About: I have always had pets in the home. I believe animals are like children. I volunteer part time at prarie paws animal shelter in ottawa to share my love for pets. I train all of my own pets and am able to handle large dogs, difficult leash walkers, and provide mentally stimulating activities. I work 5 minutes from home. On week days I go home for my lunch to care for the animals in my care. The animals will only have to go up to 4 hours during the day without interaction. During this time they will be supervised via a monitor in the room. We are a multi pet home. We have 2 dogs, 1 cat, 3 fish tanks, and even chickens. We love animals! Your pet will have his or her own private suite in our home which includes a bed, Kennel, toys, blanket etc. We provide activities that will help mentally stimulate your pet and ease their anxiety. The upper level of our home is where your pet will be housed, away from the other animals to prevent any conflicts that may occur and reduce any anxiety that may come with unfamiliar animals. We are able to take up to 2 pets. This number is decided on the amount of private space we are able to provide your pet. 2 rooms are available.

About: I grew up on a farm and I have experience dealing with all kinds of animals, and it's a passion of mine to love and take care of animals. For extra money in high school, I would dog sit for family friends while they were on vacation, and I still dog/cat sit for my friends and family occasionally. About: My family has had dogs, cats and fish my whole life. I often watch them when my parents are out of town and I have dog and cat sat for family & friends for years. I have helped a friends family with their cattle and pigs, but am not as experienced with livestock outside chickens. I’m currently available 7 days/wk I work as a server in my pleasant so whoever I’m staying with ideally should be able to go 6-8hrs between potty breaks! If I have 2 weeks or more advanced notice I can make arrangements to be able to check in more frequently. o o o o o o o o o o I love interacting with the pets and getting to see them get more comfortable with me. About: I've had my three cats since January of 2021. I fell in love with them while fostering and haven't looked back since. My love for them has taught me to love and care for all cats including calling myself an aunt to my friends cats. About: I grew up my whole life on a farm, I've always had no less than 2 indoor/outdoor dogs, and plenty of indoor/outdoor cats, along with other farm animals. Every dog my family got growing up we got as a puppy and I would work with them to learn to come, sit, stay, out, heel, how to walk on a leash, and where it is okay to potty, and where it isn't. I've worked with dogs of all sizes and ages, I've learned how to understand different personalities in all kinds of dogs, hyper, relaxed, playful or lazy. I live in town Gardner now, I have a decent size back yard (not fenced, but I can work with dogs that have a tenancy to run and teach them not to over time), there is a walking trail around my housing complex, and lots of dog-friendly neighbors. My house has tile and carpet floors, the main floor is living space, upstairs is bedrooms. I will allow dogs to stay that will get on the couch or bed, but only if they are asked, if you have a pet who likes getting on the furniture, I don't mind working with them to teach them to ask first before climbing on. I also have horses on our family farm 20 minutes from our house, there is a doggy tether line out there in a nice, grassed yard if you want your dog to have some time to run a little energy off and you don't mind them being in the country. I am available to keep dogs overnight, or on a daily basis for a doggy-daycare, house sit, check on your pets during the day, or evening, and on weekends. I am usually very flexible, and willing to help in any way that I can. I look forward to getting to know you!

Although I can't say I've taken care of every breed out there (doubt that many people can) I have definitely seen my fair share of mutts and purebreds alike; from Corgis to Chihuahuas, Danes to Dobermans, Lhasa Apsos to Shar Peis, and even a couple of wolves (3/4 mixes) as well as a few rodents, cats, reptiles, arachnid and birds. Big or small I love "em all, but if you forced me to pick a favorite I'd have to go with the affectionate yet intimidating Perro de Presa Canario. About: I begged for my first dog when I was 10 years old, since then I have never been without one. I used to be called Brittany Dolittle as I just naturally gravitate toward animals. I watch friends and neighbors dogs while they are out of town with the help of my 3 kids. My kids are just as much animal lovers as I am. About: History: I have had dogs all throughout my life, starting in middle school when my mom and I adopted our first- under the agreement that I had full responsibility! Since then, I have had three dogs on my own, and I have provided care for my friends' and families' pets while they're away. Currently: I volunteer at Missouri Pit Bull Rescue weekly, and I have had several foster dogs through them as well. I dog-sit for my neighbors regularly. I live with my husband and our dog, Bully Porter, a 5-year-old spayed female pitbull mix. I am a registered nurse of over 12 years, and I also have experience administering medications to dogs. I am the main point of contact for the medical team through Missouri Pit Bull Rescue. I typically work from home, and during which, I have time through the day to care for pups who come to our home. Sometimes, we have a foster through the rescue, and during that time, I will need to turn off daycare/boarding. In the mornings, evenings, or over my lunch break, I can take dogs on walks or do drop-in visits. I am off most weekends as well. I do ask for flexibility with drop-in times, as my schedule may change with meetings and having to go in-person, however, I do my best to be accommodating, and I stay in communication. We have a 5' hog wire fenced yard with plenty of room for dogs to run around and play. Our female pit mix is SUPER friendly and would love to keep your dog company and play! We have 2 crates available (one medium, one XL, and when not fostering, two XL) if needed.

She’s incredibly accommodating and truly treats Gus like her own! he’s so spoiled with her. He has a great space to play and relax, and now he gets excited to go to daycare every day. I couldn’t recommend Mahala more!”

