“Jen and Louis saved the day and came through for me and my chiweenie Willar when I really needed a sitter who understands my senior pup's needs. Willar has dietary restrictions and some quirks, and Jen was attentive, followed all the instructions for Willar's routine, and she asked very thoughtful questions. Additionally, her dog Louis is so welcoming and sweet. They really helped with some transitions I'm going through and were very accommodating.”

“They are absolutely amazing. Piper had such a great time with them in Maverick.I would recommend them to anyone and will be one of my first choices for any future booking needs!!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all breeds and personalities for over 6 years! From playful puppies to senior sweethearts, I treat every pup like family. I’m confident handling multiple dogs at once, administering medications if needed, and making sure each pet feels safe, loved, and well-exercised. My experience includes walking, bathing, feeding, and even a bit of basic training for good manners and leash behavior! I currently work from home, which gives me lots of flexibility to give your pup the love and attention they deserve! Your dog will get personalized care, cuddles, and plenty of playtime when they’re with me. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities! I live in a quiet, pet-friendly neighborhood with a fenced-in dog park for both small and large dogs—perfect for playtime! Your pup will have great company with my sweet 11-year-old West Highland Terrier who is easy going loves making new friends. I always supervise interactions and make sure every dog feels safe, relaxed, and at home.

About: I have 4 years of experience as a reliable and caring dog walker, providing daily walks, exercise, and companionship for dogs of all breeds and sizes. I prioritize each pet’s safety, well-being, and routine, and have built strong relationships with both pets and their owners through consistent, trustworthy care. I am a recent grad school graduate and I am available to walk your dog when it fits your schedule. I have a flexible schedule to help walk, watch and care for your dog but I am mainly available during the weekdays. I care for the dogs I watch as if they were my own—making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable at all times. I follow their individual routines, including feeding, walking, and any special instructions from their owners. I provide plenty of playtime, attention, and affection, and I always monitor their behavior to ensure they're happy and healthy. Whether it’s a quick walk or extended pet-sitting, I aim to create a stress-free experience for both the dogs and their owners.

“Abigail was incredible! It was my first time using Rover for the “doggy day care” and I’m definitely sticking with it. Abigail kept me posted throughout the day with personalized updates. Boba and Mila got along so well! I always feel a bit anxious leaving Mila behind while I’m at work, but I felt so much better knowing she was in Abigail’s care. I’m so grateful it worked out, and I’ll definitely be using her again!”

“Kathryn was great with Jasper. He played with her dog and had a nice walk. Probably got a bit spoiled as well. Definitely will be using Kathryn again in the near future.”

When we get to their door, his tail is wags a mile a minute!”

About: Experienced, energetic, attentive and loving dog mom, who has raised several much loved and well cared for dogs over the years with my adult children. I will walk your fur baby in my Old Town, very walkable neighborhood, every 2-4 hours, providing lots of love and care😊 I am planning for an early retirement with the Dept of State. I live in a modern condo, located in Old Town, Alexandria. I am available for doggie daycare and boarding in my home, Monday - Sunday. I have lots of green space right outside my door and a park across the street. We will take neighborhood strolls, and hit the dog park. I will provide treats throughout the day and evening - providing photos along the way. I have blankets, doggie beds, games, toys and a crate, if needed. I will do my best to follow current habits you have established in your home for consistency. I do not have any pets at home. Tender care and safety are my number one concern. I will only board 2 dogs at a time, the only possible exception would be d/o & p/u overlap. I have lots of green space right outside my door and a park across the street, perfect for free play! Also will provide a discount for long term boarding, (1 month or more).

“Erin watched our dog Theo during the day when we all had to be out of our house. Erin was a wonderful host and very communicative! Theo had a great time playing with Erin’s dog and we were so happy that we booked another stay immediately! Highly recommend Erin!”

“KIMBERLY IS THE BEST!!! She took the most amazing care of my pup Casper yesterday. He came home happy, tired, and with a huge smile on his face. She was super communicative and an awesome sitter. Not to mention the pictures she shared — she should become a pet photographer!”

“Nina was great! We were on vacation and had a last minute change of plans. Nina responded quickly to our inquiry and was able to accommodate us last minute. She took great care of Shadow! I would use her again if we’re ever back in DC ?”

About: As a pet-owner and rover-user myself, I know how important it is to have someone you can trust take care of your pets when you aren't available. I am passionate about giving dogs happy highlights to each and every day, and I love to play with them and take them on long walks to sniff and enjoy the outdoors. As a work-from-home employee, I am often free during work hours to pay your pet a visit or take them on a nice walk to help break up the day while you are away! I can be free on evenings and weekends as well, and would be happy to spend time playing with your pet and giving them happy moments each and every day while they wait for you to return. My dog loves to play indoors, which means I am extra vigilant that the house is safe for him should he get zoomies and run around the furniture. I would be careful to provide that safe environment for your dog as well, in your home or mine.

About: Hello from Del Ray! I currently have a 7 year old greyhound, named Wren. One of the reasons I live where I do is because I wanted her to have a fenced in yard to wander around, and a walkable neighborhood for her 3x a day walks. In terms of dog care experience, I grew up with greyhounds, German shepherds and labs. I know how nerve wracking it is to entrust the care of your pup to someone else, so I promise to treat them like my own and keep them safe and happy! I currently work from home for a small business, so my schedule is very flexible during the week. I can easily pop out for walks when needed. I live in a house with a fenced in yard, so if your pup likes to hang out outside, there is space for that. I do not leave dogs out in the yard unsupervised, so if they are outside, that means I am too! Also my dog, Wren, ranges from friendly to ambivalent when it comes to other dogs. She is a 7 year old greyhound, so she will likely sniff them, and then go and lay down somewhere. :) But don't worry, even so, I would not leave an unfamiliar dog alone with another -- I will always be in the room with them.

“Our dog, Cactus, had a great time with Jessie and Erick and their dog, Charlie. Cactus came home very tired from playing all day. They sent great photos on her Rover card and were very responsive and easygoing. We’d love to book again.”

Every time we spoke while he was with her, she would tell me about the new toys/ treats she’d gotten him, or how she’d trained him to do something new! She has a deep love for animals and she is so good with dogs. She is gentle and caring, and there is no one I’d trust more to care for my dog or anyone else’s!!”

“Jackson was great with my dog. He’s a total attitude Westie and Jackson took him for a great walk and adventure through the park. He even sat with him for a bit afterwards so he would eat his food. My dog doesn’t like to eat when alone in the house so it was nice to know he was so patient with him.”
