About: We’ve had pets for over 20 years. One of us used to also pet sit as a side job. Because we are currently traveling on and off, we don’t have our own pets now but love to spend time with all animals. For the past three years, we’ve fostered dogs for a local NH animal shelter. We have experience with animals (our own and fosters) who have required medications and special care. We love to take the dogs for walks, and if they’re able, local hikes. We are home for most of the day. We are currently in between travels and so we can commit all of our time to your furry family member(s)! We can exercise them as little or as much as they require. We live in a condo without a fenced yard but are surrounded by great leashed walking and hiking locations. If you have a fenced yard we would be happy to run your dog in your familiar yard off leash or at a familiar dog park. We have a crate available for pups who prefer or require crating at night or when left alone briefly. We often drive to local fields, parks, rivers and other locations for walks.

This Road less traveled Also has a fenced in area for dogs that need a little extra security. About: Being a long time animal lover, I love spending my time walking and training dogs. I’ve worked at various animal hospitals, doggy daycares, and boarding facilities. I am willing to travel, and it would be a great perk if my 3 year old lab could come play or walk with your pup as well! My schedule is very flexible. I am willing to travel, and am open to schedule changes to work with your needs as well. I can do holidays as well as weekends with a planned notice. All I want is for your pet to feel comfortable and have a great time playing and/or going for a walk. Engaging shy/fearful dogs with toys and treats is always a great way to earn trust.

About: I like dogs and cats. Doesn’t matter what I watch but cats are easier for sure! I live in a great area where tons of people walk their dogs Open for anything since I’m retired and have the time now. Prefer to watch pets in my own home but will watch in yours if your more comfortable I don’t have fenced in yard. I would need to walk dogs on leash or keep cats inside. I do have yard for dogs to wander around as long as they are tethered and I’m watching them

About: I had my childhood dog that I grew up with and took care of. Along with having kittens being born in my home when I was 7 and growing up with those kittens. When I was 16 I convinced by parents to get a dog, and in doing so I had to take him to puppy school. I spent a year and a half training him to do different tricks and to also listen what I had to say. By the time he was just 12 weeks old, he was potty trained, could sit, do down and do paw all by my own training. At a year old he was off leash in our backyard (and I live on a busy main road) because I taught him to stay within the perimeters of my yard. I have grown up around pets my entire life. I currently have 2 cats and a dog, while my cousin has a German sherpard that I watch on occasion, and another cousin has a Bernese Mountain dog that I have also watched. I love playing with dogs and cats of all sorts. My goal is to become a vet, so your pets would be in good care! I am currently a student, so I have morning classes and are free in the afternoon. I have also a soccer player so I will have some soccer lifts and practices that I will block off ahead of time, so I have a lot of free time for lots of playing! I would follow any directions that were given to me by the owner. If the dog needs a leash to go outside, if a gate needs to be shut at all times, whatever the case. I will do whatever needed to make the owner feel comfortable with me watching their pets!

If I have been booked to take care of a pet on a day that I have college classes, then I always make sure to return to my condo throughout the day to feed, walk, and spend time with my client's pet(s). I am fairly flexible. I'm free just about any day to walk dogs or have them board overnight at my home. The only thing I need is about an hour as a proper heads up if you need me to come and walk your dog or pick them up. I always make sure to carefully read and follow any instructions that my clients give me. If however no instructions have been given, then I make sure that I take any dogs staying with me out for several walks throughout the day. I also make sure to check in with the pet owners throughout the day (usually by sending a photo of their pet and giving them a brief update on how things are going).
