About: I have always been around dogs since I was a kid. Between my own, family members and neighbors, I have cared for dogs of all breeds and sizes for many years and been able to adjust to each dog’s needs with no problem at all. I am great at tiring pups out with play or long walks or hanging with them if they are on the lazier side! I work part time in Concord so I’m looking to take care of dogs for fun and some extra cash! I am available differing days of the week depending on my schedule, but when I am free I will be able to tire out the pups with long walks or extended play sessions if they so desire! I will easily be able to navigate client homes and learn a dogs likes and dislikes quickly to make for a smooth and comfortable experience for the pups.

About: Being a dog lover, I have always cherished the bond between humans and our canine companions. The unwavering loyalty, boundless affection, and playful spirits of dogs have captivated my heart from a tender age. My passion for dogs extends beyond simply enjoying their company; it drives me to provide them with the very best care and create enriching experiences that enhance their well-being. As a dog sitter, I am committed to providing a comprehensive and personalized service tailored to each dog's unique personality and requirements. Whether it's daily walks in the park, playtime in the backyard, or cozy cuddles on the couch, I strive to create a welcoming and stimulating environment where dogs can thrive. I believe that every dog deserves to feel loved, respected, and well cared for, and I approach my role with empathy, patience, and a genuine love for these extraordinary creatures. I’m currently an at home mom of 3 children under three years old. And I own a 4 year old mixed breed named Paris. I am available from 2:30pm through 9pm for daily walks and play time everyday. My preferred day-care hours are from 2:30pm through 10pm everyday. And my in-home overnight care is designated to Fridays nights into early Sunday Afternoons. I offer free roam or crated care in my home. All upon clients requests. Water is provided 24/7. Food will be given as quoted by owners. A variety of toys are available 24/7. I am very persistent on being out and about so walk times are within 1-3 hour intervals.

We are so happy that we met Rita! We have a skittish/sensitive rescue dog with a history of being really difficult for new people. Not in this case! Our dog Sophie loved Rita right away, and I could tell they had so much fun by how happy Sophie was when they got back. Rita was also right on time, super professional and responsive, and sent adorable pictures. Thank you Rita, hope to see you again!

About: Hi, my name is Leah! I grew up on a homestead farm in the north and have subsequently been around animals my whole life. I raised bunnies, guinea pigs, and swine for the local 4-H. I’ve cared for kittens, puppies, small and large dogs, horses, and chickens. I am very passionate about animal care and have a wide range of knowledge and experience from my childhood on the farm and in 4-H. I have a flexible schedule and am committed to providing the highest quality care for your pet! I look forward to meeting you and your animal(s) soon. 😊 I’m currently working part time so I have more flexibility to help care for your pets and their specific needs. I am happy to accommodate my schedule as much as possible to ensure the highest quality of care for your pets. In my experience, each pet is unique and needs to be treated as such. Thus, as a pet caregiver, I take time to learn the needs and preferences of each animal I care for. If they are easily spooked by other pets, for example, I take the time to choose a walking path where they can enjoy having the path to themselves. In pet sitting, I take the time to thoroughly read all instructions from pet parents to ensure a safe and high quality experience for everyone involved. 🐾

About: I have grown up with animals. For as long as I can remember we owned some type of animal, from fish to goats. We owned them. We always visited my families farms there were cows, horses, pigs and DOGS! I loved the dogs. The dogs and horses were my favorite parts! I was lucky enough to live on my aunts horse farm for a few years and help with the rescue pups that she would foster. She has taught me a lot about working with dogs as well as other animals and how to work with them together and being around each other. I have been dog sitting/boarding for a 10 years now. I have met many different dog breeds and with many different personalities! I would be a great choice for you and your fur babies! Schedule: I work from home as an entrepreneur! This gives me plenty of time to take pups for a walk, swimming, hiking or on an adventure ride! Care: I have been working with animals and dog for 15+ years. Safety if my main concern, for myself and your fur babies! I make sure to follow instructions left without question. While house sitting I ensure to leave a place well kept and more clean then when arriving!

About: I currently have two cats and two dogs that I absolutely adore and consider part of the family. I've also pet sat for family friends and have experience caring for pets with different needs and personalities. After caring for a sick fur baby of my own, I'm comfortable giving medications and helping pets who need a little extra attention or medical care. I understand how important it is to know your pets are in good hands, and I’ll always treat them with the same love, patience, and care that I give my own. ❤️ I’m currently a full-time college student completing my classes online, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for pet care. Because I can plan my coursework around my commitments, I’m able to be dependable and accommodate a wide range of pet care needs. I’m more than happy to provide in-home visits to care for your precious pets. Before any visits begin, I like to meet with families to discuss any questions, concerns, or special care instructions. It’s also a great opportunity for your pets to get comfortable with me and for us to make sure we’re a good fit. My goal is to help both you and your pets feel safe, confident, and at ease while you're away.

Wow! When I reached out to Olivia I was a little nervous Because you never really know what your getting it’s the internet! SHE suggested a meet and greet which instantly put me at ease we met at a public place and my boy Odin loved her immediately he’s a little shy and she knew just how to talk to him and make him feel comfortable. I then took her to my house and also felt extremely comfortable Olivia has been punctual and more then accommodating. She sends me pictures during their visits which helps me get through my work day. Honestly can’t say enough good things!

About: I have experience working with dogs small-large and have taken ~2 years of dog training classes for my own dog. Experienced dog walker and now available for boarding. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. As a part‑time student with no outside employment, I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to each dog I care for. Whether your pet stays in my home or I come to yours, I’m able to provide consistent supervision, regular walks, and a calm, structured environment. I’m already active with my own dog, so incorporating additional walks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day is something I genuinely enjoy. In my home, pets enjoy a safe and comfortable environment tailored to their needs. I have a secure dog run in the yard for outdoor playtime and potty breaks, and I keep an extra crate available if a dog prefers or requires one. Dogs are welcome on the couch, and there are multiple dog beds throughout the house for cozy resting spots. My own dog is well‑trained and friendly with other social dogs, but I can easily separate pets into different areas of the home if that’s the best setup for their comfort. Whether I’m caring for your dog in my home or yours, I treat every pet with the same attention, love, and care I give my own.

Kristen is AMAZING and the best person in the CT area to book for your pet care needs. My husband and I have booked her twice and have only wonderful things to say! The first time we booked Kristen, it was actually to watch our little pug overnight on the night of the wedding. But our ask was quite monumental. We asked Kristen to watch our pug starting early in the morning on the day of our wedding, then to bring our dog to our wedding venue dressed in his tuxedo and help us handle him during our wedding portraits so we could get a few photos with the dog, and THEN we asked her to spend the night overnight at our venue with our pug and we picked him up the next morning. We could not have possibly picked a better person for the job. Kristen was so sweet and UNBELIEVABLY reliable! Our little bean (who isn’t the easiest) had an amazing day with Kristen and Kristen perfectly executed the hand off of our dog during our ceremony (because he was our ring bearer and we asked her to grab him at the end of the aisle after and take him away for the rest of the ceremony). We asked A LOT of Kristen and she could not have been more accommodating or flexible and perfectly executed everything we asked. I explain all of this to give any future pet owner the extra assurance you may need that Kristen is the best hands you could possibly leave your pet with. Our pug is the little light of our lives and we could not feel better about our choice to hire Kristen for our wedding day and then beyond. We very much look forward to using Kristen regularly in the future and we HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Kristen for any of your pet care needs.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
