I’ve owned and managed a giant breed with specific behavioral and care needs, so I understand how to handle dogs that require extra patience, structure, and attention. I am very comfortable reinforcing training, including basic commands, boundaries, and consistency with routines. I know how important it is to maintain the rules and expectations you’ve set for your pet, not undo them. I am also attentive to each animal’s individual personality and needs, whether that means providing calm companionship, structured activity, or simply making sure they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. Pet care fits into my routine primarily on weekends, when I have the time to provide focused, attentive care. I already structure my days around caring for my own pets, so I am very comfortable maintaining feeding schedules, routines, and giving pets the attention they need. Because I work full time and attend school during the week, my availability is limited to weekends for dogs but can do daily cat drop-ins. During that time, I am reliable, consistent, and able to give pets quality care through drop-in visits, walks, feeding, and check-ins. I tailor my care based on each pet’s routine and needs. For drop-in visits and walks, I focus on maintaining consistency with feeding schedules, bathroom breaks, exercise, and any specific instructions you provide. I also make sure pets get attention and interaction, not just the basics, so they feel comfortable while you’re away. In my home, I provide a structured but relaxed environment. My own dog follows a routine with scheduled feeding, playtime, and rest, including crate time for sleeping, so I am comfortable maintaining similar routines for other dogs if needed.
