“BLUF: My dog came home happy and exhausted. I'd use Cameron again in a heartbeat! Drake (75-lb lab) had the time of his life over an extended weekend with Cameron. Cameron came to our rescue when our existing weekend plans fell through. Her dog Cherry, a Sheepadoodle, is his new BFF. Cameron had another dog staying with her as well, and the 3 of them made a very active pack. Based on his step count, he didn't stop running around the entire time! Cameron has a fenced back yard on a quiet street. Dogs are allowed on the furniture (my dog prefers to sleep on the couch, so this was important). Cherry is a wonderful host as well, and an absolute doll.”

About: Growing up, my mom has always had at least 6 cats in the house and 2 dogs since i was the age of 10. I learned from my mom and sister to help take care of our pets and how to take care of them. My friends and acquaintances know how loving my family is of animals so I was always the one they called if they needed pet care. I’ve fostered cats and dogs ( when I don’t want them for myself); I’ve gone to friends houses to care for their pets; I’ve kept pets at my home for friends; I’ve trained many kitties and puppies; I’ve seen the most of it. I have a fenced in yard which is great for dogs to run around freely and 2 friendly dogs who do great with other pets and people! I have 6 cats, 2 of which are indoor and 4 of which are indoor and outdoor cats. I do have a room where I can isolate any pets that don’t do well with other animals and if you wish for me to keep them in a crate at any time, I can make that happen! I’m experienced in walking dogs and cats; the harnesses, leashes and all! I can bathe any doggies that might get dirty from an outside adventure if I have your permission and of course if I’m in your home, I’ll be sure to clean up any messes. Potty training isn’t a problem for me and accidents happen! If you have any preferred products you’d like me to use for clean up, let me know! About: I am an experienced pet owner who would love to provide quality care for your pets. Your pets will never know you are gone!! Give us a try! I have two senior dogs who know they are loved. Both were rescued from bad situations and have been with me 8 and 13 years respectively. We do a daily walk around the neighborhood and they still look forward to it, even the one with 3 legs. I took care of him when his leg was amputated 5 years ago due to cancer and feel pretty good about giving meds, if necessary. Your dog will be well taken care of. I have a fenced in yard and I do walks. I have cared for younger dogs also who want to play and fetch and run. Your dog will be safe in my home and I will do my best to keep your dog on the schedule that you have.

About: I have always been an animal lover. I've had small,medium and extra large dogs! Growing up I was the kid that had rabbits, chickens, dogs and cats. I obtained my vet assistant certification to learn how to better care for my pets and have enjoyed spoiling them ever since! I'd love to help care for your fur babies. I am comfortable feeding, administering medications. I will check fence or gates before letting a dog outside. Before leaving, I'll make sure to lock the doors and do one last check. Making sure the area the dog will stay in is clean and check that all trash can lids are locked, no food is on the counters, and that any gates or crate are secure.

Morgan's expertise and care made it possible for my girl to stay in her comfort zone, and for me to be with family without severe anxiety. About: I’ve had cats my entire life, they’re truly my favorite animal! I currently have two: Willow, my 4 year-old indoor cat, and Stella, our 9 year-old barn cat. They’re both spayed and well cared for with regular feeding schedules (wet food twice a day, with treats here and there!). I clean their litter boxes often every other day for Willow, and every 3–4 days for Stella, since she spends some time outdoors. I also have experience caring for my neighbor’s seven cats (four indoor and three outdoor) when she travels for work, along with her farm animals like rabbits, chickens, and other small critters. The rate is higher for cats because we do not own a cat right now and would need to get proper cat equipment specifically for your cat. All pet must be crate trained for safety. We do provide crate training services for puppies but keep in mind our dog will need to be crated during your puppy’s stay with us. For safety we always pay close attention to your pet’s behavior and will provide updates with pictures to you!

I also deeply value communication with pet parents. I’ll always ask lots of questions to understand your preferences, routines, and what makes your pet feel their best. You can count on regular photo and written updates during our time together! I’m flexible with scheduling and happy to work with pets who may require more attention on walks together due to triggers, so long as there’s no bite history and we’ve had a proper meet & greet to make sure everyone feels safe and comfortable. :) I'm looking forward to meeting your fur fam! I work remotely and have a flexible and self-structured schedule, so I’m thankfully able to build my days intentionally around the things that matter, including pet care! I space out my client sessions to make room for walks, drop-ins, and quality time with the animals I care for. When caring for pets in their home, I’m respectful of their space and routines, and always take the time to understand what helps them feel safe and comfortable. I read behavior cues, match energy levels, and adjust my approach, whether that means calm and slow or playful and high-energy. About: I have grown up around pets, both cats and dogs and helped care for both. I truly love animals and spending time with them, they bring so much joy. I would love to help support you & your pet! I currently work fairly part time and can be quite flexible. I am a licensed social worker and provide therapy in Fredericksburg and through telehealth which gives me a lot more flexibility in my schedule. I provide love and care to pets, giving them time to warm up to me, playing with them, and treating them with the same care and love I give my own pets.
About: I’ve been raised with animals my entire life, my mom worked as a vet tech so I got to see in the in and outs of a vet my entire life even helping clean kennels and feed dogs/cats. I went on to work a dog/cat boarding facility for the last 3 years. I have ample experience taking care of dogs and cats, from tiny breeds to giant ones I’ve loved all the ones I’ve met! I have recently moved into the area, I have all the time to hang out with your pets while your away. I can check on them multiple times a day or stay with them overnight if needed. I'm a follow the routine kind of person, Id follow your routine as close as possibly if not exact to keep your fur babies stress free. We'd have plenty of outside time while I'm with them, and cuddles.

“BLUF: My dog came home happy and exhausted. I'd use Cameron again in a heartbeat! Drake (75-lb lab) had the time of his life over an extended weekend with Cameron. Cameron came to our rescue when our existing weekend plans fell through. Her dog Cherry, a Sheepadoodle, is his new BFF. Cameron had another dog staying with her as well, and the 3 of them made a very active pack. Based on his step count, he didn't stop running around the entire time! Cameron has a fenced back yard on a quiet street. Dogs are allowed on the furniture (my dog prefers to sleep on the couch, so this was important). Cherry is a wonderful host as well, and an absolute doll.”

“WE WERE TURNED AWAY BY SOOOO MANY SITTERS... I checked the schedule of every sitter before making contact to ensure that they were available. I made contact with at least 10 sitters and got "I'm out of town" or no response at all. The issue was my dog was asked not to return to a commercial kennel "Muddy Paws." There was no violence or aggressive behavior, just anxiety shown by barking, howling, tipping food, and water. But all of this is in Ash's bio, and finally, someone was real enough to tell me. "After reading your dogs bio, I don't feel comfortable with him." So I gave up and started to cancel a much needed family vacation. Then I got a small sign and tried Lindsay. She was the only one who asked, "What happened at Muddy Paws?". From there, we exchanged texts, and she asked if we could have a meet and greet that day. We had a wonderful meet and greet, and she took Ash for our vacation. And from there, we were thoroughly impressed. We got pictures, videos, and text messages. My wife actually got a little jealous due to how comfortable Ash looked and smiled in every picture. Plus, he found a new best friend in her dog, Remi. Now, if you are curious to know how Ash did, I highly recommend you ask Lindsay. She even went as far as to write something the other sitters could read that would educate them on Ash's behavior. And we appreciate that so much. BUT AS LONG AS LINDSAY IS A SITTER, ASH DOES NOT HAVE ANY OTHER SITTERS. THANKS YOU, Lindsay, from the entire Jones family.”
