Monika S.
“Monika is the best thing to have happened to my beautiful Spike. Spike is an English Bulldog and due to his breed, he needs constant accommodations. Spike is susceptible to heat strokes giving his build. When walking him, it needs to be done when the sun is almost down, you need to constantly take breaks in cool areas and make sure he is plenty hydrated and you need to be able to tell when Spike is getting tired and needs a break. He'll often even take naps in the middle of walks and you have to wait until he is done. Whenever I walk Spike I have to carry a backpack filled with water and ice to make sure he is plenty cool. This is the type of care I expect from a pet caregiver to give my Spike. Taking care of Spike requires many accommodations to be made for his sake, and Monika always meets my standards. I usually take care of Spike all on my own, but due to a new job, I can't give him daily walks like I used to. I tried plenty of "professional" pet caretakers, but often their jobs were sloppy or at worst a danger to Spike's health. Eventually, I landed on Monika and he was everything I wanted. Someone who sees Spike and doesn't see him as a nuisance, but instead a pet that needs and deserves that extra bit of attention.”
