“My puppy, Fancy, was very well taken care of. I’m so happy to have found Courtney, and Rover. I will never board again. Fancy was with a family, getting 24/7 care and love. I was given updates and funny stories about my wild girl. Such a great experience!!!!”

“Sheila was absolutely amazing. She cared for Koda as if he was her own, and he was in no hurry to leave. The whole time there was great communication and I really appreciated him being the only dog in the home. He got great exercise and attention and love as if part of the family! I’ve never left my dog with a sitter before, and had to schedule on very short notice. I’m so thankful for Sheila and such a wonderful experience!!”

“Cheryl watched my 11 month old goldendoodle with a small notice and I believe she did amazing! She sent updates and responded back quickly every time. My fur baby came back so happy looking and worn out (which is good) which meant he had a lot of fun! He was drooling while napping when he got back LOL.”

“Luke was great again with the dogs! He has so much patience with them and they had a great time! No need to worry about your pups when they are with Luke, they are well taken care of. He is so easy to work with, we are so happy to have found him! This was there 2nd visit, and it was just so easy and smooth. Dogs had a wonderful time!”

About: I have always had pets in the home. I believe animals are like children. I volunteer part time at prarie paws animal shelter in ottawa to share my love for pets. I train all of my own pets and am able to handle large dogs, difficult leash walkers, and provide mentally stimulating activities. I work 5 minutes from home. On week days I go home for my lunch to care for the animals in my care. The animals will only have to go up to 4 hours during the day without interaction. During this time they will be supervised via a monitor in the room. We are a multi pet home. We have 2 dogs, 1 cat, 3 fish tanks, and even chickens. We love animals! Your pet will have his or her own private suite in our home which includes a bed, Kennel, toys, blanket etc. We provide activities that will help mentally stimulate your pet and ease their anxiety. The upper level of our home is where your pet will be housed, away from the other animals to prevent any conflicts that may occur and reduce any anxiety that may come with unfamiliar animals. We are able to take up to 2 pets. This number is decided on the amount of private space we are able to provide your pet. 2 rooms are available.

“Rubi and her family did a wonderful job caring for our dear dachshund for the ten days we were out of the country! Before we connected with Rubi, we were very nervous about leaving Penny with someone who wouldn’t care well for her or understand significant health circumstances inherent to the dachshund breed. But, after meeting her and her dear family, and every day thereafter, our nervousness changed to confidence that they would take great care of our demanding, headstrong, precious dog. And they did! Thank you, Rubi!”

About: I have had dogs my entire life and caring for animals has always been a natural part of who I am. Professionally, I worked in a veterinary clinic as a veterinary technician, where I gained hands-on experience with animal health, behavior, medication administration, and recognizing signs of illness or distress. In addition, I worked at a dog boarding and daycare facility where I supervised group play, managed feeding schedules, administered medications, and ensured the safety and comfort of dogs of all sizes and temperaments. My background allows me to confidently care for puppies, seniors, special needs dogs, and pets requiring medications. I understand how important it is to trust someone in your home and with your animals, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I have flexible daytime availability and can accommodate morning, midday, and evening visits. Because I structure my schedule intentionally, I am able to give pets focused attention during walks and drop-in visits rather than rushing between commitments. I have a fenced in back yard with two small friendly dogs to play with. I can crate the dog/dogs as needed. They are welcome to sit with the family and make themselves comfortable!
