“Thank you for taking care of our puppy. Great detailed visit. Pictures and everything we asked for our puppy’s needs was accomplished and more! Will call again, we are regulars now!”

About: I've always loved being around animals and enjoyed making them feel comfortable and safe. People always warn me about their pets before I meet them saying they may do too much of this or that but it truly would never bother me at all. I adore animals, especially dogs, and I've even had my own dog to take of as well. I would be taking classes over the summer, but they're asynchronous so the work load is no rush and because of that I feel like I would have plenty time to take care of any pets if needed. I always make sure pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for in their usual environment. I follow any instructions closely, including feeding schedules, walk routines, medications, and house rules. During visits and walks, I pay close attention to pets’ behavior and make sure they're getting plenty of attention and care. I also make sure owners stay updated with messages and photos whenever possible.
“Amanda did a GREAT job. She is so kind and patient and loving; she managed to get my over-excited and very clingy dog out on his first walk alone with her today. This is a big step for us. Thank you Amanda!”

“Morgan was great with our Russell! Doing everything asked of her and even giving hugs and extra cuddles. I will definitely use Rover for Morgan’s assistance again and recommend to friends.”

“Great experience with Victoria and her care for Bella Mae! We were able to attend our all day events and didn’t have to worry about our doggie. Each time she checked on her, I received pictures and confirmation she was doing well and was happy! Thank you!”

“Needed someone to come do a drop in visit for our 4 month old pup as my husband and I have to return to in office work once a week. Shannon has been a tremendous help and completely understanding with our young puppy still learning social skills. Meelo is high energy and is always super excited to see Shannon and enjoys her visits!”

“Aleyah was amazing with my Puppy! He really enjoyed her checking in on him. She walked him, fed him and took the time to play with him. I'll definitely book again! Thank you so much!”

“We used Rachel for the first time this week and will definitely be continuing to book with her in the future!! Our kitty loved her and she had great communication. Highly recommend!!!”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better Rover for my girl Mindil. I have peace of mind every day that Mindil gets the love and care I would give her, while I’m away at work. Christina is super responsive and helpful and leaves the best cards for me to view after each visit. We got very lucky to have found her.”

About: I've had dogs in my life ever since I could walk! I have always loved furry friends and the joy that they bring. I've personally owned bully breeds, labradors/labradoodles, and shelties. I have cared for dogs as large as Mastiffs and as small as Yorkies. I currently own a friendly, loving, labradoodles named Beau! I'm currently a stay at home dog mama. My schedule is very flexible! I can help with walks, check ins, boarding in my home, and daycare in my home. I have 3 children ages 10,9,7 who share my love for furry friends. About: Working with animals has always been my passion. Right now I'm going to school to get my veterinary technician license. I have 2 pets of my own, Pepper and Teddy ages 8 and 6. I am currently working at a pet hospital as a veterinary assistant. We see a variety of dogs and cats, so I am comfortable around different breeds, big and small. I can provide plenty of belly ribs and TLC! I love working with puppies! It's so much fun when they come to the hospital. They are so playful and cuddly! I'm easy to get a long with. I'm a very dedicated and organized person. I would show your fur babies the love and care they deserve. I would treat them as if they were my own fur babies! *Please note availability will change weekly* I currently do not have a set schedule. I will keep my calendar updated as much a possible. If you have any question please ask When I'm not working, I'm spending time with my own pets. We go on walks in my neighborhood. There are two ponds in my neighborhood both dogs have a fun time sniffing anything and everything. We'll play a bunch of games, and explore all the smells around the neighborhood. I am comfortable feeding, administering medications. I will check fence or gates before letting a dog outside. Before leaving, I'll make sure to lock the doors and do one last check. Making sure the area the dog will stay in is clean and check that all trash can lids are locked, no food is on the counters, and that any gates or crate are secure.

