I have worked 5 years with the Iredell Humane Society and 1 year with the Forsyth Humane Society. I take care of them as though they are my own! About: I have pets at for many years. I also worked at a dog kennel so I'm used to all different shapes sizes and breeds. I enjoy training my own dog. I also worked on a farm so I have some farming knowledge as well. I enjoy being an active person and taking pets out. I want pet Care to be able to be my full-time completely integrated daily routine I take care of my own animals but I would like to be able to take care of other people's full time. I do however start my program of study sometime in August. In a client's home I would strive to keep the same schedule for the pets because I'm sure that they are already stressed out when their people leave. This being same food bathroom routine making sure they get playtime attention.

About: A little background: I have been a pet owner since I was a child. I grew up on a small farm complete with horses, chickens, rabbits, goats, cats and of course dogs. I'm the current owner of a German shepherd, 2 Pomeranians, 2 cats, 5 horses, multiple chickens, and rabbits. I have years of animal handling experience through volunteering at the Central Florida Zoo and Audubon Center for Birds of Prey. I've also owned many exotic pets like turtles, fish and birds. My passion for animals has caused me to pursue a degree in environmental sciences and biology from the University of Central Florida. I love all animals and believe they should be taken care of to best of our abilities. I have many long time customer references available upon request. I live on a growing homestead that requires me to check in daily on my animals and pets. As long as I can check in on my farm we should be able to continue your normal pet care routine. In situations of conflicting schedules, I have an assistant available to help care for the dogs during the day. We can discuss our schedules and figure out what works best for everyone's needs. What you can expect from me: While your dog(s) is in my care I will provide them with the love and attention they deserve and will strive to keep them as close to their normal schedule as possible. I will prepare their food in whatever manner they are used to including any special instructions, dietary supplements, heating or mixing they may require. As the pet-mom of a Pomeranian with liver issues, I understand how important a consistent diet is for our pets and I promise to continue your dog's usual regimen. About: Hello from Katie! Moved here from the Midwest about a year ago! I have owned dogs my whole life and couldn't imagine life without them. I worked at the dog kennel next to my house growing up and learned how to give exceptional care to dogs of all sizes. I have since worked full time at a horse farm and love animals all shapes and sizes. I have two dogs of my own that are my babies. About: I work as a Kennel Technician taking care and loving the dogs who have been pulled from kill shelters to rehabilitate them, so we are able to relocate them and find them good homes. I also worked with my Uncle on his ranch with his rescue dogs and other farm animals. In the near futuer I will be going back to school to study Zoology. I've been around dogs and cats my entire life. I have a strong love for animals and I'm a very patient person. I know how to treat them the way they should be treated.
