About: I’m a college student who misses her dogs from home (two Havanese Ollie and and Frankie) I would love to foster in the future and I do well with all dogs! I am currently a student with a very lenient schedule, dog walking for me is a source of stress relief. I look forward to the exercise! I live a short walk from a large dog park. My roommates and I keep our apartment very tidy and enjoy taking walks together. We recently found a lost dog and was able to take amazing care of her before finding her owner.
“Hailee took great care of our pup, sent plenty of pictures, was respectful and easy to work with, and was very flexible and understanding about the timing of drop off/pick up (which I REALLY appreciated and needed). Thanks Hailee!”

“Haley (and Brady) are fantastic pet sitters! It was clear that they really love pets from our video meet and greet. They seemed genuinely excited to care for my 11mo pup despite her quirks! Haley and Brady were prompt, responsible, flexible, and excellent communicators making it super easy to fit my varying schedule! Both days my pup came home happy, healthy, and exhausted from playing. On day two, Poppi was overjoyed to see them both proving she had indeed been in loving hands! We were in the Panama City area for a quick trip, but I am hopeful my pup will have the opportunity to visit again soon! Haley (and Brady) will definitely be my top pet care choice when we’re back in town! Thank you, both!”

About: I have cared for and trained my dog, my mother’s and grandmother’s dogs. I have also provided a variety of personal home-care services to senior citizens, special needs children & nannied off and on throughout my early adult life. I love caring for and helping others. I substitute teach during the school year and I would love to care for pets during the summer time! It is my goal to at least work part time on top of another part time job! :) I have an apartment where I can keep pets for a short amount of time; we have a nice walking area and a dog park.
“Daniela was wonderful with our shy and timid pup. She sent us lots of photos and updates throughout the day that really put us at ease. She was also very understanding when I had train trouble and was late picking him up. Our pup is looking forward to his next visit with Daniela!”

“Aurora was awesome! We didn’t worry about our two boys at all with her watching them while we went snorkeling. 1. She came to pick up our boys at 7am at our hotel. She was on time even though it was really early. She even had an impact crate in her car in case of bad/crazy drivers. 2. She sent us very detailed updates including pictures, number of water breaks, and potty breaks. 3. She brought our boys back to the hotel twice! We missed her the first time, our fault, but she was super sweet about it. 4. Our boys came back looking happy and tired! Their step counter logged crazy numbers! Thank you Aurora! Maybe we will see you again one day!”

“What a pleasant experience. I had no doubt that my dog would be taken care of, and really ended up enjoying it. Couldn’t recommend this sitter more. I received constant feedback, with pics and videos, service beyond of what was looking for. 5 Stars! I wish I could give more. (One full day of dog sitting), fenced in backyard was a bonus. Thank you.”

About: As fellow doodle parents, we understand the importance of finding a trustworthy and fun place for your furry family members. We offer a safe and loving home with a large yard for playtime, including squirrel-watching, pool fun, and shady relaxation. During their stay, your dog will become part of our family, enjoying lots of attention, playtime, snuggles, and even beach walks if tagged. We are committed to catering to your specific preferences and your dog's unique needs. While in our care, your pup will be treated like family, and they're even welcome to sleep in our bed, just like our own. Although I'm new to Rover, my heart has been full of love for furry friends forever. I'd be happy to schedule a meet and greet so you can feel completely comfortable with your choice. We work from home so your precious puppy will be a sweet addition to our day with our puppies. They go outside as needed throughout the day, sometimes we spend the day going in and out. LOL Your hypoallergenic pup will have a blast in our securely fenced yard, joining our two mini doodles, Chip and Penny, for fun and games! We prioritize a peaceful stay by only hosting one family at a time. As a family with allergies, we exclusively welcome hypoallergenic breeds, ensuring a comfortable environment for everyone. Our friendly doodles are always thrilled to have a new playmate and snuggle buddy.
“Barb was very kind loving with Roan and sent follow up pictures a few hours into day care with updates on how she was doing. I’d feel very comfortable with Roan in Barbs hands!”

“Kameliya and her family took our Odin in with very short notice and gave him a great place to stay + play while we enjoyed some not not so pet-friendly leisure time at Destin. She sent me a picture of him with one of his doggy day care play friends and he was so tired after, so we think he had a really good time! We will definitely use Kameliya again!”

About: I have always had a dog by my side so I have a lot of experience. In our household live with us, our 2 year old Belgian shepherd Dodge, who needs to be worked out daily and our 12 year old Labrador mix Bella. For me, what counts is that our dogs are family members, so your dog is also in very good hands with me Since I am a housewife and mother, I am very flexible. If discussed in advance, I can also walk your dog on the weekends. Ich hatte morgens The dogs are allowed to move freely in our house. They can go on the couch or with us on the bed or playing in our backyard . If I’m in your house, I will play with them, cuddle and make your dogs feel safe
“Josie took amazing care of Quila while we were away and truly treated her like her own. The updates meant so much to us and gave us so much peace of mind. Quila came home happy and relaxed, and it was clear she was well loved and very comfortable with Josie! We’re so grateful for Josie’s attentiveness and kindness and we will absolutely be booking with her again. I 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter! Thank you again, Josie!!”

About: Hi there! I’m an Alaqua Animal Refuge approved foster momma! I treat every animal like they’re part of my family, not just a booking. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away — whether that means structured walks, playtime, or plenty of snuggles on the couch. You’ll receive regular updates, photos, and communication so you always know how your pet is doing because I know how important peace of mind is when trusting someone with your best friend. Pet care fits naturally into my daily schedule because I own my own business and work from home. This allows me to provide frequent supervision, potty breaks, walks, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I also have the flexibility to step away when needed for walks, drop-ins, or special care requests, so pets receive consistent care without long periods alone. I adjust care to each dog’s personality and needs — whether that’s structure and patience for puppies or extra comfort and gentle care for seniors. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow routines closely and provide regular updates and photos so owners always feel reassured. My goal is simple — happy, comfortable pets and owners who feel completely at ease while they’re away.
“Brittney was extremely warm and welcoming of our dog on her first ever doggy-day-care visit. She took her on trail walks, played a lot with her and sent us updates and pictures throughout the day! We couldn’t be happier with the experience and will definitely be taking her back to spend the day with Brittney again soon!”

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Point Washington commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
