“Sharon was great!! She came for a meet and greet with very short notice a few days before our planned visit and was very flexible with timing. On the day of her drop in, she let me know when she arrived at the house and sent me a picture of Audrey right away. Very very happy!!”

“Jason has been absolutely incredible. We needed someone to let our 2 pups out 3x a day and we were in a time crunch. This was my very first time using rover so I was a bit hesitant. Jason came and met the pups and us before booking and right away he had such a professional and mature demeanor. So happy we found Jason and will be using him again for sure!”

“Christine was fabulous. She was conscientious and took great care of our cat. She is the first cat sitter we’ve booked (of 2-3 Rover sitters) who has actually come at exactly the time we asked her, consistently. Beyond that, when our travel plans had to change because of airline problems, Christine kindly agreed to extend the booking - even though it was the holidays and I’m sure she had other obligations.”

“Sarah Z The aka "dog whisper". I have never been away before and I have two protective yet talkative yet shy 11 month old German shepards, Sarah came over and met my girls and it was like a whole new experience yet training training session in one! She is kind compassionate and so amazing with animals. I felt so at ease leaving my kids with her when I went away, I would highly recommend her to anyone! Honestly this was my first time using this app but I will always use Sarah two thumbs up and a bunch of gold stars.”

About: I have a certificate in Animal Science ,I learned dog behavior, and how to walk dogs and take care of them in a safe manner. :) I have a part time job and I can walk dogs and do drop-in visits with responsibility and care and prefer anything after 2:00 pm. I know how to properly handle and restraint a dog and know how to walk a dog the correct way,and know about food and nutrition.

About: I have grown up with different dogs my entire life. My best friend was a Rottweiler named Sampson and I had him from a pup. I create trained him as well as click trained him to become a good citizen. I have experience with large breeds as well as small. I have cared my many fur babies in this own homes, keeping them happy with conversation, brushing, play time and long walks. I feel that all breeds deserve love regardless of the negativity they may get from others who don't understand the breed. I have owned pitbulls and have found them to be loyal and loving and don't judge any animal. I have experience training my own dogs as well as freinds and family. I'm currently working PT as a home health aid and have flexibility and free time Tuesday through Saturday to walk and hangout with your beloved fur baby. I would come to your home and watch your dog, take them for a walk, snuggle, feed, play, brush and engage them with conversation and provide them love and support.

About: My earliest memories have a four legged friend running around to call my sibling. This cultivated in me a love for dogs that I carry with me every day. I have also cared for the pets of friends and others in both a personal and professional capacity. I am a graduate student in Stony Brook’s Doctorate in Physical Therapy program. I am currently on my first clinical rotation and am free to extend my care beyond patients to pets after my shifts throughout the week. When first meeting a new pet, I always bring myself to their level and allow them to come to me first. During walks, I always make sure to secure the leash around my wrist and keep every dog on the side of the street away from the road. This eliminates any unnecessary risks and places your pet’s safety at the upmost importance.

“I had an unexpected situation where I needed help with my four dogs, with barely any notice. I had never contacted Kalista before, but she came on over to meet the pack before I left for work and helped me out with them the same evening. She even got positive attention from my Chorkie, that is usually aggressive with strangers. I am so grateful that she was so flexible and helpful when I was in a tight spot. I will definitely be using her services again.”

Skylar C.
“Skylar loves pets in general but she is ridiculously punctual and commmited once she promises something. She has taken care of my dog, each time I traveled and I lived about 30 mins away. We have some strict guidelines when it comes to walking dogs and I've only been complimented by the neighbors. I would have no problem recommending her knowing how much she likes animals and how serious she follows up on her commitments.”

Chelsea H.
“Chelsea was absolutely fantastic with my senior pup. He has some issues with house breaking at this point and her consistent attention prevented any issues inside. Reptar enjoyed her down to earth energy immediately as did my wife and I. Couldn't ask for a better person to care for our pup.”

Danielle C.
“Danielle has a very kind spirit and genuinely loves animals. She is caring, responsible , dependable and intuitive. Being a very dedicated dog owner herself, she understands the need for a caregiver to be reliable, communicative , and loving. Danielle’s affinity for animals and her patience with them allow you to feel very comfortable trusting her with your pets. She has cared for my own dog on many occasions and I would recommend her without hesitation.”
