Both of my girls were very content when I got home which is such a relief! Haley took them on a nice long walk and tired them out before feeding them lunch for me. Lots of pictures too, which of course always makes me feel better about leaving them.

About: Being a dog lover, I have always cherished the bond between humans and our canine companions. The unwavering loyalty, boundless affection, and playful spirits of dogs have captivated my heart from a tender age. My passion for dogs extends beyond simply enjoying their company; it drives me to provide them with the very best care and create enriching experiences that enhance their well-being. As a dog sitter, I am committed to providing a comprehensive and personalized service tailored to each dog's unique personality and requirements. Whether it's daily walks in the park, playtime in the backyard, or cozy cuddles on the couch, I strive to create a welcoming and stimulating environment where dogs can thrive. I believe that every dog deserves to feel loved, respected, and well cared for, and I approach my role with empathy, patience, and a genuine love for these extraordinary creatures. I’m currently an at home mom of 3 children under three years old. And I own a 4 year old mixed breed named Paris. I am available from 2:30pm through 9pm for daily walks and play time everyday. My preferred day-care hours are from 2:30pm through 10pm everyday. And my in-home overnight care is designated to Fridays nights into early Sunday Afternoons. I offer free roam or crated care in my home. All upon clients requests. Water is provided 24/7. Food will be given as quoted by owners. A variety of toys are available 24/7. I am very persistent on being out and about so walk times are within 1-3 hour intervals.

Safety and comfort are my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, personality, and any special instructions before providing care. In a client's home, I do my best to keep pets on their normal schedule and make sure they have plenty of exercise, attention, fresh water, and affection. During walks, I stay alert to the environment, use secure leash handling, and prioritize your pet's safety at all times. About: I have grown up with many cats at dogs and some fish. I love having the companionship of an animal because they don't get mad at us the same way people do. I love it when an animal recognizes me and is happy to see me. I currently work full time 7.5 hrs a day Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Pet care can be fit in in the mornings and evenings as well as the weekends. I have a back yard, that is partially fenced. I have space for the beds, food, and toys. The animals will be integrated into mine and my children's lives as they are our own.

About: I have always been around dogs since I was a kid. Between my own, family members and neighbors, I have cared for dogs of all breeds and sizes for many years and been able to adjust to each dog’s needs with no problem at all. I am great at tiring pups out with play or long walks or hanging with them if they are on the lazier side! I work part time in Concord so I’m looking to take care of dogs for fun and some extra cash! I am available differing days of the week depending on my schedule, but when I am free I will be able to tire out the pups with long walks or extended play sessions if they so desire! I will easily be able to navigate client homes and learn a dogs likes and dislikes quickly to make for a smooth and comfortable experience for the pups.

About: Hi, my name is Leah! I grew up on a homestead farm in the north and have subsequently been around animals my whole life. I raised bunnies, guinea pigs, and swine for the local 4-H. I’ve cared for kittens, puppies, small and large dogs, horses, and chickens. I am very passionate about animal care and have a wide range of knowledge and experience from my childhood on the farm and in 4-H. I have a flexible schedule and am committed to providing the highest quality care for your pet! I look forward to meeting you and your animal(s) soon. 😊 I’m currently working part time so I have more flexibility to help care for your pets and their specific needs. I am happy to accommodate my schedule as much as possible to ensure the highest quality of care for your pets. In my experience, each pet is unique and needs to be treated as such. Thus, as a pet caregiver, I take time to learn the needs and preferences of each animal I care for. If they are easily spooked by other pets, for example, I take the time to choose a walking path where they can enjoy having the path to themselves. In pet sitting, I take the time to thoroughly read all instructions from pet parents to ensure a safe and high quality experience for everyone involved. 🐾

About: I am a true pet lover, and my skills come from a place of care and respect for all animals. I volunteered for 4 years at DogTown, a doggy day care center and boarding facility, where I walked, fed, washed, played with, and trained dogs of all ages, breeds, and sized. I have had dogs all my life, and was responsible for caring for them at a young age. As my senior dog continues to age, I have also gained experience caring for and administering medication to old and sick pups as well. My experience also extends to cats; my friends often rely on me to take care of their kitties while they’re away, so I have years of experience with cat care in the form of drop-in feeding visits, play time, litter box maintenance, and senior cat medication administration. Pet care is second nature to me because of my deep love and respect for animals, and I am a responsible young adult who makes sure to provide the best tailored care for your little loved ones. I work 9-5 on weekdays in Concord, NH. I absolutely can help out in the mornings, and evenings or nights. If you let me know in advance, I can put some time aside to give your pups some extra time and love! I follow owner instructions meticulously to ensure that each pet gets the specific care they need. I see each pet as an individual, and I am attentive and flexible. I make sure to follow routines carefully, review instructions frequently, and ask clarifying questions. I check in and communicate well and often. I also know general first aid and dog CPR, so you can know your pets are safe with me!

About: Petsitting for my neighbors was my first job as kid, and as an adult I continue to enjoy providing pet care services! I love being around animals and taking care of them! I have experience taking care of my senior sick dog. I am currently a student studying Business Management with a minor in Marketing in the UNH online program. As my school is completely online I have a flexible schedule and I am available Monday through Friday with pretty open availability. I currently work part-time in retail on the weekends and typically work during the day so I may be able to help Saturday and Sunday evening if needed. I am happy to provide care for your pet and ensure their safety within your home. I am currently living with my parents as I pursue my degree and am unable to board pets at my home.

Having not used this site in the past, we were a bit (more like very) apprehensive in asking a stranger to come into our home and take our dog out for a few days. Upon meeting Rebecca after the initial meet and greet, I immediately felt those feelings cast aside, and we were entirely reassured with her being responsible for watching our pet! Our dog can be a handful most of the time, and especially to new people. However, it was clear from day one that Rebecca goes above and beyond what you ask of her when watching your pet. It was also great to get the email score cards from Rebecca because they are full of information from her time with our dog - but frankly, these were just an afterthought as we already felt fully confident about Rebecca watching our dog. We will definitely be rebooking, and would suggest to anyone else that may be still on the fence, to do the same!

  • 96% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 95% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
