About: Worked as a vet assistant for 3 years at a vet office, medically caring for pets and assisting in surgery’s. Then worked for another 3 years at a doggy daycare, interacting and monitoring dogs or caring for the ones that were boarding. I’m currently a stay at home mom. I walk 3-5 miles a day, and would love to take your pup along with me. I currently don’t have a dog of my own, but kids that would love to have one to play with for a day or two. I have a large yard and live on a dead end street. I am always walking to get my miles in or outside with my kids.

Karla is such a blessing :) She is very attentive to my 2 year old hound mix Olivia. She has allergies (food and environmental) and I don’t worry at all about her going on walks with Karla. I get home from work to a happy, tired puppy :) I highly recommend Karla!

About: Aloha! I want to help you and your family member (dog/pet) feel less stressed about being away from each other! I noticed that every time I used a kennel service for our fur baby, our dog would get so scared, stress shed, nervous/anxiety, she would not eat, different times she caught kennel cough (which meant more vet bills), and our dog was definitely unhappy with the small kennel space surrounded by other upset loud barking pups/dogs/animals! I believe I can help your dog/pet feel loved, safe, comfortable, fed, clean, exercised, washed (optional), fun/waggy tails, like family when you are away. *** only DOGS UNDER 35lbs at this time. I’m sorry I need to regain my strength back first (my body has changed since having my second child) Thank You for understanding.**** My name is Michelle. I love animals! We have a small dog, bunny and fish! I used to volunteer at SPCA and Paw-sitive (Non profit, walk, groom, and feed stray dogs until they got adopted). I have housesit/housesat and dogsit/catsit/ bird and turtles-sat for friends and was suggested to extend my love on ROVER! (Side note: My husband goes to work during the day.I recently changed our schedule to homeschooling. My 2 kids are used to me caring, playing, and walking other dogs that they don't interfere or bother the new animal. We have a 6 year old and now a 2 year old that loves animals as well. We moved here to Milford, Cincinnati from Hawaii. Ive taught them, and have experience caring for animal, see pictures). I have went out of the way to teach , show and guide my children to be gentle, slow approaching/no sudden movements, no chasing, be responsible, ask before pet, be aware and careful around animals. I want to help other families feel comfortable and confident to leave their pet with me. We have our Covid shots and boosters. I am home everyday (except 4hours out of the week, when we do groceries or friends farm, or kids play dates). I keep my distance from crowds, we sanitize, and wash our hands frequently. I clean the house and wipe everything all the time. We got a new Hoover carpet wash, and our dog is up to date with shots! Your pet is safe and will be treated like royalty, pampered, loved like our pup/family! I have owned dogs most my life (had my first pup with the responsibilities at 6 years old, and owned/fostered animals for 20 years after) taking care of puppies, adults, to senior dogs (a pit bull, a Pekingese, Shih Tzu , then fostered a German Shepard, a Poodle, a black pup Lab), Taken cared of a Golden Retriever, a Pitbull, bulldogs, Soft- wheat Terrier, a bird, hamsters, turtles, a class pet guinea pig, and cared for friends cats too (see photos). Yes, I have a small dog but our house is big enough to have another dog/cat/pet around (I can gate, l and keep my dog separate if need). Your pet will be taken out for a run or walk at least 4x a day (usually 4-8 times with pictures)! Schedule: I take your/our dog out first thing in the morning, lunch, then around 3-4pm around/after dinner time , and right before bedtime too ( update you with photos)! I will spend time with your dog/pet. I will sit with, read to, massage, comb, feed and pet (constantly check on, if they don’t want to be disturbed)! Even while I read to my child, homeschool or while we watch tv at night. I have taught my children not jump around, not rush, nor scare animals. And my dog will be gated, separated, away from your dog/pet when we are out and when requested. I left my 911 emergency call taking position to be a stay at home mother. I would love to care for, walk, play, cuddle with your dog and take your dog to the park with us too ! *** ONLY DOGS UNDER 35lbs at this time. Thank you*** I have a lot of room, space, toys, pillows, blankets for your pup/dog/pet (separated away from our dog), open concept spacious house, and animal-friendly neighborhood. I live in a cul-de-sac with extremely caring sweet neighbors that know me/us. Several families around us have animals of their own and I know most dogs have been trained or gone thru training as well as ours. I will text or email you pictures and FaceTime your dog/pet too if you like. Your dog/pet is unique and special to you so I will do my best to help. I will keep your dog/pet on a leash every time we go outside, so they don't go missing or let other dogs bother them. (Off leash free to run roam inside the house and I have a mini tread mill if outside walks and inside play is not enough). Our dog is up to date with all shots, vet visits, and takes medication for tick/flee, heart worms. We give our dog a shower once every other week and when she gets muddy. I can help clean your dog/pet too, let us know!

About: I bring extensive professional experience in animal care and behavior, including years in shelter leadership and hands-on behavior work with fearful, anxious, and reactive animals. My background includes behavior assessment, stress reduction, enrichment planning, and individualized care for dogs who struggle with transitions, confinement, or unfamiliar people. I am especially comfortable working with dogs who need structure, patience, and clear communication rather than force or correction. I prioritize low stress handling, predictable routines, and meeting dogs where they are emotionally, not just physically. My goal is always to keep animals safe, supported, and understood while their people are away. I maintain a flexible, well-managed schedule that allows me to accommodate a wide range of client needs, including weekdays, weekends, and varying visit times, with appropriate advance notice. I care for pets by balancing structure with relationship-building. I focus on creating predictable routines, clear communication, and calm expectations while also prioritizing rapport, confidence, and emotional safety. I pay close attention to body language and stress signals and adjust care in real time to meet each pet where they are emotionally. Rather than forcing compliance, I help animals work through fear, overstimulation, or uncertainty at a pace they can handle. Whether in my home or a client’s home, my goal is to create a low-stress environment where pets feel safe, understood, and supported, which allows genuine progress and trust to develop. My pets at home enjoy structure along with play and lots of quiet time. My dog, Albany, enjoys finding hidden treats in a fenced backyard. My three cats, Duchess, Wanda, and Addie, enjoy plenty of naps, wand toy play time, and many hours of cuddling and watching tv.