It’s very difficult leaving your puppy with strangers and I must say I felt at ease leaving her with Luke and they kept her safe and happy and content. About: Taken care of dogs my entire life. I now have a large backyard with plenty of room for play. If you have a dog who likes or needs to run we definitely have the room for that. We run K-9 Lodge of Gardner which you’ll find on Facebook. As a result I’m almost always home. If I do have to leave it usually isn’t for long and someone is still usually home. If a reason should come that I need to leave I will be able to give plenty of notice. I have two dogs myself. A Siberian Husky and a mixed dog about 20lbs Both love to play with other dogs. About: History: I have had dogs all throughout my life, starting in middle school when my mom and I adopted our first- under the agreement that I had full responsibility! Since then, I have had three dogs on my own, and I have provided care for my friends' and families' pets while they're away. Currently: I volunteer at Missouri Pit Bull Rescue weekly, and I have had several foster dogs through them as well. I dog-sit for my neighbors regularly. I live with my husband and our dog, Bully Porter, a 5-year-old spayed female pitbull mix. I am a registered nurse of over 12 years, and I also have experience administering medications to dogs. I am the main point of contact for the medical team through Missouri Pit Bull Rescue. I typically work from home, and during which, I have time through the day to care for pups who come to our home. Sometimes, we have a foster through the rescue, and during that time, I will need to turn off daycare/boarding. In the mornings, evenings, or over my lunch break, I can take dogs on walks or do drop-in visits. I am off most weekends as well. I do ask for flexibility with drop-in times, as my schedule may change with meetings and having to go in-person, however, I do my best to be accommodating, and I stay in communication. We have a 5' hog wire fenced yard with plenty of room for dogs to run around and play. Our female pit mix is SUPER friendly and would love to keep your dog company and play! We have 2 crates available (one medium, one XL, and when not fostering, two XL) if needed.

About: I have owned pets since I was very young and I became more responsible with helping take care of our pets around the age 10 or 11. I have given bathes, walks, baby sat, and clipped nails for friends and family. I also work hard to train my babies on commands. They are usually very well behaved but they are both still quite young and get so overwhelmed with excitement when meeting new people and/or dogs. I also know how to administer puppy shots and give pills/capsules. Many people trust me to watch after their beloved fur babies and I hope you will feel the same way. I have a part time job but I will have plenty of time to check on the pups and give them attention and potty breaks. Weekends are typically better for boarding and all day care but I maybe able to pull it off during the week. Other wise I’m open for walks and pop ins in the afternoon and evenings. I live right next to a park where I would take you dog for some exercise and potty time and there is a dog park about 2 miles from my home. I have crates if they are needed. I have 2 roommates who love dogs. I also have 2 dogs of my own who absolutely love to make new friends with dogs and will definitely help your babies burn off some energy.
About: I grew up on a farm and I have experience dealing with all kinds of animals, and it's a passion of mine to love and take care of animals. For extra money in high school, I would dog sit for family friends while they were on vacation, and I still dog/cat sit for my friends and family occasionally. Recently, both of my childhood dogs passed away. I can't have dogs in my apartment and I feel a longing to bond and spend time with dogs. About: I have had a variety of animals in my home since I was born and I love each and every one. I have taken care of puppies as well as older dogs. I’m not currently working, so I am almost always open to look after your babies! I am available all week and some weekends, just depending on the week! I can do whatever is needed for your pets whether that be kenneling, fenced yard, etc. I take my dog out on a leash at my house so i’m also good with that.

About: My family has had dogs, cats and fish my whole life. I often watch them when my parents are out of town and I have dog and cat sat for family & friends for years. I have helped a friends family with their cattle and pigs, but am not as experienced with livestock outside chickens. I’m currently available 7 days/wk I work as a server in my pleasant so whoever I’m staying with ideally should be able to go 6-8hrs between potty breaks! About: I have always had pets in the home. I believe animals are like children. I volunteer part time at prarie paws animal shelter in ottawa to share my love for pets. I train all of my own pets and am able to handle large dogs, difficult leash walkers, and provide mentally stimulating activities. I work 5 minutes from home. On week days I go home for my lunch to care for the animals in my care. The animals will only have to go up to 4 hours during the day without interaction. During this time they will be supervised via a monitor in the room. We are a multi pet home. We have 2 dogs, 1 cat, 3 fish tanks, and even chickens. We love animals! Your pet will have his or her own private suite in our home which includes a bed, Kennel, toys, blanket etc. We provide activities that will help mentally stimulate your pet and ease their anxiety. The upper level of our home is where your pet will be housed, away from the other animals to prevent any conflicts that may occur and reduce any anxiety that may come with unfamiliar animals. We are able to take up to 2 pets. This number is decided on the amount of private space we are able to provide your pet. 2 rooms are available.

About: Between Elijah and Sarah, we have taken care of 5 personal pets, including puppies and big dogs. We have a border collie/lab mix who would love to have a friend around to play with! We have a large fenced in backyard perfect for a dog who loves to run. If you have a larger dog who is friendly and good with cats this is the perfect home for your dog to stay! We have a strict one-client policy so you have the guarantee your pets will be the only ones staying with us.
