About: I have guinea pigs, cats, dogs, and chickens. I have also had a bearded dragon and rabbits. I am very used to caring for many types of animals and love them all. Have experience with all different ages and many different needs for each pet. They’re our family ! I was a teacher for 12 years in elementary school. After our 3rd child was born i decided to stay home to take care of our children and our pets full time. I am very flexible with my schedule and our pets love visitors - animals and humans !! I have a fully fenced in backyard and three very friendly dogs and three very friendly children :) We are all animal lovers. I am home during the days and when school starts, I am the only one home so it’s nice and quiet. We live in a great area for dog walks and are close to many parks for hikes too.

About: Hi, I am a volunteer EMT and have a life long passion for dogs and all animals. On my spare time, my wife (Melinda) and I enjoy various aspects of the outdoors, no matter the season. We frequently pet sit for my brother-in law's German Shepard, who is full of energy, of which I have learned all the commands and public interaction techniques. My wife and I have a fleece-lined jacket 4 any puppy to help combat the weather. Additionally we have couch protectors, Memory Foam bed, a basket of toys, and food and water dish set up

About: My husband Douglas was the Kennel Manager & Behavioral Director of an animal rescue for several years while I served as the Adoption Coordinator. We worked with all ages, sizes, breeds, medical needs, and temperaments where Douglas went on to attend school to become a professional dog trainer. We began our own business after purchasing 5 acres and having a space in our home dedicated specifically to boarding pups! They’re not in a kennel, they’re in the home with us all the time. Your dog will be treated like our own. We’ve established long term relationships with several families and we send daily photos, videos, updates to you while you’re away ♡ Additional training services are available as requested. Free of cost pickup & drop off within 30miles of our location, bathing and grooming provided for free if your stay is longer than 3-days! We both work fully from home! I’m a licensed mental health therapist that sees clients virtually in my home office, and Douglas is home all day everyday with our personal pets and boarding families. I initially found out about Rover from looking for a sitter for my dog (8 lb papillon) because he had never been boarded and his usual sitter was not available. It then got me into wanting to pet sit for others and offer other pets the same comfort I wanted for my dog and offer you the peace of mind knowing I am treating them as my own! I know it is hard to trust just anybody and you want your dog or cat to feel safe and comfortable while you are away; I make sure to send pictures and updates daily so you know how their stay is going (and how spoiled they are getting). My goal is to make it so you can fully enjoy your vacation and your pet feels like they are on one too! I have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life (and a whole other array of animals - guinea pigs, lizards, birds, etc.)...I also have fostered and volunteered at shelters but have found it really hard to not adopt them all, so this is the best of both worlds. I can take care of your puppy all the way up to your senior. She was always happy to jump out of the car and run up the driveway to great Jodi at the door. She was very accommodating with our time schedule.
