“Shadow had thee best time staying with Seyla! I was able to really enjoy my trip knowing my dog was in great hands and being kept abreast of the walks and feedings definitely gave me peace of mind. Shadow got to socialize with other dogs and got plenty of daily exercise! Because he was walked in the woods and forest, he did bring home about 5 or 6 ticks but I will get him on a preventative in hopes that it will help for future visits with Seyla. I have 2+ years of experience with taking care of bearded dragons and I’ve had a couple visits with snakes, specifically corn snakes. I work with any and all dogs/cats. I also like to send pics/videos of the pets to their owners daily for that reassurance that their fur baby is taken care of with the upmost care! I’m currently a full-time college student. Sara Mae's DaDa died just this past April and she had to move from a nice home in Charlottesville with a big porch and yard, to live with me in a DC apartment. She is a fairly anxious dog to begin with, and as you can imagine under tremendous stress and depression the past few months, getting sick a lot and not eating, especially when I had to return to work. She went from nearly 65lbs at her healthy weight, to 45lbs in two months. Since staying with Jessica and Nick during the day during the work week, she has started to calm down, is now eating again, and putting weight back on that she had lost due to depression and stress. Jessica and Nick are quite literally life savers, and I cannot thank them enough for easing my mind about Sara Mae and being a huge part of the process of helping her get to a new, healthy, normal while I have to be at work. Dogs were meant to run and roam not be tied up. I so enjoy being outdoors and being around dogs. I have always had dogs even growing up with my family. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the rescues and shelters walking the dogs there. I also take rescue puppies into our home and foster them until they are adopted into a loving family. The rate is higher for cats because we do not own a cat right now and would need to get proper cat equipment specifically for your cat. All pet must be crate trained for safety. We do provide crate training services for puppies but keep in mind our dog will need to be crated during your puppy’s stay with us. For safety we always pay close attention to your pet’s behavior and will provide updates with pictures to you!

I am a full-time student for my bachelor's and a reservist. I will keep my calendar updated based on my availability. Most of my days should look similar, but when I have my travel plan, I will update my calendar. I will make sure to send pics of your pet after every walk before I leave your place. Their safety and your place's safety during my stop by is my top priority. Please text me anytime if you want to see your fur babies while they are with me. I understand every paw parent is different, so I do not mind.
About: Hi! My name is Yari. I’ve been an animal lover all my life. I’ve been around mostly large dogs breeds(Multiple Boxers, Multiple Rotties)but I appreciate a fun sized fur baby as well. I am a dog mom to a Jack Russel Tarrier(She’s my World). I have worked at a doggie daycare/boarding so multiple dogs are ok with me. I love taking strolls and enjoying the weather; And if I can do that with your Fur Baby, it’s worth even more. I am very flexible with your needs and the needs of your Furbabies. “Shadow had thee best time staying with Seyla! I was able to really enjoy my trip knowing my dog was in great hands and being kept abreast of the walks and feedings definitely gave me peace of mind. Shadow got to socialize with other dogs and got plenty of daily exercise! Because he was walked in the woods and forest, he did bring home about 5 or 6 ticks but I will get him on a preventative in hopes that it will help for future visits with Seyla. As a fellow dog sitter/walker myself, I highly recommend Seyla and will definitely be booking with him again in the future!!!”
