As Rover newbies, we weren’t really sure what to expect and my wife was a little anxious about leaving our baby. Brian and Carly were extremely accommodating and agreed to have a meet and greet prior to Cheyenne’s stay—what an awesome couple! They welcomed Cheyenne into their home with open arms and that instantly put our minds at ease. We also had the pleasure of meeting their little boy Doc and his friend (name withheld for privacy), for which Cheyenne became fast friends. Several times a day, we received text updates on how Cheyenne was doing to include pics which we really appreciated. On pick-up day, Cheyenne was excited to see us as always but about an hour after being at home I could tell that she really enjoyed her stay because she got a little sad. That was quickly cured with a cup of Ben & Jerry’s Doggie, LOL! I honestly can’t say enough about the care and attention Cheyenne received during her stay. Moving forward, whenever we need a sitter and there’s availability, Cheyenne will be with Brian, Carly and Doc.”

Making sure the area the dog will stay in is clean and check that all trash can lids are locked, no food is on the counters, and that any gates or crate are secure.

I have 2+ years of experience with taking care of bearded dragons and I’ve had a couple visits with snakes, specifically corn snakes. I work with any and all dogs/cats. About: My husband and I are blessed to have a totally fenced in home with over three acres. I decided to use this blessing to bless dogs to come and run and play. Dogs were meant to run and roam not be tied up. I so enjoy being outdoors and being around dogs. I have always had dogs even growing up with my family. My father had a heart for animals and I believe that is where my love has come from. I have three dogs of my own and each one has a very special spirit about them. In my spare time, I enjoy going to the rescues and shelters walking the dogs there. I also take rescue puppies into our home and foster them until they are adopted into a loving family. We believe in exercising your pet whether by means of walking, playing with their favorite toy, sitting on the porch just hanging out and also then giving the proper rest as needed. My yard is fenced in for protected play time. While inside your pet will be allowed to be a part of household for special time and then I have a separate area where your pet will be allowed to have quite time and rest in a crate or in a area without a crate as needed.

About: I have been around dogs since I was born. Personally, my family adopted my first puppy when I was 10. I’ve been pet sitting for neighbors, family and friends since I was around 13. Now grown with my own pup, I know how important it is to trust someone with your fur baby while you aren’t able. I would love to be trusted to care for your babies when you aren’t available. We also had the pleasure of meeting their little boy Doc and his friend (name withheld for privacy), for which Cheyenne became fast friends. Several times a day, we received text updates on how Cheyenne was doing to include pics which we really appreciated. On pick-up day, Cheyenne was excited to see us as always but about an hour after being at home I could tell that she really enjoyed her stay because she got a little sad. That was quickly cured with a cup of Ben & Jerry’s Doggie, LOL! I honestly can’t say enough about the care and attention Cheyenne received during her stay. Moving forward, whenever we need a sitter and there’s availability, Cheyenne will be with Brian, Carly and Doc.”

They were very thorough in ensuring that she and their family were going to be a good match before the sitting, and I’m very glad they were!
