About: Over the past 20 years I've raised from pups two Rottweilers and one American Bulldog. I'm big on routine exercise and healthy boundaries to establish a good relationship with the pet. I consult as a project manager and work from home. I understand the importance of routine when dealing with pets particularly working breeds and breeds with high energy. I have a large fenced in back yard and an 8 by 10 covered kennel. My home is large enough to accommodate pets and I also live next to a large regional park for long walks.

Brutus is a super senior with special needs, so he needed a caretaker with Jonathan’s kind of expertise and mindfulness. I’ve never left him with a sitter outside of the family before, but I had such a stress free weekend after leaving Brutus in his hands. Jonathan had amazing communication with me and sent cute pictures of Brutus napping or exploring around the property. Jonathan’s two dogs are also super sweet and respectful of other dogs’ space, but he also respected any boundaries or rules I set for Brutus for the stay. The ability to run around the large fenced backyard and play with several of Valerie's dogs is excellent exercise and social stimulation for her. The fact Valerie has a spare room Laffy can have to sleep in with no worries about what she can get into is very comforting. Lastly, Valerie is so flexible in drop off and pickup times and responds very quickly to our booking requests. She makes leaving Laffy when we need to a very easy and positive experience.”

About: My dog, Major, and I do practically everything together, and other pups easily fit in at our home and into our day-to-day life. We've been through extensive training together, so he's very attentive and I can continue any training you may be working on with your dog while you're away. I only take one client at a time and work from home when I have clients, so your pet will be cared for around the clock! There aren't any stairs that your pet will need to use, so those with mobility issues are absolutely welcome here. I've been able to work with a fairly unique schedule and setup for my own dog's needs (e.g. 3 meals a day, not being left alone, sticking mostly to the ground level of the house), so there probably isn't much your pet can throw at me that I can't accommodate 😉 We typically do very short walks if any on a given day, but I can morning, evening, and nighttime walks with your dog, as well as afternoon walks when I don't have meetings. Dogs get plenty of potty breaks between and during meetings, as well as morning and night. I have a 6' vinyl privacy fence around the back and side yards that is just a couple years old. The front and back doors are at ground level, which is easier on those with mobility concerns. Being in the middle of an established neighborhood, the streets don't get a lot of traffic and things stay lively but peaceful. I have the ability to separate dogs if needed, and I have a very sturdy crate always available if preferred. We live in a drug-free and smoke-free home, so no smell and nothing hazardous for your pup to get into or be surrounded by.
