Liza is great! Most importantly, our Abby loves her and Liza likes Abby an awful lot, too. Liza is reliable, responsive to questions and keeps me informed. She has been so kind during a family member’s serious health problems. Because they were hospitalized unexpectedly, there was and the uncertainty of how long the overnights booking would last since it was dependent on how things went after surgery.

Savina did a great job walking our dog while we were out for the day. We came home to a worn out and happy pup! We had peace of mind knowing Savina was watching over our baby. We recommend Savina and will book her for future walks!

She was awesome! She was absolutely fantastic with Kai. She took pictures of him on every walk. He was very excited to see her every time. We had to change the schedule for walking at the last minute but she was very accommodating. She was also excellent at communicating, responding promptly to my messages. I will definitely book her again!

About: I have been caring for dogs since I can remember because I’ve always had dogs of my own. Currently I have 4 dogs that I help take care of daily. I have experience taking care of at minimum two dogs as far as the Seattle area for so far max of two weeks. I have also taken care of chickens at the same time so I am prepared in whatever may need to be done. I have no job and am available whenever as far north as Seattle if needed. I am available essentially 24/7 starting June 22nd, until august 16th. I have four dogs and therefore caring for a pet in my own home could prove difficult. However, I am comfortable staying in your house if needed or preferred. I always ask for specific instructions from the owner concerning whatever I need to be informed on because I am aware everyone treats their pet differently.

Maria is especially good at coaxing our dog out on walks when the pup doesn't want to go. We also appreciate that she submits Rover cards for each visit and leaves the house exactly as she found it. We feel so much better about being at work all day knowing Maria is spending time with our dog.

About: Throughout my life I've had 4 dogs. Currently I have two, with one being a 2-year-old pup I've been training ever since I adopted her and one that's pretty old and requires some special care. I used to work as a dog groomer for a business called Kendra's Grooming and I would watch her dogs when she went away with her family for vacation. For Kendra's Grooming I would bathe, dry, and hold dogs whenever needed. All of my classes are online currently for the summer and I'm open whatever day of the weekdays and Saturdays along with whatever time or for however long. So, I'm able to work whatever time is needed. I would be able to keep a constant eye on your pup, take them on however many walks you would want, and would be able to care for them in whatever way is needed. I've worked with animals with all sorts of personalities and in varying stages of health, so I can work with any form of animal, and I can accommodate for any of your pet's unique needs.

About: Iv always grown up around animals especially dogs. From a family setting to being just me and my dog in college. I’m a current service member so I have access on JBLM as well. I only have my one pup and getting her a fun friend for a few days is fun for us both. I’m currently off work all summer so I’m usually taking my dog on walks 2+ times a day and just getting out to enjoy the PNW sun. Super careful at first and then loosen up when I learn how they want to play and interact. Some dogs want go play 24/7 and some just like to be a potato. Both are great to me

About: Animals have always been an important part of my life. I've helped rescue nine cats and raised seven from kittens to adulthood, which has given me extensive experience with feline care and behavior. I love getting to know each pet's unique personality and building a bond with them through play, attention, and consistent care. In addition to cats, I regularly help care for my family's dog through walks, playtime, and daily care. I also have experience raising and caring for ducks, which has taught me the importance of providing consistent care, maintaining routines, and paying attention to each animal's needs. While cats are where most of my experience lies, I'm excited to work with dogs and other animals as well. I'm reliable, attentive to detailed care instructions, and dedicated to making sure pets feel comfortable, happy, and loved while their owners are away. Whether your pet needs playtime, companionship, exercise, or specialized care, I'll treat them with the same patience and attention I give my own animals. I'm currently on summer break from college, so I'll have almost unlimited free time to play and care for your pets! I also don't mind weird hours, day or night. I treat every pet as if they were my own. I carefully follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, and any other care requirements provided by the owner. I like to be extra attentive and keep a close eye on pets because their safety and comfort are my top priorities. I also make sure they receive plenty of attention, playtime, and companionship while you're away, helping them feel happy and secure in their familiar environment.

About: I've been the go to carer for all kinds of pets (dogs, cats, senior animals.) for my family and friends since I was a teenager. I find that I have a calming presence that puts them at ease. I have some experience with training, mostly with previous pets. I'm currently in school and working part time. I have Friday, Saturdays and Sundays free. And Thursday afternoons free. If things go well here, I hope to have Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons free too. I have a fenced yard with lots of room to play and lots of toys. I no longer have pets of my own, so any animal under my care will get my full attention.

About: Hi, I’m Victoria! With a background in biology and years of experience working in the field, I’ve developed a deep respect and love for all animals. I’ve spent time in remote areas, on the ocean, and in tropical environments—but nothing makes me feel more at home than the company of a furry friend. Whether it's going for walks, playing fetch, or providing calm companionship, I tailor every visit to your pet’s needs. I’m reliable, communicative, and treat every pet as if they were my own. From energetic pups to shy seniors, I’ve got the patience and experience to make them feel safe and happy while you're away. Let’s chat—I’d love to meet you and your pet! Pet care fits very naturally into my routine. I work contract positions in Alaska as a marine biologist, so when I’m not on contract, I’m home full-time and have a very open, flexible schedule. During those periods, I’m available all days of the week and can provide consistent, hands-on care including feeding, exercise, enrichment, walks, vet visits, and lots of attention. Because my schedule is structured around contracts, I’m able to fully commit my time and energy to the animals in my care when I’m home. I am happy to provide lots of love, play, and attention when we’re around! Your pet’s safety and comfort are top priorities for me. I live in a spacious first-floor apartment in a very pet-friendly complex with a large grassy area and a big dog park just steps away—perfect for walks and playtime. I have had pets my entire life, so I'm experienced, attentive, and know how to spot any signs of discomfort. I also have close friends who are veterinarians, giving me and you an extra layer of support and peace of mind. Your pet will be in safe, loving hands here!

  • 94% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 97% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
