About: My earliest memories are of playing with dogs. As an adult I love my kitties and will care for any furry, scaley or feathered friends. Every day I care for my dog and 4 cats. The trip to the nearby park is a routine where I find refuge. I have flexibility with my work schedule and can make most times fit. I have a fenced yard where pets can roam free without fear of antagonism or being set loose in the neighborhood. I give each memeber of the clan daily attention and individual care.

I currently work full-time Monday through Friday, but my flexible schedule—combining remote and on-site work—allows me to provide dependable care for your dog throughout the week. Your pet’s needs are important to me, and I’m committed to making sure they’re never left without care for too long. The longest your dog would ever be alone is approximately 6 hours at a time, and I always make sure they’re comfortable, safe, and settled before I step out. I’m located on a half-acre lot that offers plenty of room for your dog to run, sniff, and explore. While the yard is not fenced, your dog will never be left unattended. I’m always outside with them or have them securely attached to a long lead, giving them the freedom to roam safely. I make sure your pup has plenty of shade, fresh water, and anything else they need to stay comfortable and happy while outdoors. Whether they’re high-energy or just want to sunbathe, they’ll have a safe and enjoyable space to do it. When it’s time to rest, I offer both a large and a medium crate, depending on your dog’s needs. I'm happy to crate your pet if that’s part of their routine, or they’re welcome to sleep openly in our home with us—whatever helps them feel most at ease. I share my home with one medium-sized, well-behaved dog who loves meeting new canine friends. He’s friendly, gentle, and enjoys having buddies to play or relax with. I also have an outdoor cat who mostly keeps to herself and doesn’t typically interact with visiting pets. Your dog’s safety and comfort will always come first, and I’ll make sure any introductions are slow, supervised, and stress-free. If I’m providing drop in visits for your pet in your home, you can count on me to provide daily walks, potty breaks, playtime, feeding, medication (if needed), and plenty of love and attention. I’m happy to follow your pet’s routine closely and provide any additional care or accommodations you or your pet may need. My goal is to make their time away from you feel as normal and stress-free as possible.

“Last year Sweet Pea had to stay a week at the dog kennel which left her a nervous wreck. What a difference this year! After over 2 weeks with McKenna, but in her familiar surrounding and routine, she behaved totally normal. As is typical for cats, Smidgen kitty was a little shy for a few days, but then warmed up to McKenna for play and petting. McKenna kept our house and yard in good shape as well. When problems arose with the animals or our old house, McKenna contacted me how I wanted her to handle it, then did it without hesitation. When my wife was longing to see Sweet Pea, McKenna even drove our dog to/from the rehab facility a couple of times. McKenna is very compassionate with animals and humans alike. I would definitely hire her again.”

About: Whether it be walks to parks, dropping in or even staying with your fur babies… I’m your person. Don’t hesitate to reach out to me if you have questions! I work 6:30am to 2:30pm Monday through Friday here in North SLC, I can easily come in the mornings during lunch breaks in north Salt lake and anytime after work or on the weekends in the Ogden area. I am available for house stays. I can travel from North Salt Lake all the way up to Willard and everything in between. Don’t hesitate to ask! I have pretty large house, with a large sized yard and can accommodate but I’d rather come and visit your fur baby in the comfort of their own home. I find that it helps keep your fur baby stress free being in their own environment that they are use to and feel safe in.

About: We are excited to be back watching dogs after maternity leave. We have always had dogs growing up and quickly got our own once married. He is 7 years old and we love going on long hikes, to the lake, and settling down for some evening snuggles! We have two little girls who are obsessed with dogs and ready to play! We have watched dogs through Rover for 3 years now and absolutely love the experience! We are currently a stay at home mom/ remote workers so I would be home with the pet all day except for a few hours at a time if we go to run errands. Your dog will be in the home with us like our own pet! We only kennel if that is the dogs normal home routine Our yard is currently only fenced with a temporary 4 foot fence as we have just built our home so We can currently only take dogs who are safe being let out to the bathroom and to have supervised play time in that setting.

About: I’ve probably been taking care of dogs longer than 8 years! I’ve dog sat multiple dogs in my home for friends and family and also just looked after some while I’ve babysat various families children! I’m doing job searching right now for the summer so I’m pretty open to whenever you need for the most part! Just looking to get a few part time jobs for the summer! I have a fenced in backyard, plenty of space for your pups to play free. We have 2 cats but they do their own thing and won’t be a problem. They don’t like dogs but they won’t hurt them haha they just stay away. I make sure that your pups will always have the best care and attention! I love playing fetch the most!

About: I have had dogs in my household for all of my life and enjoy the joy and companionship they can bring. I have also been working at a daycare and boarding facility for about 7 months, from this job I have a lot of experiences with different breeds and personalities and have learned how to fit all types of dogs needs. This job has also allowed me to experience things like helping with taking care of all ages of dogs and any medical needs (administer medications, insulin, etc) injuries, comforting dogs, grooming, etc. I’m currently working a full time job but only have shifts of about 6 hours. My schedule depends week to week but with my length of shifts i will have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I am willing to take care of whatever needs your dogs have whether it is lots of playing or just wanting someone to sit with. I also will make sure your dogs space and self is clean. As well as that they get all that they may need.

About: I have experience with animals through working with a vet clinic as a dog Groomer my priority was making the pets as comfortable as possible I currently work part time as a receptionist at a Beauty salon Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday usually 4 hour shift other than that my schedule is pretty open I have a fenced in yard in a safe neighborhood. I very friendly dog that would love you play and keep your dog company. I also previously worked at a vet clinic doing grooming so I work well with dogs and understand their body language and have patience with making a dog feel welcomed and comfortable.
