“Meredith was amazing, my dogs loved her! I have an 80lb Weimaraner and 26lb beagle and they aren’t the easiest dogs to walk together. My Weimaraner can be reactive to other dogs, sometimes pulls, and they both sort of go their different paces with the beagle stopping to sniff constantly. My neighbors and family that saw her out with my dogs said she handled them beautifully and we had no issues. My Weim also doesn’t love everyone he meets, and he immediately took to her, trying to lean/snuggle with Meredith, so she must give off the good vibes to animals. Meredith was also very communicative. I never worried that she wouldn’t show and an added bonus was the photos she sent. I would definitely recommend using Meredith and will use her again myself :)”

About: I am a physical therapist by trade and a pet lover all hours of the day! Currently observing to hopefully become a canine physical therapist. I work full-time but very close to home and I have long lunches. I work 4 days a week and usually have 3 day weekends (Friday through Sunday). I will be respectful of your pet and home. From crating to walking, playing, feeding, and tending to your pets needs. You can trust I will do it all.

I am looking to add some more dog happiness to my life by helping you with your dog care, sitting, walking (jogging), and playing needs. About: I have had dogs for over 30 years. From border collies, Rottweilers, pit bulls, Australian cattle/Sheppard and various other breeds. While I am new to rover, I am not new to caring for dogs. I have had many friends entrust me with their dogs for days to weeks at a time. My wife and I currently have a 30 lbs mix breed named Riley. She loves walks on the beach and playing with other dogs. I have a large fenced in back yard that is perfect for dogs to run and play in. I also live in a quiet neighborhood with wooded trails near by perfect for long walks. Currently I am between finishing helicopter flight school and starting my new job as a helicopter tour pilot. My schedule open daily for pet care Safety and trust are my top priorities. I have a large fenced in yard that is perfect for your dog to play and run with my dog Riley. Since every dog has their own unique personality, I will be sure to learn their individual needs and wants. About: I've taken care of my family's dogs for awhile now. I have a big extended family who all have dogs. I stay at my aunts house to keep their dogs company often while they are at work or on vacation. I am currently job searching so I have open availablity to walk/stay at your home to care for your dog while you are at work or away! I have a fenced yard. I am open to having a dog at my house depending on the dog size and behavior. I am available to stay at your home.

About: I’ve had cats ever since i was little, ranging from 2 cats all the way to 5 at the moment. I work with dogs ranging from small to large (10-100 lbs) as well as age differences puppy to seniors. I am trained in bathing dogs as that is my current job. I grew up around cats, dogs, reptiles, and small rodents. I knew that animals were my “thing” ever since I was little and I would treat any animal I meet as my own. I work 4-5 days a week (sunday- thursday) and my schedule changes week by week. i am available in the weekday mornings until 12:30-1:30pm and available all day saturday. During the week i am available after 7:45pm. Unfortunately I cannot take in any pets as I do have 5 cats of my own and I do live with my parents. I would treat any persons pet the same way I would treat my own.

About: My first job was caring for my neighbors dogs when I was 10 years old. My family has had dogs and cats as long as I can remember. I frequently care for my friends dogs when they go way. I also have my own puppies. A 17yr long hair dachshund, a 15yr terrier mix, and a 10yr island dog rescued from a kill shelter. I am also a people person too. I have worked locally in the hospitality industry, and also as a teacher. I believe in caring for others fur babies with love and respect. I am currently working part time as a substitute teacher. I am fortunate enough to have the time to work part time and make my own schedule. At home my own pets have a nice fenced in yard and get regular walks. I am not currently interested in boarding a dog, but I am looking forward to meeting and caring for a dog in its home.

About: I was so fortunate to grow up with pets of my own. When I was in college, I had several families who I taught piano to their children ask me to walk their dogs and also to stay at their homes while they traveled. I naturally enjoyed it, and the families started referring me to other people. I have had the opportunity to care for dogs, cays, birds, fish, bunnies, ferretts, and reptiles. I'm now a mom to 3 children who also love animals. We have a 5 year old cockapoo who thinks he's one of the kids, because he's such an important piece of our family. I have had the opportunity over the years to gain experience working with puppies and kittens through geriatric age. I have also helped families with general training to help them keep up their routine. I am not a trainer. I am however happy to utilize commands you share with me to provide the best relationship and care for your pup. I am very fortunate to have a very flexible schedule which has allowed me to grow wonderful relationships with local families I have a very flexible schedule and can usually take same day appointments. I'm happy to help however I can. I feel fortunate to have the flexible schedule that I do! I prefer to care for pets at your home. It is important to me to know all information that will keep your pet safe! What is your pet's routine like? How do they react to new people? How do they react to a new person when you're not around? Do you have a fenced in yard to play in or prefer only a leashed walk? What are words that you use when another dog is approaching or if you don't want your dog to try to chase a squirrel? Do you provide positive reinforcement? Are you currently working on any training? Has your dog ever shown aggression? How friendly is your dog with other dogs? These are some examples of the things it is very important for us to discuss so that I can ensure I am fully prepared for any situation as your pup and I become new friends and get to know each other.
