About: Hi there! Im used to watching other people's pets and usually am requested to do such on base or off base. I also volunteered often for the humane society and owned several dogs myself. Military has made it more difficult to own a dog so taking care other dogs is a bit easier. I do this for fun and to help others (: Ill never increase price and if you need work things out we can discuss it. My schedule is usually rather free most days now. If you let me know in advance I can happily give you my schedule which usually consist of appointments. There's a huge fenced yard in the back and the house is always cooled. They're no kids here either. I certainly would welcome a house tour if you feel inclined to.

About: As someone who works online, my hours are completely flexible and can be done most anywhere. I use this to my advantage as a pet-lover. It means I get to be surrounded by pets as much as I can, and as someone who cannot have their own dog, I cannot express how fulfilling and heartening it is for me to do so. I have also pet-sit for friends and family all my life. I truly love animals. I go in with this mindset: how would I want others to treat my home-space and my own pet? About: I am Suzy I grew up on a farm in a small town. I just retired from being a private hospice caregiver. I have experience with dogs, cats, cows, pigs, goats and horses. About: I have had animals my whole life. Dogs cats birds rats ferrets rabbits and even at one point a duck who lived with me in a downtown apartment in San Diego! I actively assist in the rescue and owner return of lost and missing pets. I love animals and would love to be able to spend some of my time with doggys! I cant own one right now cause it wouldn't be fair to keep that many animals in a small tiny house all day everyday but id love the opportunity to love yours for a little while. We have a fully fenced back yard and my brother lives next door, so if they somehow jump the 6 foot fence (I know how Shepard's can be) they just end up in my brother fenced yard! I don't take more than one animal at a time unless they are from the same family to prevent potential fights/injuries. I do have my own brood of cats (strays we've rescued and the kitten my daughter brought home one day) so cat friendliness is important even though they'll probably stay hidden the whole time! I'm a responsible person with safety as a top priority. 2nd priority is owner expectations. Its your baby after all! Im hoping to make it my main priority. I'm currently focused on growing a business in pet care so I'll be highly motivated to make accommodations and follow through. I tend to follow each pets owners itinerary and requests. You know your pet best. On the absence of an owner provided schedule I simply do my best to follow the animals cues.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
