“Maellen was extremely patient and understanding with Odi and helped me feel at ease leaving him in someone elses home for the first time! She sent lots of photos and clearly gave him lots of love :)”

“Lisa was an amazing cat sitter! She was incredibly sweet and took wonderful care of our cat, Woody. He has never been away from home before, and I was really nervous — but both Lisa and her dog, Gullu, were so gentle and comforting with him. I was genuinely surprised by how relaxed and at ease he seemed around them. Lisa sent us daily updates with photos and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind. She was very responsive whenever we had questions and was super flexible with our schedule. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend her!”

“Josephine did a great job with Archie, I was truly impressed, she went above and beyond, her dog Paco is lovely and sweet, don’t hesitate to book!!”

“Cecilia was an excellent last minute sitter for my dog for the weekend. She was communicative and provided lots of photo updates each day. I know he was loved and cared for in my absence.”

“Mary was excellent, she treated Nico like he was her own I was sent pictures of him watching soccer with her on the couch and relaxing on the outside furniture. He was right at home I will be taking him back to her my next vacation thank you Mary for taking such great care of my Nico”

“We could not be more grateful to have found Marlena for our first River experience! Especially on a last minute notice! Leaving our doggos with someone new is always a bit stressful, but she instantly won them (& us) over & treated our dogs like her own. Throughout the stay (overnight plus additional hours), Marlena was incredibly sincere & honest with us about how our dogs were doing. She provided detailed updates, photos & videos, we so appreciated her open communication. It gave us complete peace of mind knowing our dogs were in such a safe, capable, & loving hands. Our dogs just loved her so much. We will absolutely be booking with Marlena again!”

“Rosalia cared for our dog Winnie for 3 weeks while we took a dream vacation. It was pretty hard for us to feel good about leaving Winnie for so long, but Rosalia made it easy with daily updates. It was clear to us that Winnie was having a great time, which enabled us to have a good time on our trip. Thanks Rosalia!”

“Doug was very easy to communicate with and took great care of my two pups while I was on a quick over-nighter out of town. Will definitely use again for any future dog-care needs while traveling!”

“Onrae is my very first Rover experience. Onrae responded quickly, professionally and was very responsive. I had concerns about my dogs behavior (he can be pretty high energy) Lucky for me Dashy was very well behaved at our meet and greet. After talking with Onrae a few minutes I had no concerns if Dashy did have any behavior issues staying there. When dropping off Dashy, he was excited to go in with the well mannered kids. I had prompt check in the next day. Basiclly Dashy did great and I had no concerned about his well being or about any behavior issues. Onrae is highly experienced and highly recommended. He's a no nonsense guy who seems to really care for dogs and client parents concerns. I will definately be using Onrae in the future!”

“Sophie is so nice, gentle, accommodating, & a wonderful pup care-giver. Plus she sent an update and cute photos every day. We couldn't ask for anything more & will definitely use her again if she is available.”

“Jamie and Patrick were great with our dog while we were out of town. From the moment we met them we knew she would be well cared for and have plenty of playtime and attention. Jamie was great with communication and kept us updated with how she was doing and sent plenty of pictures as well. We will absolutely be booking with them again when the time comes.”

“My dog Eva looked like she had a great time. She was well taken care of. I can tell Bonni has the patience of a saint to work with Eva during meal times. My pup doesn’t always like to eat in different environments. I received photos and updates regularly which helped ease my mind while we were away from home. Would definitely book again.”

“Liz was absolutely amazing with Muppet! Great communication and flexibility. She sent us daily messages with updates about Muppet's day, and lots of pictures. Liz was very professional, friendly, and loving with Muppet. Thank you so much, Liz!”

“Esperita is always fantastic, and takes great care of Luca! She is great at communicating how the stay is going and sends lots of pictures so we know that he is doing good. 😊”

About: Hi! My name is Alex, and I've been working as a veterinary technician for over six years. Caring for animals has always been my passion, and I love providing pets with a safe, comfortable, and stress-free environment while their families are away. Because of my veterinary background, I'm experienced caring for pets with medical needs, including administering oral and topical medications, insulin and other injections, subcutaneous fluid therapy, and basic wound care when appropriate. Whether your pet is a playful puppy, a senior needing a little extra attention, or one with special medical needs, you can feel confident they'll receive knowledgeable and compassionate care. In addition to my veterinary experience, I hold a Master's in Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare, giving me a strong appreciation for communication, organization, and dependable client service. I'll treat your pets as if they were my own and keep you updated with plenty of photos and messages throughout their stay. For boarding, I ask that dogs are either kennel trained or non-destructive when unsupervised. I have two large crates available in my home, so you don't need to provide one unless your dog is more comfortable with their own. My schedule also allows for flexibility—while I work as a veterinary technician 2–3 days each week, my husband works from home several days a week with an office just minutes from our home, allowing us to accommodate dogs that may need more frequent potty breaks. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members and providing them with the same level of care and attention I'd want for my own pets! Pet care is already a central part of my daily life. I work 2–3 days each week as a veterinary technician, so caring for animals is both my career and my passion. On my days off, I'm home caring for my own pets, fostering animals in need when available, and providing attentive care for boarding and daycare pets. My schedule is intentionally kept flexible, and my husband works from home several days a week with an office just minutes from our house, allowing us to accommodate pets that need more frequent potty breaks or extra attention. Whether it's playtime, enrichment, medication administration, or simply providing a calm and loving environment, I make sure every pet in my care receives the individualized attention they deserve. If your dog is staying in my home, they'll be treated like part of the family. I have a securely fenced yard for supervised outdoor play and potty breaks, and my own pets are friendly, social, and enjoy meeting new companions. Every pet has their own personality, so I take the time to help them settle in at their own pace. If your dog is kennel trained or prefers the security of a crate, I have two large kennels available to make them feel comfortable. As a veterinary technician with over six years of experience, I'm also comfortable caring for pets with medical needs, including administering medications, injections, subcutaneous fluids, and monitoring for any changes in behavior or health. My goal is to provide not only a fun stay but also a safe one. For walks and drop-in visits, your pet's safety is always my top priority. I always ensure dogs are securely leashed before opening any door or gate, and I pay close attention to their body language and comfort level throughout our time together. I enjoy getting to know each pet's unique routines, quirks, and preferences so I can provide care that feels familiar and low-stress. Whether I'm caring for your pet in my home or yours, I believe in building lasting relationships based on trust, communication, and compassion. I'll keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your furry family member is in experienced, loving hands.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Quail Springs
We couldn't have asked for a better experience with Mary and her wonderful family. From the moment I met them, I knew Tula was in kind, capable hands. Mary has a loving home filled with children, cats, and dogs, and Tula settled in as if she had always belonged there. It was clear she was treated as part of the family, receiving plenty of attention, affection, and excellent care. Knowing Tula was happy, safe, and well-loved gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We are so grateful to Mary and her family for welcoming her into their home, and we would not hesitate to trust them with Tula again. We highly recommend Mary to anyone looking for exceptional, loving care for their pet.

We traditionally have used canine country club in the past, however we were in a bind because our 7 month old golden retriever is not spayed (vet recommended to wait a year). My sister recommended Rover (new to us). We found Erich and he seemed to be a fit. It was a confirmed win from the introduction! Erich (and Louie) were calm, fun, interesting, engaging and welcoming! Erich has a very special skill training dogs/puppies that provide immediate results. We could tell he cared deeply for his dog Louie and bestowed that love on our puppy as well. Our Golden stayed overnight with them and was happy, healthy, and far better behaved when we picked her up than when she was dropped off. A huge thank you to Erich and Louie for giving Montana your time, skill, love and attention!
