“Let me start by saying that I was very very leery of using an online service to watch my animals as I had never done it. But a friend of mine assured me that Rover.com was safe. So I started looking at potential people to watch my animals and I came across Altira’s post. I’ve read all the reviews which were all positive and after meeting her and watching her interact with my dogs as my cats were hiding, I felt very comfortable knowing that she would be caring for them while I was away. She sent daily pictures and knowing my crew which included the cats because they finally came out which is unusual, they love her. She even went above and beyond and captured a cane frog in my yard which I’m glad she did as they are poisonous to my dogs. I will most definitely be using Allie again.”

About: I’ve been pet sitting for family and friends since 2019. Never having a fur baby of my one, I give as many belly rubs to the ones I care for to make up for it! Since I WFH, my schedule is very flexible. It’s the perfect set up for midday walks and all day belly rubs! Having a car also allows flexibility so I’m available in various locations. About: I’ve always grown up with dogs and been there to help friends, family and neighbors with their pets with 8 years of professional and personal experience. I have 4 dogs in my own household including a Great Dane mixed w/ a redbone coonhound, a dachshund mixed w/ a pit-bull, Chihuahua and a Chihuahua mixed w/ an Australian cattle hound! Plus a small rabbit! I’ve even trained my dogs to follow some ASL commands. I’m currently completing my masters program so I’d be happy to help with your dear pets and treat them with as much love as my own. Within your home I will care for your pets as according to your wishes and rules. I respect your space and the safety of your pet first and foremost so I will always handle them gently and with care. I will make sure they attend to their potty schedule as instructed and reward them if they’re still in training. I’ll clean up after them as needed and ensure they’re following a proper feeding schedule. Finally, I’ll of course make sure they receive the affection and attention they want!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats in my neighborhood. I am relied on to feed and walk them while making them feel safe always! I am currently on my summer before college and have some free time before I go, and I love to meet new animals every day. I do have a fenced in yard for my own animals so they can play and do what they want while being safe. I do not prefer fenced in yard versus walking on a leash because I feel there are benefits to both!

About: Dogs have been a part of my life since a very young age. From small breeds like Maltese to Great Danes I truly have had a great amount of experience! Moving here from Canada 5 years ago, I had to give up my career at my family owned dog boarding facility. Working there was a dream and allowed me to have extensive knowledge on how to board people’s fur babies. A day on the “farm” would include walks down our secluded trails over to the fresh water ponds that many would love to swim in. As well, I have kept track of over 20 separate dogs feeding schedules, from kibble, raw diets, allergies and even some diabetes needs. Being around dogs is like second nature to me. I am very intuitive and have been raising my own boy for half a decade now. Not only have I worked as a dog boarder before, but I also help out friends from time to time when they need a helping hand! Including cat drop in visits! My partner and I both work from home so we will be here for your pup all hours of the day. My dog and I wake up at 7:30am and get a nice walk in to start our morning. Then we come back to the house, have some breakfast, and then hangout inside. Normally we go on 2-3 walks a day and also include playtime at the park so we can get a little game of fetch in with the frisbee. I have a large crate for any size dog if needed. We allow dogs on the furniture or even in the bed for some extra cuddles if thats what your pup is used to!

About: Hi, I'm Masyn. I am a 24 year old Masters of social work student at USC. I have always been a lover of animals since before I can even remember. Currently, my family has two rescue lab mixes who are probably around 100 pounds. I also have experience with big dogs who pull on the leash when walking so that is something I'm equipped at. I love interacting with my two dogs whether that's playing fetch, hiking or giving them baths! Individually, I rescued my cat two years ago and she is an happy addition to my family :) Also, I volunteer at the animal shelter and help the cats there. I was taught on cat body language and how to engage them. I am available to walk dogs, cat sit, dog sit or just provide lots of love and attention to your pet :) I will be open all summer as I am home from college and do not have any commitments to take time away from taking care of your animal :) Keeping a consistent schedule is important as well as spending quality time engaging in play however that may look in what your animal prefers to do.
