About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and grew up helping to care for our family pets. Over the years, I’ve also cared for my parents’ dogs while they’ve been away—handling everything from walks and feeding to playtime and keeping them on a routine. Recently, I’ve welcomed a puppy of my own, so I’m especially familiar with the attention, structure and patience younger dogs need. I work from home so can be available for midday walks and and drop-ins. My schedule can vary but is flexible, especially for local visits. I treat every dog like my own and always focus on keeping them safe, comfortable and happy. I stick closely to your instructions and your dog’s routine and am mindful to send an update so you feel confident they’re in good hands.

My sweet, adorable, fluffy, beautiful, yet PSYCHOTIC rescue is a handful! Rachel has not given up on him and is determined to meet him on his own terms and proceed as he is comfortable. I’m sure many dog walkers would have given up on him. But not Rachel. She’s an angel!

About: I have experience with dogs of all ages. I have grown accustomed to a range of feeding, walking, grooming and play schedules and also have experience administering medication. I can handle dogs around other pets, acting to keep everyone involved comfortable and safe. I have lots of free time after classes and only a part time work schedule in the summer. I am able to make time morning, afternoon and night! Until August 15th, I will be living with two roommates. One of which have a cat and a dog who are very friendly. I aim to keep boarding to a minimum until I move into my new space where I will have a lot more room and there would be no. concern with pets interacting and living with other pets that they do not know.

About: I have had dogs and other pets ever since I was 10 years old. I have always felt they are a crucial member of our family. I believe they deserve the best care and attention, as they truly are our best friends. I enjoy my own dogs companionship and unconditional love. I completely understand first hand the value they give to the quality of our lives. I would love to help other furry parents feel comfortable knowing their dogs are in good hands with me as I will treat your pups like family when they need an extra helping hand. I have great flexibility as I am an instacart shopper with a flexible schedule. I can work with the client to work or a schedule. I have a fenced in yard. We walk both of our dogs daily. They are secure and have Identification tags as well. I believe in safety first.

About: I am an energetic, fit, happy, mature and reliable work from home mom of a 12yo dog. I have been sitting for friends and family for decades. I am looking to add some more dog happiness to my life by helping you with your dog care, sitting, walking (jogging), and playing needs. I have lots more love and affection to share and plenty of flexibility in my schedule to fill in the gaps for you and your pup. I can't wait to meet them and you! Boarding in my home will be limited to just your dog(s) so that your pet(s) and mine are receiving the attention and love they deserve. I am not currently working full time so I have flexibility to spend time and bond with your precious fur baby - no skimping on the attention! I have a large fenced yard and a dog door for my own boy (and we go for lots of walks too). We love to snuggle on the couch and play freely. It is a very loving and fun environment.

Lisa was great! She sent daily pictures and updates of each visit making sure that Jebu was fed, watered, comfortable and given snacks/treats. Lisa treated Jebu like he was her own. Lisa let me know that she was bringing my delivered packages inside - she was there for the pooch but also took care of me. I felt so comfortable knowing that every was running smoothly back at home while I was out of town. I will definitely be booking Lisa again in the near future.

About: I’ve had at least one dog at a time since I was 10 years old. I now live alone with my own dog and she gets along with all dogs so I’ve watched several of dogs whether at their owner’s place or having them stay at mine. I am in school currently so on the days I’m not doing that I’m free! It changes with every semester, but lots of free time on my hands I always make sure to feed my dog morning and night, let her out at least three times a day, and walker daily or as needed. I refill water and food bowls, play with their dogs, and can do anything the owner may need. If they need exercise I’m also a personal trainer so running and playing is my forte

About: Lifelong cat expert and passionate dog sitter! Even though I’ve grown up, watched, and cared for cats since I was born, I have then transferred this experience to the pups around me. Whether in my family or in my close circle of friends, I extend my compassion and care to all animals In the morning when I’m up for work I feed my cats. When I have free time before I leave I play with them, and of course when I come home I give them a warm greeting. They are fed again at night and I make sure to give them all the snuggles, love, and playtime inbetween it all. My cats are STRICTLY indoor cats and do not leave the house. They are trained to run away when the door opens but Luna sometimes gets curious about outside

I will do my best to keep your pets safe in your home and when out for walks. I will treat them like my own.

About: My schedule’s open and flexible so I can truly meet the needs of each family I work with. I’m a strong multitasker, attentive to detail, and always make time for excellent communication—sending daily updates, notes, and pictures so you’ll never have to wonder how your pet is doing. With First Aid knowledge and Emergency Preparedness, you can trust that your furry loved ones are in safe, capable hands every step of the way. I always prioritize safety, trust, and comfort ☀️ in every service I provide. In a client’s home, I follow instructions carefully, keeping pets secure, happy, and at ease. When caring for pets in your home, I maintain a clean, pet-friendly environment where they can relax and feel comfortable. I use owner-provided leashes for secure walks, monitor interactions closely, and follow all dietary or medical needs with precision—because your pet’s well-being is my top priority. With over 25 years of hands-on experience, I’ve cared for pets of all sizes, ages, and personalities—from energetic puppies 🐶 to senior companions. Throughout the years, I’ve shared my life with many wonderful dogs, including Standard Poodles, Shih Tzus, Dobermans, German Shepherds, Cocker Spaniels, Schnauzers, Labradors, and Beagles. I also bring a lifetime of cat care experience, having raised and loved breeds such as Persians, Himalayans, Torties, and American Shorthairs. 🐈‍⬛

Meg was great! She stepped up last minute to walk my dog in the cold and I couldn’t recommend her more. My dog was instantly comfortable with her when we did our meetup, and she made me feel at ease with pictures, videos, and updates of him after each walk. She was also very thoughtful and brought over salt to sprinkle on my property after the big storm without even being asked. She went above and beyond and I will definitely be booking with her again next time I go away. Thanks again Meg!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
