“Erika was phenomenal with our boy, Buddy. She took such great care of him, excellent communication and very helpful too as we had late Christmas presents arriving after we left for our trip. We’ll be booking her again!”

“Isaac did a wonderful job walking my dogs, Anakin and Padme! He was very accommodating and made scheduling so easy. I appreciated how attentive and caring he was with both of them, and it gave me peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. About: I’ve cared for animals since I was little. I’ve cared for dogs and cats when young but now as an adult I can now care for ranch animals. The most enjoyable experience. I’m currently available to care for dogs and cats threw out the week with advance notice. My schedule is pretty flexible as I work from home. I have a fenced yard with plenty of space for dogs/cats to run and play. When needing a place to rest there will be plenty of space in my home to cool down. I currently work from home and my schedule is flexible. I’m self employed which give me the opportunity to make my own schedule and work around the needs of the pets I care for. Here at my home I have a special area for them to walk freely around. Giving the pets that stay the option to sleep out of their crate.

About: I specialized in senior small breed rescue for about 5 years and enjoyed it immensely especially the ones who needed around the clock care & medicine. Since moving to San Antonio in 2023, I spend majority of my time rescuing & rehabilitating Doodles and Sheepdogs through Red River Old English Sheepdog rescue. I currently work from home half the time and spend about four to six hours away from home a few days a week. Dog sitting or walking gives me a chance to not only meet other dog owners but to get out and become more familiar with the city. I'm definitely suited for high energy dogs who need to be walked or could use some assistance on leash guiding. If boarding in my home then, I'd be more suitable for indoor dogs who like to go out every few hours.
About: I have always loved dogs. I have had a dog since a young age. I have 3 large dogs myself. I love volunteering at the shelters as well. I work full time Monday-Friday 7 am to 4 pm. I have holidays and weekends off. I will primarily be available for drop ins after work or house sitting on my days off, but I can also make during the week work as well. I will treat your pets with lots of love and follow your directions closely. Make sure they get played with to use up all their energy, or cuddles for the older pets or low energy dogs. I work Monday through Friday 8 am to 4 pm. I have holidays and weekends off. I can also do drop ins during the work week. I would care for your pets in your home by following your instructions and treating them with lots of love as if you were there.

About: I've been an animal lover before I could walk. I've taken care of animals large and small, from horses to hamsters. I spent 10 years in the Marines working alongside and training with the military working dogs. My sidekick is Scarlett, a mellow mannered lab mix who loves every critter, even my mom's raccoon. Scarlett is a great partner for helping socialize other dogs and is always up for cuddles on the couch with new cat friends. I'm currently medically retired from the military with plenty of time and not enough critters to fill it with. My dog, Scarlett is always wanting a play date too. I live in an animal friendly apartment with a great dog park in the complex and only a short drive from an enormous park where your fur baby can run free. Also, I am more than happy to help your fur baby feel more comfortable by coming to them and being the guest in their castle instead
“Georgia was a delight to work with - caring, considerate, and conscientious. Gidget loved their time together and we will definitely rebook when the opportunity rises. .”

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 11. Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. I am working part-time with Rover. My availability is Monday thru Sunday from 5:45 pm to 7:15 pm. Reach out and if I can work around your schedule I will be happy too. I have one loving Labrador Retriever. Our fun loving dog Mango (1yr female) and has her own crate if you see fit for us to use a crate your princess or prince stay just let us know. Treats are a must in our home and stocked for my dog. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
