About: I’ve been a dog lover for as long as I can remember. I grew up with a small dog from the time I was born through elementary school, and once I went off to college in 2000, I would do everything possible to hang out with friends dogs. Upon moving back to the Philly region in 2007, I started dog sitting and walking for a friend until 2010 when I had a place of my own, at which time I started with fostering dogs having up to 4 dogs at a time. During that time I become a dog parent myself to 1 and then 2 dogs. When I became pregnant with twins, I stopped fostering and then raised my twins with 2 big dogs by their side. During this time I would also dog sit a neighbors dog, and would have 3 large dogs to take care of. I have trained the foster dogs and then my adopted dogs anywhere from 12 weeks through 3 years, most who had experienced neglect and trauma, so I’ve had many experiences with dogs. A friend recommended I use rover as she knows how much I miss having a dog around and the joy a dogs presence gives me. Outside of appointments and driving my kids places after school, I am home, so I have lots of availability to play with dogs, take dogs on walks and have them overnight. I have experience with getting dogs to take medicine, experience with dogs who will eat everything in sight, experience with crate trained dogs, dogs who are house-trained, but not crate trained, and dogs who aren’t trained at all (but at this time, I can not take on the latter for house sitting in my home). I have experience with dogs who are frightened of loud noises (fireworks, thunderstorms, yelling), dogs who are always the shadow next to you and so much more. If your pup is used to sleeping in bed, we have 4 people (3 kids and myself) who would be happy to make that happen. I would love to take care of your fur-baby whether it’s a drop-in visit, a walk, doggie daycare or overnight stays in my home. I’m currently out of work, and looking to create a daily structure with dog walks, dog hikes playing with a dog, etc. with this, I can provide as much time with your pet as needed. Your dogs safety and needs will be my top priority. Outside of the home (or fenced in backyard), your dog will always be on a leash. If your dog is crate trained, or has specific environmental needs, I will make sure to keep those routines so the dog feels safe. Please know that I care and love dogs deeply, and am of the mind that a dog is calmest and on its best behavior when it’s human can provide it structure and “discipline” (ie show the dog the human is the boss). My kids have been taught to respect a dogs space and how to properly approach a dog. Please know that any dog in my care (via house sitting or walking) will be well loved, treated with respect and receive plenty of walks and playtime.

“Thank you Barbara! Bessie slept SO WELL last night...she loved loved loved playing with your doggie family and was extremely happy with her daycare visit. We will use you again and again!”

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover who’s lucky enough to turn that passion into what I do every day. I’ve been caring for other people’s pets for nearly 4 years, and I also have a dog of my own; so I truly understand how much love, patience, and attention our furry friends need!! What sets me apart is that I treat every pet like family. I know how important it is to feel at ease when you’re away, which is why I go the extra mile to make sure your dog feels safe, happy, and loved. Whether it’s long walks, belly rubs, playtime, or just quiet companionship, I tailor each visit to what your pet needs most!! When you book with me, you’re not just hiring a pet sitter; you’re trusting someone who genuinely cares, has real hands-on experience, and sees every dog as the special companion they are!! I’m currently working part-time, which gives me the flexibility to dedicate quality time to pet care throughout the week. Whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening playtime, I’m able to schedule around your pet’s needs and give them consistent attention and care!! When your pet stays in my home, they become part of the family. I offer a safe, clean, and cozy environment where they’ll get plenty of attention, playtime, and love. I also have a very friendly 3 year old Labradoodle who loves having company; he’s great with other dogs and helps your pup feel right at home!!

“Caroline and her pup Georgie were great with Gizmo, he felt right at home all day! Caroline was super communicative and kept me updated with pictures. Will definitely use her to watch Gizmo again!”

About: My name is Caroline, a 24 year old computer science student with a love for pets. I became a dog sitter because I adore dogs and cannot wait to get one once I finish university but in the meantime, I cannot wait to take care of yours! I have previously taken care of dogs by boarding them in my previous home in Philadelphia and also did stay with my cousins toy poodle for a while while she was out of the country. I would walk the dogs once a day and take them out five or six times a day depending on the owner’s preference. I also have taken care or cats by boarding them as well. I currently live in a three bedroom safe, gaited community that is pet friendly. I’m currently a student and I spend most times at home since I take most of my classes online. This gives me time to care for your pet and take them outside as required. I currently have a toy poodle, we go for walks around the neighborhood. I have a big backyard and a safe neighborhood. My dog is very playful and can keep your dog company.

About: I grew up with dogs and have always loved taking care of them. As a dog rescuer I have a lot of patience and care. I work from home, so aside from drop off and pick up time for my child and meeting times I have a pretty flexible schedule. I usually crate dogs overnight but during the day they can play in my fenced yard and run around my house. My neighborhood is great for walks.
