“Chloe was a fantastic house sitter for us when we went out of town recently. She was very communicative and sent us plenty of pics and updates about our pups. Our pups loved her! She cleaned up after herself before she left and we came home to a tidy home, which we appreciated. I highly recommend Chloe!”

“Jennifer was excellent! She sent kept in touch and sent pictures throughout the stay. We have three dogs and they can be handful but she wrangled them without issue. Will definitely book her again.”

“Nyah did a wonderful job with our two dogs while we were out of town. Everyone was happy and healthy upon our return and the house was in great shape. We will definitely be calling Nyah again.”

“Jenna was very warm and my dogs liked her instantly. One of my dogs can be very shy but he really liked her. She was very easy to work with and communicated well. I will definitely have her take care of my dogs again.”

About: I have had a German Shepard growing up. I had the responsibility of feeding, walking, grooming and teaching him basic tricks and commands. My sister has a corgi who I have cared for, and loved for many years now. We love to go on walks together and play fetch. I follow directions very well and dogs really do love me. I have experience with new born puppies and dogs less then one year. I know about puppy tendencies and handle them well. I am comfortable around big dogs, small dogs, three legged dogs, all the pups are my favorites. I am free all days Tuesday and Wednesday, and Mondays evenings. I am visiting the area for the entire month with family and would love to spend some time with some lovely pets!! And make some money 😉 I cannot take care of pets in my own home, but would feel comfortable being in their usually space with them, hopefully having stuff to play with them with!
“Our original house sitter (not from Rover) cancelled about a week away from departure. Because of the timing there were no kennel options (we don't do cheap with the babies), and Rover past sitters were all unavailable. Stephen came up with no previous jobs in this area but seemed ok on the site. So with our previous good experiences with Rover we decided to give him a try. He came over for about an hour the day after we picked him to meet the doggies and find out about the house which is large with a lot of automation. By the end of that meeting we were comfortable with his abilities. While we were away, he checked in with us daily, sent pictures and asked good questions on things that I had forgot to mention. The doggies took to him right away and ate well (one gets finnicky if he is worried) while having a good time with him. We always tell house sitters to make themselves at home and have never had a problem with the condition of the house when we returned. Stephen was no exception, he left the house clean, vacuumed, dishes clean and left the bedding as instructed by my wife. One of our dogs is very good at escaping and runs across roads, through yards and can get lost. Stephen apparently had no problems keeping Henry busy but, on a leash, outside of the house as observed on the outdoor Ring cameras during walks. We (including the doggies) look forward to seeing him again. We would highly recommend him for your consideration.”

“Jennifer did a good job taking care of our pets and was very communicative. She did a few things that were above-and-beyond which was really appreciated for such a short trip.”

“Anna was the best with our pups! They are a lot to handle with 3 of them but she did amazing. She arrived on time when she said she would and provided updates and lots of pictures throughout her overnight stay. We will definitely book with Anna again!”

“Kattie was incredible! We had a last minute family emergency and she came to help. My dogs have absolutely loved her. I have several special needs dogs with meds needed. She was comfortable and great with administering them. We got daily pictures which helped out our minds at ease. If you need a great person that goes above and beyond for your pups this is your lady. Thanks again Kattie.”
About: I have owned and taken care of pets ever since I was 9 years old. I have trained my last 3 dogs that I have and two of them live with me now. I also make homemade dog treats for my two babies so I know exactly what it is they are consuming. I am a part time baker and work mostly during the mornings so I would be able to see your pet in the morning before i have work and be able to come home a little after lunchtime to take them out, take them on walks/runs. I can also be there overnight to insure their safety and keep them from making a mess. I have a fenced in back yard and two very friendly dogs. one is 3 years old and the other is almost 1. I have a big back yard so enough room for the dogs to run around and have fun playing with one another! I love taking dogs out for walks. I know not everyone has a fenced in back yard or one in general so taking dogs on walks and allowing them to get out there and blow off some energy. I also make homemade dog treats for my animals so I know they aren't consuming things that can cause health problems down the road. I also have allergy tested both my dogs so that way I know what treats I am making them are for their consumption.

About: Hi! I have lived in Huntsville since 2020. I am an Engineer at NASA at Marshall Space Flight Center. I played soccer at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. I love to be active and outdoors as much as possible. I’m a lifelong animal lover with 5+ years of dog walking and dog sitting experience outside of Rover. I’ve owned pets my entire life and truly miss having one of my own—but since I currently work a 9–5 office job, I joined Rover as a way to reconnect with my love for caring for animals. I live a very active lifestyle and am always happy to tailor care to each dog’s individual needs—whether that means long walks, runs, playtime, or a calmer routine for dogs who prefer a slower pace. I prioritize what’s best for your dog’s energy level, comfort, and routine, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’d love the opportunity to care for your dog and give them plenty of attention, exercise, and love while you’re away! I’m available for dog sitting on weekends, and for dog walking on weekdays in the early mornings (5:00–7:30 AM) or after 4:30 PM. On weekends, my schedule is very flexible, allowing for longer walks, multiple visits, or extra playtime as needed. I plan my routine around each dog’s needs to make sure they get consistent care, attention, and exercise. I’ve lived in the Huntsville area for nearly 6 years and am very familiar with local parks, trails, and pet-friendly spots. I own a townhome in Providence. The neighborhood is quiet and pet-friendly with access to the Indian Creek Greenway, which is perfect for long walks and outdoor time. My home also includes a backyard with a tall fence, providing a safe space for play and exercise. I have some dog toys, a sprinkler, and leashes but would expect the owner to provide food, bathing materials if needed, and other pet-specific items.