I'm Seyla, a dog enthusiast who's finally living the dream of having a furry companion. You see, my childhood dream of owning a dog was delayed due to public housing restrictions, but now that I'm a proud homeowner with a fenced yard, I've got my paws full! Currently, I share my home with four fantastic dogs who are not only friendly but also well-trained. My very first four-legged friend was Bruno, the Rottweiler, and we've been inseparable since he was a pup. Bruno received top-notch training at Apple Jack's K9 in St. Mary's County, and I've been using the valuable tools and techniques I learned there ever since. As if four dogs weren't enough, I'm also a part-time volunteer at "Rescue Angels of Southern Maryland," where we rescue animals from less-than-ideal situations. And, on top of that, I've opened my heart and home to foster dogs from the Humane Society of Charles County. It's safe to say that I have a deep and abiding love for our furry friends! So, why should you entrust your fur baby to me? Well, I've got about 8 years of hands-on experience caring for dogs, and I genuinely believe I offer the best boarding and doggy daycare service around, spanning a radius of at least 50 miles (if not more). Don't just take my word for it—visit our Facebook page (spRover80) to watch videos, view pictures, and read the glowing reviews. You'll see for yourself that you're getting the most bang for your buck! If you adore your dog as much as I love mine, I understand how nerve-wracking it can be to leave them with someone new. But I'm here to show you just how much I adore dogs by offering an array of wonderful activities. Your furry companion will join me on invigorating hikes and walks (twice daily), covering 1-2 miles each time, as we explore some of the finest parks (see below for the full list) in Southern Maryland, at least in my opinion! For those who enjoy a leisurely ride, your dog can hop into our doggy bike trailer as we embark on 2-7 mile adventures. And when the weather warms up, we've got a swimming pool for our canine guests to cool off in. Inside the house, your dog will have the run of the place (provided they're house trained), and they can choose from an array of toys to play with. To keep them well-hydrated, we have water stations throughout the house stocked with purified water, regularly cleaned and refilled. Rest assured, your furry friend will be in great hands, and we'll make sure they have a tail-wagging good time during their stay! Parks & Trails: 1. Smallwood State Park 2. Friendship Farm Park 3. We won't even let them sneak off to the bathroom alone! Here in the wilds of Indian Head, Maryland, we've got a sprawling 1-acre playground enclosed by a fence that's taller than Shaq (okay, maybe not that tall, but it's secure). I've gone all James Bond with 21 motion detectors and security cameras, ensuring that every nook and cranny is under surveillance—inside and outside! We're serious about safety, folks! Now, here's the deal: we're all about accommodating friendly dogs. Your pet's safety is our mission, like it's our secret spy mission! 🕵️♂️🐾 And for those sneaky escape artists, the ones who think they're auditioning for the next great canine escape movie, we've got a secret weapon – the Fi GPS collar. If your dog has a history of vanishing acts or tends to pull a Houdini, consider it their high-tech tracking device for the duration of their stay. Thanks a million for taking the time to read my profile, and if you've got any questions, don't hesitate to shoot me a message. We're here to make sure your dog's adventure with us is safe, secure, and seriously fun!
“Scherry did an excellent job watching our dog and cat while we were away. Scherry communicated and responded quickly to Rover texts and was flexible to our needs. I would definitely recommend her to friends and family.”

“Alani has been absolutely amazing with Yuki. She stopped by for a meet and greet to make sure my pup was comfortable with her and she understood our needs. Alani has showed up on time, been highly responsive, and shown incredible care on her daily drop-in visits. While she will be going off to college soon, Yuki will miss her very much, I highly recommend Alani.”

“Cece was wonderful (caring and dependable). So happy to have found her to care for our dog. Her love for dogs is equal to her knowledge of dogs. Excellent sitter --- we will use her again.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Pomfret
Valerie provided excellent care for our dogs under extremely difficult conditions. Our vet had prescribed trazadone to help relieve Bubba's separation anxiety. Unfortunately, the trazadone caused him to have diarrhea. That caused him to develop a bad rash and infection despite Valerie's best efforts to keep him clean and comfortable. The demands on her time became too much, since she has a full-time job and several other pets to care for. None of us could have seen this coming, but eventually we had to bring on a new Rover sitter who could spend the time and effort to take care of Bubba. Of course we also had her discontinue the trazadone. Again none of the problem was Valerie's fault. She did all she could and more. We would certainly hire her again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
