About: I have worked with so many different breeds over the years, including English Setters, Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, Pembroke Welsh Corgis, Bernese Mountain Dogs, Leonbergers, Siberian Huskies, Newfoundlands, Flat-Coated Retrievers, Doberman Pinschers, Vizslas, Keeshonds, Berger Picards, Standard Poodles, Miniature Poodles, and Toy Poodles, 1 have also shown Spinoni Italianos, Whippets, Rough Collies, Smooth Collies, Borzois, and Basset Hounds and more! For training I should be able to fit 3-4 trainings in a day. For walking it will depend on how long the walk is and how far I would need to travel to get to the dog I'm walking. I'm freer during the week however I can do some weekends! If I am taking care of pets in someone else home, I like to have a list of requirements from the owner. I want to make sure the pets are correctly taken care of perfectly to what the owners wants. I am an amazing direction follower and will perform tasks that are asked of me efficiently. If I am caring for someone's dog in my own home, the dogs will be feed twice a day or more if asked by the owner, dogs will always have access to fresh water and shade. Toys will be provided however if the owners wants to bring their own toys that is always allowed. Dogs will be allowed to socialize with my dogs if the owner is okay with that of course! If the dog is not allowed around others they will be provided with a private space that keeps that calm and happy!

“Caroline was very responsive in each interaction, enthusiastic and absolutely reliable. Besides that, she won over our very, very shy cat, took lots of sweet photos and will be asked back whenever we have a need for a top-notch caregiver. We could not have been happier.”

About: I started dog walking at 7 years old. I lived on a farm with 4 big sheep dogs and a Boston terrier. There have been many dogs in the family since then but now I have a 100 pound American Bulldog that I love to call mine. This past year I fostered another 100 pound American Bulldog that was previously abused till I found his forever home. I am passionate about animals! I will love your pet like they are my own. I love meeting new dogs , just like how I love meeting new people! They are all so different and vary in personalities, it's so fun! Trust in me that I will be patient, caring and over all fun for your pet!

“Christine took care of our three cats (two of them seniors with special needs) and budgie for two days and did a great job. In addition to getting all the details right, she was able to give sub-cutaneous fluids to one cat, which was great! Very attentive and kind. Would recommend!”

“Eleanor took wonderful care of my cat. In addition to making sure he was fed according to instructions, she gave him lots of attention and play time. And I received very detailed reports about how each visit went. I wouldn't hesitate to use Eleanor's services again.”

About: I loved dogs before I was born thinking I was one as a child and had many growing up naturally being emotionally tuned in to them. I took special care of 2 labs for a decade one from puppy other into senior along with sitting and helping for friends and family. I have also cared for rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, and farm animals of chickens and turkeys. I have a knack for following detailed instructions and open understanding to all unique pet parents an their furry families needs with full compassion and support. I am more than flexible and can accommodate most needs and am working part time elsewhere with short shifts that we can discuss further during meet and greet that also has some flexibility. I mindfully and responsibly follow all desired needs along with my own intuitive guidance as I get to know your pets. I take initiative and value my integrity of all beings left in my care to be loved and nurtured as my own with high respect to people's homes. I enjoy physical activity and believe it sustains life looking forward to walks in neighborhoods, parks, and the beach.

About: I have grown up with animals my whole life. I currently live in Port Townsend WA. Which is a lovely place to have a dog. There are many trails and parks and beaches! I have come and gone traveling because of ballet my whole life but it has never stopped me from needing a dog or cat nearby. I have volunteered at the Oregon Humane society and many other clinics in Washington. At one time my family had 6 cats and two dogs! The reason why I am so interested in helping with your furry friends is because I truly love animals. I love them more than people sometimes :) (All the time) I have full availability almost always because I am a full time painter and artist. Not only would I take care of your pets but would also take care of your garden and home. Green thumb indeed right here! I have just so much experience with animals and I would love to meet you and your dog, cat, rabbit, lizard, snake, or any pet friend! I am a full time artist and self employed bike messanger for Uber eats. I am able to make my own schedule and be with your pets all day and night if need be! I have a small dog crate and a large crate if needed. I am also known to cook gourmet meals for your dog or cat! And of course lots of water and always monitoring if it's clean and of course lots of potty breaks. If your pet is staying with me I also have a roommate that is here every evening. So extra love and attention. Oh, and just being present and cuddly in general of course!

