“The relationship started with a meet and greet and Yiqiuxi and Nick asked all of the right questions to ensure that it was a good fit. They were interested in his routines and most importantly the do's and don'ts so Gucci didn't pick up any bad habits. Next the drop off. They have a huge area for Gucci to get plenty of exercise and he showed an immediate sign that he was comfortable which sealed the deal. We could not be happier with how well our Gucci was taken care of (6 nights) I was truly impressed with the consistency in daily updates which included photos, cuddle time and summary of his day. We appreciate their flexibility when I needed to add an extra day due to travel delays. I highly recommend Yiqiuxi and Nick and I am getting ready to book a new date right away. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

I agree that I dont have many reviews mainly because I haven't kept many pets through Rover. But those I have kept love my care. Give us a try and I promise your fur baby will be safe, happy, fed, and loved while here! I now have one 14 yo senior dog who knows he is loved. I rescued him from a shelter 13 years ago and he has been by my side ever since. He is a tri-paw, a 6 year cancer conqueror and the best boy. He welcomes new furry pals and in his old age really just prefers to say hello and then lounge all day. We do a daily walk around the neighborhood and he still looks forward to it. I took care of him when his leg was amputated 6 years ago due to cancer and when a tumor was recently removed. I feel pretty good about giving your darling meds or other medical treatments if necessary. Your furry baby will be well taken care of. I have a fenced in yard and I do walks. I have cared for younger dogs also who want to play and fetch and run. Your dog will be safe in my home and I will do my best to keep your dog on the schedule that you have.

Sara Mae's DaDa died just this past April and she had to move from a nice home in Charlottesville with a big porch and yard, to live with me in a DC apartment. She is a fairly anxious dog to begin with, and as you can imagine under tremendous stress and depression the past few months, getting sick a lot and not eating, especially when I had to return to work. She went from nearly 65lbs at her healthy weight, to 45lbs in two months. Since staying with Jessica and Nick during the day during the work week, she has started to calm down, is now eating again, and putting weight back on that she had lost due to depression and stress. Jessica and Nick are quite literally life savers, and I cannot thank them enough for easing my mind about Sara Mae and being a huge part of the process of helping her get to a new, healthy, normal while I have to be at work. About: I’ve grown up with multiple dog breeds my whole life. I’ve also owned cats, guinea pigs, and hamsters. I have 2+ years of experience with taking care of bearded dragons and I’ve had a couple visits with snakes, specifically corn snakes. I work with any and all dogs/cats. I also like to send pics/videos of the pets to their owners daily for that reassurance that their fur baby is taken care of with the upmost care! I’m currently a full-time college student. I’m available any day and any time of the week. I’m usually available last minute as well and around holidays if needed. I currently have 4 dogs; 3 Yorkies and 1 Boarder Collie mix. They’re set on a twice per day feeding and their internal clock is set to those times. About: I have hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of animals and feel very comfortable handling pets with different needs and personalities. I currently work in recreational therapy twice a week, which has helped me develop patience, responsibility, and strong attention to detail skills that carry over into providing safe and attentive pet care. As an online college student, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give pets the time, consistency, an supervision they deserve. At home, our family has five dogs, so I am very familiar with managing multiple pets at once and maintaining consistent schedules. In addition to daily care, I have experience with overnight dog sitting that includes week-long stays where I handled feeding, walks, playtime and managing pet's normal routines. I have cared for puppies, senior dogs, and cats and I understand how to adjust care depending on energy level and age. I have also taken care of chickens while house sitting, so I am comfortable with a variety of animals beyond just dogs and cats. I am able to drive, which allies me to be available for drop ins, walks, and emergencies if needed. Overall, I am dedicated to making families feel safe with leaving their pets at home and making the pets feel comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I currently work part time and am an online college student. I work Wednesday and Friday nights from 4pm-9pm. For my college classes I do not have to be on any type of zoom, so I do my course work at my own pace. I provide care in my clients home so pets can stay in a familiar, low-stress environment and maintain their normal routine. I follow all care instructions including feeding schedules, walks, medications if needed, and any specific preferences the owner provides. Safety is my top priority. I make sure doors, gates, and crates are secure and keep pets aware from anything that may be unsafe. I work to build trust with both owners and pets by being consistent, patient, and respectful of each pet's personality. I also have reliable transportation, so if an emergency does arise I can provide additional needs.

“The relationship started with a meet and greet and Yiqiuxi and Nick asked all of the right questions to ensure that it was a good fit. They were interested in his routines and most importantly the do's and don'ts so Gucci didn't pick up any bad habits. Next the drop off. They have a huge area for Gucci to get plenty of exercise and he showed an immediate sign that he was comfortable which sealed the deal. We could not be happier with how well our Gucci was taken care of (6 nights) I was truly impressed with the consistency in daily updates which included photos, cuddle time and summary of his day. We appreciate their flexibility when I needed to add an extra day due to travel delays. I highly recommend Yiqiuxi and Nick and I am getting ready to book a new date right away. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”