About: Hi! My name is Zoey, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. I have years of experience in pet care and professional dog grooming, giving me a strong understanding of animal behavior, comfort, and safety. Due to a disability, I had to step away from grooming, but my love for caring for pets never changed. I would love the opportunity to spend time with your furry family members — giving them love, attention, cuddles, playtime, and dependable care while you’re away. I’m experienced with dogs of all sizes and temperaments and understand the importance of patience, kindness, and creating a calm environment for pets. Whether your pet needs companionship, walks, feeding, medication reminders, or simply someone loving to keep them company, I’m here to help treat them like family. Your pets will be cared for with love, compassion, and plenty of snuggles! Pet care is something I truly love, and I’m so thankful to have found Rover because it allows me to continue working with animals despite my disability. This is my full-time job, which means I have a very open and flexible schedule and can be available anytime — day or night — to care for your pets. I’m dedicated to making sure your pets feel safe, loved, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. Whether they need cuddles, companionship, playtime, walks, feeding, or just someone patient and dependable by their side, I’m here for them whenever needed. Your pets will always be treated like family in my care! At this time, I’m currently offering pet sitting and house sitting services in your home so your pets can stay comfortable in their familiar environment and routine. I’m happy to provide loving care, companionship, feeding, walks, playtime, cuddles, and attentive care while you’re away. In the near future, I will be renovating my home so I can also offer boarding services for both dogs and cats, as well as training support. I’m very excited to continue expanding my services and create a safe, comfortable space where pets can feel right at home!

About: My husband Jeff and I have 2 dogs and no kids. Our dogs are our kids! Our dogs are about 2 years old and get along well with other dogs. Both of us grew up with dogs and have had dogs that are both young and senior. We give our dogs lots of time and attention. We are responsible pet owners and believe in keeping them healthy, loved, safe, and part of our pack! I am retired and my husband works part-time so one of us is almost always home to care for your pet(s). If we are gone for a few hours, our dogs are caged in the house. Usually, it is if we go out for dinner or the store, so it's for short periods. If your dog does not do caging, that's ok as long as they are good! We have a large fenced yard. Our 6 foot privacy fence also has wire mesh at the bottom of the fence to make sure dogs are safe and can't get out (or other animals get in). Our dogs are about 3 years old and get along well with other dogs. They love to play and are free to move in the house and the yard, and they get regular walks. Dogs are allowed on furniture. We would love to be your pet sitter while you are away, and you can be confident your doggie will be happy, safe and loved!

About: I’ve grown up in a multi-pet household and currently care for three dogs and a cat full-time, so I’m very comfortable managing different personalities, energy levels, and routines. From a young age, I’ve had hands-on experience caring for animals, including pet sitting for neighbors starting at 14. I have experience with a variety of feeding needs, including strict schedules, portion control, and working with food-motivated dogs (including using slow feeders when needed). I’ve also prepared homemade dog food, so I understand the importance of proper nutrition and consistency in a pet’s diet. I’m comfortable administering medications, including insulin, eye drops, and oral tablets, and I take care to follow instructions closely to ensure your pet’s health and safety. In addition, I regularly handle daily care tasks like walking dogs, cleaning up after them, and maintaining litter boxes. I’m used to keeping pets on a consistent routine to help them feel comfortable and stress-free while you’re away. I’m also attentive to changes in behavior and will always prioritize your pet’s well-being. You can expect reliable care, clear communication, and plenty of updates so you feel confident your pet is in good hands. My schedule is very flexible over the summer, as I’ll only be working part-time, which allows me to provide consistent and attentive care. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and extended visits throughout the day. In the fall, I’ll be starting graduate school, so my availability may be a bit more limited. However, I still plan to offer pet care and will keep my calendar updated to reflect my schedule. I’m happy to work with you to find times that meet your pet’s needs! When caring for pets in your home, I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and familiar environment so your pet feels comfortable while you’re away. I understand how important it is to maintain your pet’s routine, and I will follow all care instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, and any specific needs. I take safety seriously during walks and visits, ensuring pets are secure on leashes, aware of their surroundings, and kept away from potential hazards. I’m also attentive to changes in behavior or health and will communicate any concerns right away. Respecting your home is just as important to me as caring for your pet. I make sure to keep your space clean, lock doors and windows, and treat your home with the same care and responsibility as I would my own. You can expect clear communication, regular updates, and photos so you feel confident and at ease while you’re away.

About: Pets don't need much to be happy. Most are content with some peanut butter for dogs, or maybe a treat for the kittens! We all know that a little patients goes a long way, and we don't always have to understand to be able to help, and give good happy lives :) I'm here to help! Right now I'm fully available. Please consider me a full time pet manager, and I mean I'll walk! I'll talk! And I'll adapt to whatever it is you need done! I care for pets with the focus on maintaining consistency for the pets. So whatever the owner wants. It's important to lay it all out, and allow for small errors on all sides, and later we will build everything we need to succeed and give vitality to the pets!

Kristen helped me walk 5 dogs and I knew instantly she was the right choice because she was on it when one of her puppies picked up trash. Another time she dove right into his mouth unafraid to get whatever he grabbed and prevent him from swallowing it. As soon as she put the leash on she became their pack leader and the dogs liked her right away!
