About: Hey I'm Kate! I am a professional dog groomer for over 15 years now and have always loved to care for animals. I personally have 3 dogs, a labradoodle, golden doodle and bichon-poo. (Hence the title) Caring for dogs has always meant alot to me, senior ones especially. I grew up as an only child so my dogs were my best friends and were the absolute world to me! Nothing compares to the love and loyalty of a pup. 💜 Most week days I am free after 3. I have more open availability on Sundays and Mondays. Some early mornings would also be available with enough notice I am a home owner with a fully fenced in backyard with plenty of grass to lounge around on :) All three of my dogs have been socialized since they were puppies, I brought each one back and forth to the groom shop with me so they had the opportunity to meet all kinds of dogs (and humans)

“Elizabeth was absolutely amazing. Not only did she care for my animals but she treated them as they were her own. Before I left for my trip she told me “don’t worry they’re in good hands”. She didn’t lie when she said that. If I need a dog sitter again I will be contacting her!”

About: I have been taking care of animals for majority of my life, where I had labs, english springer spaniels, many cats, and ferrets. During high school, I had two jobs that related to animal care, where I had worked at a dog walking place, and a Veterinary Hospital. During my time at the dog walking place, where I worked there during the summer of 2023 and 2024, I had walked dogs, taught them basic commands, and much more. At the Veterinary Hospital, I mainly helped with cleaning, although when needed, I helped restrain animals, distract them when getting vaccines, and much more. I am also a certified veterinary assistant. Lastly, during my high school career, where my high school had an Agri-Science program, I had helped with cleaning animal cages of many species, such as ferrets, birds, chinchillas, rabbits, and much more, along with running their doggy daycare. I’m currently working Monday-Friday in the morning/early afternoon but I would love to walk your furry friends in the evenings (anytime after 3:30) and weekends. I live in a quiet neighborhood with a large yard. I always ensure animals are playing safely and do not get injured. I think every animal needs a close eye on them to prevent any injuries:)

“Francis has given us a great introduction to using Rover! She was helpful, communicative, and reliable. The meet & greet went well, and she followed through with our instructions attentively during each drop in visits. I would highly recommend working with Francis!”

About: I've been rescuing animals, caring for friends PETS and I have my own pets for years. I love all animals and I love to help others care for theirs. I am off Tuesdays, I'm free after 5 pm most evenings and I'm free most weekends. Flexible as long as it's in or around the neighborhood. I have experience house sitting/pet sitting in my friends homes for years. I'm comfortable feeding pets and giving medications if necessary. Also fine with cleaning up messes.

About: I don’t have my own pet anymore as he passed from old age. I like to take care of other people’s pets when they are on vacation and care for them with as much love as if they were my own. I will stay at your home if needed , schedule potty break services as well. I work at an elementary school so let out before I go to work and right after, evenings and bed time. I will take care of pets in clients home with care plan that fits the pets needs. Give them plenty of attention and care to take away any worries when you are away.

“Nicole was absolutely great with the two bigs doggos that can be a handful. Super informative and responsive. Will be booking Nicole again! Definitely recommend if you’d like to feel at ease while away.”

“Kourtney was great! I appreciate her communication with me while caring for my cats.”

About: I have had dogs since I was 8 years old and I truly enjoy all the warmth and love a dog brings into a home. I have taken in senior dogs (10+) over the years and had extensive experience with blind, and deaf senior dogs. I have experience with incontinence, mobility issues, special dietary needs, medication injections, and palliative care. I also have experience with young puppies (under 6 months) along with experience doing dog training with my own dogs throughout my life. Both me and my husband have transitioned to remote work so we are home throughout the day, which is excellent for senior dogs who need extra care. I have a partially fenced in yard and live close to several hiking trails. Depending on your dogs needs, the amount of time between potty breaks can be adjusted as well as the amount of exercise given throughout the day. Dogs are all fed separately while water is available at all times. I do have a 3 year old rat terrier (19 pounds) who loves any and all dogs she meets - she has been around many senior dogs.

“Ashley was very kind and communicative. I was so worried about leaving my anxious cat alone, but Ashley was so patient with her and I’m sure she was in great hands!”

