“Kelly is awesome! We went to Ocean City to spend some time at the beach and Kelly is just off the main route coming from Northern Virginia. She took great care of our dog for three nights and sent us pictures at the end of each day, totally unexpected. Besides being great with animals she is just a great person. If you are in here area I would recommend giving her your business!!”

“Paige was great. She was available on short notice and was accommodating to a weird drop-off time due to bad weather. She was attentive to my animals needs and it was obvious my pup had a great time with her. She sent tons of pictures and videos and gave comprehensive daily updates. I would absolutely recommend this sitter and will be using her again in the future.”

“Daniela took wonderful care of my dog over a long boarding stay. She was communicative and she and her family treated my dog like one of their own. Couldn’t recommend her more!”

“Amy is an angle. She was so down to earth and I felt at ease leaning my boy with her. She kept me updated throughout the entire day with pictures and videos. She took my baby on an adventure with lots of trips and care rides which he loves. I told her what he likes and didn’t and she made sure to do all the things he loves. In every picture and video she sent I saw how happy my baby boy was. Definitely booking with her again! Thank you so much he had so much fun and you showed him so much love. 😊😊”

“Daniel and his wife did an exceptional job with my dog Bandit. I was so nervous, Bandit is 8.5 years old and had never been with anyone alone. He did phenomenal with him giving me updates and texts with photos. Made me feel at ease. I had just recently moved to the area and knew nobody had to be an away for a long weekend which required a need for Bandit to be in care. This was just what I was looking for. Very conveniently located also. Would recommend and plan to book again in the future.”

“Finley had a great time at Robert and Susan’s! There were plenty of other dogs Finley’s size for her to play with, as well as a large backyard to get all of her energy out! Would certainly have Finley stay with them again.”

“We’re new to the area and needed a dog sitter for our pup, Piper—and I’m so glad we found Michelle! She was super friendly right from the first message and offered to do a meet and greet, which immediately put us at ease. Piper took to her right away! During her stay, Piper had an absolute blast. Michelle went above and beyond—she even took Piper on her boat (with my ok, of course!), made her homemade treats (always double-checking ingredients with me first), and ended the stay with a fun little crabbing adventure and a relaxing bath. For a New York dog, this trip was full of firsts! It’s such a relief to find someone I can fully trust with my girl. I’ve already booked Michelle for our next vacation. 5 stars all the way! Highly recommend!”

“Collen was great. Wiyot is was so relaxed when I picked him up and he us usually a hyper type doodle. I would not hesitate to have Wiyot stay again. Thank you so much for a worry free visit.”

About: Ive taken care of dogs of different breeds and sizes since 11years old. I’ve had pets dropped off at my house to dog sit, I’ve gone to others houses for the weekend to dogsit family, friends and neighbors that have entrusted me with their pets. I’m currently working and doing online classes from home. So I have plenty of time to focus on the pup/dog. I work wells with schedules so I can work around the normal schedule you have your dog/pup at. I don’t have a fenced yard but I do have a yard, which I walk the dogs around town to get their walks in. I have 3 cats but depending on the dog they can stay on the 3rd floor. I also have a neutered male husky and a unspayed cattle dog mix (she’ll be fixed in a few months) we have 4 adults at the house as well. I’ll do onboarding , walks , and also checking in on them if you’re away.

“Debra was incredibly sweet. This was a last minute booking with the holidays 1-2 days away. Debra was incredibly responsive throughout he process. She took our dog on frequent walks, provided photos/videos and updates how he was doing. Simply put, we couldn’t have asked for more. We’d definitely recommend.”

“Debby was a wonderful pet sitter! I felt completely comfortable leaving my dog in her care and knew he was safe, happy, and well taken care of. She even checked in with a picture of him. I would definitely recommend her!”

“I can't speak highly enough of Cori and the exceptional care she provides for our pet. From the moment we entrusted her with our furry friend, it was clear that he was in loving hands. Cori goes above and beyond, ensuring he receives all the cuddles and attention he craves. Her genuine affection for animals shines through, making our pet feel right at home. Whether it's playtime, snuggles, or just keeping him company, Cori is always attentive and responsive to his needs. We truly appreciate her dedication and warmth. Knowing our pet is so well cared for brings us peace of mind, and we couldn’t be happier! Thank you, Cori, for making our pet's experience so special! 🐾❤️”

“Zeke is nervous in the car when traveling. The minute we got to Beth and Ron's home, he saw Beth, jumped around a bit and headed to the door to be let in while Beth and I were talking. He loves it there and comes home happy and tired ( from playing with Riley) :) It's so clear that they like him as well. I am so happy we found a good place for Zeke to stay when I can't take him with me.”

“Sandra took the time to meet with our dogs prior to boarding, sent several updates throughout their stay, and made me feel comfortable leaving them in her care. Most importantly, my dogs seemed to love her. I plan to come to Sandra for any future boarding needs!”

“Our dog, who can be a wee bit nervous, had such a lovely time with Jeremiah and his family! They were so kind and communicative, and we’ll happily trust them to care for her again. She can’t wait to be back for snuggles with the kids!”

“I would definitely recommend and book again. Keeps you updated with pictures and videos. Took care of our dog like if it was her own. I had no worries during my trip about my dog being cared for b/c I know my dog was in good hands. I dropped a list minutes book and she responded quickly, which we are very appreciative for.”

“Bullet loves staying with brenda. She has a beautiful big backyard for him to run around in and he loves the company she is able to provide while watching him. I wouldn't even consider anyone else if brenda is available!”

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in DE ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
