while following your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. I have a fenced-in yard for supervised outdoor time, and I’m attentive to behavior changes, feeding schedules, medications, and any special instructions. About: As a licensed mental health therapist and a round-the-clock animal mom, I am a lover of all creatures. I believe everything that has breath deserves special, precise care and attention. Things you should know about me: • I grew up with various dog breeds, ranging from small dogs (Boston terriers) to large dogs (Boxers). • I have experience with high energy dogs, puppies, and geriatric dogs. • Your dog(s) is your family member and will be treated with respect, love and extreme care! • I have experience with animals who have chronic illnesses and or animals who need liquid or pill forms of medication. • Communication is key! I believe in giving my clients as many updates as they need when caring for their animals. Please reach out with any questions or concerns. I would love to hear your thoughts and connect with you. I work an 8-5 job Monday-Thursday, but am off on the weekends! If hired during the week, I work around my normal day job to meet you and your animal’ needs. I will care for the animals in your home by following any instructions you provide me. No instructions are too specific. The more details the better. I want to keep any routines you have so your animal(s) feels comfortable, safe and happy.
“Great pet sitter! Takes a ton of pictures and communicates wonderfully! Very flexible with times, and gave me a ton of detail about each check in. She even put a package on the island for us! Will absolutely be using her again!”

“Alexis C was great with my 2 terriers. She was a stop by x 2 while I was out of town that day. Followed instructions and dogs liked her. I wouldn't hesitate to ask her to dog sit again. Highly recommend.”
“I am always SO thankful for Alicyn! Zeta has stayed at her house before and this week Alicyn was able to walk her for me while I was at work. Zeta loves seeing her!! Would definitely recommend. Ty Alicyn!”

“So incredibly thankful for the kindness and care given to a cat that doesn’t like anyone. You must have great energy that she even came out to say hello! And the kindness towards the strays that I feed. So grateful. 💕”

“Collin came highly recommended to me and my little pup in a short time's notice! He took the time to meet him beforehand which definitely helped to create a good rapport. On sitting night he was kind enough to send plenty of updates and pictures, will definitely book again! :)”

“Haley was great. Our cat got sick while we were on vacation and she was so helpful. She got him to the vet and kept in constant contact. I will only trust HER for future visits. You (and your pet) will love her!!!”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