About: My name is Tyler and I'm a lifelong dog lover. Having spent the last few decades of my life with Saint Bernards, I have a special affinity for Giant Breeds, but love all creatures great and small. I spent 3 years in the Pet Industry (With Ruffwear, a manufacturer of high quality outdoor gear for dogs) and have experience with puppies, adults, and senior dogs, including the infirm and partially paralyzed. I'm a health conscious, active and compassionate individual and would be honored by the opportunity to help care for your friends in your absence. Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to assisting you. Cheers! I co-own and operate two small businesses here in Port Townsend: Fishboat Media and Cold Pizza Creative. Both permit me to dictate my own schedule and work fully remote, allowing me ample free time to help care for your furry friend. Like their human counterparts, each dog is unique, and I approach caring for them with this in mind. A combination of intuition, experience, and good communication with our clients and their owners ensures an active, engaged, compassionate experience.

“Ari has done drop-in and overnight stays with our very shy large dog. She’s been very reliable and kind, and our home is always immaculate when we return. Hope to book with her many times again in the future!”

About: I love all animals and grew up taking care of all sorts of pets, however dogs hold the biggest piece of my heart. My wonderful pup, Bentley, recently went over the rainbow 🌈 after 13 amazing years together and there’s been a little piece of me missing ever since. Let me love on your dog when you can’t! We will definitely be helping each other out ❤️🥰 I work from home and can be around most of the time your pet is in my care. I love to play and go on walks. My schedule is very flexible and I can accommodate your pet, whatever the need. When they are with me, they are welcome on the couch and bed or I will follow any instructions to keep your fur baby on their normal regimen. Every animal has different needs and I will make sure they feel comfortable and are well cared for. I am familiar with aggressive breeds and know how to handle all kinds of situations. I’ve also had a senior pet that required medicines and special foods. Whatever kind of care your pet needs, I can assure you I will treat them like my own. I generally only sit 1-3 dogs at a time (dependent on size) since I live in an apartment, however I will take them out often to make sure they get enough exercise and I will smother them with love if they will let me! If you have more then 3 dogs or any questions on how many dogs will be here with yours, please reach out! I will try to accommodate wherever I can.

About: —~> Ask about Farm Animal Care <~— Spending time with animals is a gift. It is a joy to meet new furry friends and give them extra love while their caretakers are out adventuring or working. I love to go for walks on the beach or in the woods. I like to chase sunsets and sunrises. All of which are more enjoyable with sweet creatures. I adore giving affection and opportunities to play for both cats and dogs. I have tended to a variety of different types of animals over the years. Some need ample one on one attention. Which I accommodate by giving them solo walks and separate meal times when requested. Others who loved to be social or had other animal roommates that needed plenty of outdoor time. Elder cats and dogs who needed extra special care, medication, fluids, and special diets. Dog and cat drop ins can make a world of difference for an animal navigating extended time away from their people/person. I give them all focused attention, consideration, bonding interactions and love. Dog walks are a vital key to their health and well being. It takes a village to tend to our critters too! Human and animal. I have many special spots for them to enjoy throughout the Olympic Peninsula. Including safe off leash areas when requested. I have a 5 year old dog, Hoodi. She does not come with me for cat or dog drop ins. Dog walks can include her company or not, always at your discretion. She does join me for overnight pet sitting and loves other dogs. She tends towards submissive and loves to chase and play. She is very mellow indoors and enjoys watching the activity of others. Throughout her life she has helped with pet sits. For her first four years of life she lived with two other dogs. She is a great addition to any pack. I have experience farm sitting which includes plant watering of green house, gardens, field and pasture. As well as goat milking, poultry care, and feeding of cows, horses, goats and pigs. Feel free to message me in booking about pricing for full time/part time farm care. Please note my pet sitting is limited to the Olympic Peninsula. I will do pet sitting in Port Townsend, Discovery Bay, Sequim, Blyn, Port Ludlow, Brinnon, Port Gamble, Quilcene, Chimacum, Port Hadlock, Irondale, Marrowstone Island, and occasionally Port Angeles, Joyce, Forks, and Queets. I prefer extended house sits and like to build solid bonds with animals. I prioritize repeat clients. I have additional references outside of Rover. As many of my clients book me via word of mouth. This profile gives ease of access to my calendar. I currently work seasonally teaching arts based school break kids camps and afterschool programing on the Olympic Peninsula. I spend the rest of my time making art from home and adventuring outdoors. This means I can have extended quality time with your pet(s) for walks and/or outdoor play and indoor care. I believe maintaining routines and exercise is important for the physical and emotional well being of all animals. I will strive to uphold this and adapt my schedule as best as I can for your pet(s). I enjoy taking the time to communicate with you about your desires, concerns, texting check ins and sending sweet photos for your peace of mind. As every pet is an important family member. I know them to be kin.

