“John knew that Sadie liked to fetch tennis balls thrown with a Chuck-it, so he did that for her. Twice! In very cold weather & it hurt his shoulder. I really like that he only takes 1 dog family at a time. He treats my dog like his dog. Has a wonderful big fenced yard, during warmer weather has dog doors so they can go in & out at will. His dog Peaches is very sweet.”

About: It all started when I was 5 and my sister and I convinced our animal loving parents to add to our family, we got a golden retriever puppy and a kitten in the same year. I have never lived a day without a pet in 35 years! I have open availability. I have 2 smaller dogs and a parrot. I live in a nice, quiet neighborhood perfect for walking furry friends. Ricky and Lucy (cavapoos) love a good slumber party :) I do not have a fenced in yard. My pups know the perimeters. I do take leashed potty breaks and walks with pup visitors. I am familiar with "runners" and an capable of making sure that doesn't happen!

About: I don’t remember a time in my life when a dog wasn’t part of it, and I think they make my life more complete. I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and ages. I’m experienced with senior dogs and their unique needs. I also have had experience with dogs that have more complex medical issues (diabetes, Valley Fever, incontinence, seizures) and medications (oral pills, liquids, and even injections). I also have a fenced in yard where your dog can play…or just loll in the sun. And I have a dog friendly home where they’ll be treated like family. I work from home all day, so I’m here most of the time. I also tend to work from the couch, so your dog will be able to cuddle or get pets often. I usually feed my dogs in the AM, but I would feed your dog according to your schedule. I wouldn’t want to get them off of any routines you have. I think consistency is good for them. My home would be their home. It’s stressful enough for them to be in a new environment and out of their typical routine, so I try to make them comfortable. I also respect your rules and limitations for your dog.

About: I’ve enjoyed watching Dogs for family and friends over the years. I work from home and would be available for any of the dogs needs throughout the day. We do have one dog of our own, a corgi, named Poppy. She is a very easy going dog that is very good at matching others dog’s energy. I’m very available on weekdays and most weekends. I’m also pretty flexible with last minute changes and keeping you updated with pictures and status updates. We do not have a fenced yard, but we do have a cable line the extends the yard. I can also set up a small fence for smaller dogs, if needed. We have a beautiful Corgi that has gotten along with every dog she’s ever met.

About: I’ve had pets in my family my whole life: always dogs, a few cats over the years, a house rabbit, hamsters, ducks, fish, lizards, turtles - so many lovely creatures! I’ve worked with rescues and shelters and have taken care of elderly dogs at the end of their lifespan administering medications orally, injections, and topically. For my other job I do freelance graphic design from home and make my own schedule, so I’m very flexible with my schedule. When pet sitting at my home your pet will have my company throughout the day. I offer check ins, feeding, walking, playing, cleaning up after all pets and livestock at their home. I board dogs and caged pets overnight or for multiple days at my home where dogs have access to a fenced yard at any time of the day, full time supervision, and cozy accommodations.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs most of my life and wouldn’t have it any other way. My spouse and I absolutely love animals and taking care of furry pets that need a place to stay. We have two dogs of our own, Meringue (8 pounds, a Coton) and Moose (12 pounds, a Pekingese mix) We have taken care of dogs for friends, families, and have also fostered dogs. We believe and understand that dogs are family members and trusting them with others is a big decision. We treat our boarding experience the way we would like to receive it for our pups. We do this by providing consistent communication and updates to you (how are they’re acclimating, eating/drinking, playful, on their potty schedules, etc) and being responsive to questions. The ideal boarding situation would keeping your pups normal routines in place, just in a different setting so it doesn’t throw off their schedules completely. We strive for consistency for your furry family members in a happy, safe, and vacation like setting for them. *Note - we are accepting small to medium dogs only at this time. Max 30 pounds. Both my spouse and I work from home. We are able to accommodate and ensure the dogs are taken care of and kept to schedule. We take safety very seriously. We will not walk more than 2-3 dogs at a time. We have puppy gates and areas for them that are safe and can provide them room to roam and play. When they are outside we keep them on leash and have a watchful eye to ensure their safety.