About: I have always been an animal lover, having multiple cats, dogs, chickens and taking care of the animals on my aunt’s farm since I was a child. I work at a doggy daycare which has enhanced my knowledge of different breeds energy levels, mannerisms and needs as they grow older. I would love to give your furry kids all the fun, love and care they would otherwise miss while you are away! I’m currently working part time so I’ll have plenty of time to give your furry kids lots of love and attention! I’m available on the weekends, mornings 7-11am and at night after 6:30pm and offer overnight care everyday. I will follow any instructions or suggestions you give me and always respect your home. If you have a fenced in yard I will let your kids run wild, if not, I will happily take them on a 30 min walk minimum and play with them lots afterward so they get a good exercise! I will give them lots if attention and kisses and send you pictures of them living their best life!

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is trying to be every dogs best friend. I've taken care puppies to senior dogs. (Bathing, Feeding, Walking). I am currently available (Monday-Sunday). There is no time limit meaning I can watch the dogs early morning hours, afternoon, evening and even over night! I care for pets in my clients home by respecting the owners wishes. For example I had a client request their dog stay downstairs so the dog stayed downstairs. Also following their regular schedule.

About: I grew up with all kinds of animals. If they have four legs, I pretty much enjoyed to be around. Zoos are my place to experience all breeds of life. I currently work from home. This has allowed me to have all the time needed to bond with pets. I also enjoy my 3 acres of space. I want to have it used by any pet who loves to roam outside. Just alot of space to entertain pets. My yard is not all fenced in. However its away from any sort of traffic. Very quite and alot of pet friendly homes. I can assure to put safety first at all cost.

About: I've had cats since I was about 4 years old, and trained my own service dog (adopted as a senior from a pound) from 2016-2023, when she sadly passed. I've taken care of a range of pets belonging to family, friends, and family's friends and coworkers. I can handle pets of all ages, from kittens/puppies to senior animals, as well as working on training and house-breaking. I'm currently only working part-time with very few hours, so pet care is honestly how I'd like to spend my spare time and make my income. I'm very focused on the details of individual pet's care. I always make sure I understand the feeding schedules and amounts, how often the animals need to go outside, whether they can be off-leash in a fenced in area or if they need to be on an outside line or on a leash, whether or not cats go on walks, and I'm very careful to not leave human food around for them to get into. I always ask as many questions as possible to make sure I provide the best care for the pets I'm looking after.

About: I offer 4 to 8 week walk & train programs, up to 5 days per week (no Mondays or Fridays) according to your schedule. Your dog will learn or improve: - Loose leash walking - Impulse control - Basic obedience (sit, down, stay, leave it, come, look, touch) - Fetch (if environment allows) All training programs are catered to your wants and needs and your dog's personality. No matter your situation, your pup will be tired mentally and physically after every session. At the end of the training program I'll hold a one on one training session with you so you can see my methods and what we've worked on. I guarantee you will see improvement or your money back! I'm currently available every day except Mondays and Fridays, rain or shine. I live in Preston with my beautiful wife and two pups and am proud to serve my local area. I am experienced with all kinds of dogs and training methods. In addition to professional training, I am a volunteer trainer and member of the Behavior Modification Squad at the Connecticut Humane Society, where I work almost exclusively with difficult and/or reactive dogs. As such, I am equipped to handle situations that most walkers / trainers are not. I am serious about safety. Unless you have a tall fenced in yard, I will never let your pup out off leash. If I'm not comfortable with your leash or collar I might use my own slip lead with a safety stopper. I am an excellent communicator and will make sure you are satisfied from start to finish. I'll also ensure that you are comfortable with my methods in general (I prefer to use balanced methods but can use purely positive if you prefer). I'm flexible to meet your needs!

“Jocelyn was great! She was as able to come to our house last minute and gave our pups and cat lots of play and attention. I will definitely contact her again.”

Kathryn has always had a passion for animals and took very good care of her own cat, I remember being at work and she would check in on her cat through the camera she set up for her. She would also go back to her house in Norwich from Foxwoods during her lunch break to check in on her cat. Kathryn currently works for All Bright Canines and is with animals on a daily base. She is in college as well online, very well rounded. I trust Kathryn to take care of my animals and she is going to be taking care of my two dogs when I go away on vacation!”
