About: I’ve owned and cared for many types of animals throughout my life. I have experience with dogs, cats, small animals, some birds and reptiles. I am my family’s and neighbors go-to pet sitter. About: Hi, I am a volunteer EMT and have a life long passion for dogs and all animals. On my spare time, my wife (Melinda) and I enjoy various aspects of the outdoors, no matter the season. We frequently pet sit for my brother-in law's German Shepard, who is full of energy, of which I have learned all the commands and public interaction techniques. About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a small child; constantly rescuing, nurturing and loving animals in need! I have compassion for all animals, big and small, but have a special place for dogs in my heart. If your dog is to board with me I will treat them as if they were my own. I want them to be as comfortable in my home as possible, so that means keeping them on the same schedule they follow at your house, letting them on the furniture and giving them lots of attention and nurturing. I firmly believe all animals deserve to be treated with respect and kindness. I also enjoy exercising - especially running and hiking!! I'm enthusiastic to hike, walk, walk/jog or run with your dog depending on their size, age and health. I love nothing more than starting and ending my day with exercise and having a pup to accompany me. I live with my husband who is an avid dog lover and currently works from home, so he is here almost all hours throughout the day and loves to help out with the dogs. About: I have taken care of small and large breeds of dogs since the young age of seven. As soon as I was able to as an adult I rescued a dog and a cat because no home is complete without the pitter-patter of furry feet. My pets are more than pets, they're family, and yours will be treated just the same when they're in my care. I have a beagle/poodle mix that is two years old that loves to have friends to play with. He sleeps in the bed, but if you prefer your doggie to be crated I can do that too.