About: I've had dogs and cats in my life since I was young, and pet-sitting and dog-walking was one of the earliest ways I earned money as a kid. Animals make sense to me; I know how to communicate with them, and how to listen to what they need, no matter how nervous or neurotic they are. I'm currently working from home as a podcaster, so my schedule is very flexible., especially during the day. I can do my work from anywhere, so if I house-sit I can spend all day long with your furry friends. I'm familiar with the challenges of walking dogs on busy paths or along heavily trafficked streets, so I know how to keep them safe. In the home, I'm always careful to follow any instructions to the letter.

Gabriella G.
“I have seen Gabriella work with her dogs as well as many other dogs over the years. One thing that stands out is when people say, “My dog doesn’t like people” but then that dog loves her. I also have seen her listen to directions of a client that had 30 dogs, (puppies included) & then she remembered every detail and the client was more than pleased with her attention to detail. Gabby has trained too many dogs to count, worked for AKC handlers, trained her own dogs in 4-H showmanship, obedience, rally, and agility. She is a well rounded gal with many skills at her finger tips.”

Danica H.
“From the first time I met Danica she was very courteous and paid extra attention to my dog's needs when on leash. She was punctual and showed up a little early even. My pup seemed to really enjoy spending time with her because when I got home he was super happy and had clearly gotten some good excercise as he was not bouncing off the walls hyper. I highly recommend her services for anyone looking for a dog walker. ”

Shantell L.

“I have Shantell watch our 2 dogs, chickens, turkeys and house sit when we go on vacation. She is very good with our animals she treats them as her own. She is very good with written instructions/list that you want done. She is a non drinker/smoker which we like. I highly recommend her for animal/house sitting.”

Jules M.

“My lab-pit mix, Dexter, took to Jules right off the bat, in the way that a dog can instinctively sense a dog person. Jules has competently and lovingly cared for Dexter, walking him, taking him to the dog park, keeping him fed, and his favorite, snuggling on the sofa. Caring for a young, active dog with 70 pounds of pure muscle requires a strong and confident handler, and Jules has managed him with ease. She also loves smaller dogs, and would provide quality care for them as well. In addition to her ability to care for dogs, Jules is also a lovely, honest, and responsible person, and I highly recommend her.”

Tyler R.Star Sitter
“Tyler Rowe is among the most caring, compassionate animal lovers I've ever met. When his Saint Bernard, Boone, was aging and needed a LOT of care in his final years, Tyler prioritized and rearranged his entire life to keep Boone living his best life possible. Tyler now has another Saint Bernard, Delilah, who just might be the most loved dog I've ever known. Tyler has stayed at my home and cared for my dogs while I've traveled, and I trusted him fully to give them the best care and attention while I was away. I would recommend him to anyone for any of your animal-related questions or care!”

Arianne M.Star Sitter

“Ari has done drop-in and overnight stays with our very shy large dog. She’s been very reliable and kind, and our home is always immaculate when we return. Hope to book with her many times again in the future!”

Sierra S.
“Sierra loves dogs/animals. She recently lost her dog to cancer and she was the BEST doggy mommy! I know it would make her so happy to be able to take care of other dogs, and help other dog parents making sure their babies are taken care of when they can’t be there. She is someone you can trust in your home and with your pets! No question about that. She is extremely reliable and has so much love to give. She has the biggest heart and no one would ever have to think twice about her taking care of their pups when they aren’t home. Her own dog, Bentley, was on strict diet regiments for 7 years when he had cancer so she can also be depended on to follow strict instructions if needed. Sierra takes pride in anything she does and any owner would be lucky to have her as a Wag Caregiver.”

Mikal R.
“We were happy to find Mikal on Rover! Initially, Mikal and her dog Hoodi stopped by and met our two older border collies. Since everyone got along great, Mikal agreed to housesit and take care of our dogs for 10 days, which was a big relief to us as our dogs feel the most comfortable at home. Mikal asked what our communication preferences were and sent photos and updates every other day as we requested. It was fun to see photos of all 3 dogs together on beach walks while we were away! When we returned home, dogs were happy, clearly well taken care of, and Mikal had left the house clean and tidy. We booked them already for our next trip. HT and MW”

Andrea D.
“Andrea is a loving dog person. I've known her for many years. She used to come to my golden retrievers birthday parties. She is fun and responsible and I would let her care for my dog in a heartbeat.”
