“Linda was fantastic! I have an older small dog (Bailey) who struggles with severe separation anxiety. Linda was unbelievably patience, taking things slow, making sure to reduce Bailey’s stress level. Bailey rarely eats when I’m away, but she actually ate for her. She sent me regular updates and pictures on how things were going. Linda’s kindness, patience, and attentiveness made a potentially stressful situation seamless for both Bailey and me. I highly recommend her to anyone with a dog (or any animal) who needs a calm, compassionate caretaker. I already have booked her again.”

About: *** No dog to BIG or small *** We walk the walk and bark the bark over here. We come, sit stay and play ALL DAY! Hi, I’m Stephanie. Lover all shapes and sizes (or breeds, lol). I’m a stay at home dog/human mama who adores all things on 4 legs. I have over 20+ years of experience with several breeds of fur babies. I’m pretty fluent in house breaking for pups, leash training, day to day commands and can follow a pretty strict schedule. As for our senior babies, we can do that too. Slower walks, patient feedings, medications and a laid back lifestyle. I am a current stay at home mom of 2 who I also homeschool! So availability is pretty open most week days and week ends. Early mornings/late nights are always a thing too! For boarding purposes I offer a fully fenced in back yard with a pup of our own to keep yours in good company. Our home is also pretty pet friendly. We don’t use any type of harsh chemicals, fragrances, bleach, aerosols, candles, etc.
About: I’ve been a pet owner for many years, so I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust caring for your pets when you can’t be there. Pets are part of the family, and I will always treat your dog with the same patience, attention, and care that I would want for my own. I currently have a flexible part-time schedule, which gives me plenty of availability to provide dependable dog walking and drop-in visits. I’m happy to work with your pet’s normal routine and make sure they receive plenty of attention while you’re away or busy. For dog walks, I’ll make sure your dog gets exercise, fresh air, attention, and time to explore while keeping their safety a priority. I’m comfortable following your instructions regarding walking routes, leash preferences, feeding schedules, and your dog’s individual needs. During drop-in visits, I can provide potty breaks, fresh food and water, playtime, companionship, and lots of love and attention. I’ll also make sure your pet is comfortable and everything is secure before I leave. I know leaving your pet in someone else’s care can be stressful, which is why communication and reliability are extremely important to me. I’m happy to provide updates and photos so you can feel confident knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. Every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I look forward to getting to know yours! Whether your dog needs a good walk to burn off some energy or simply some company and attention while you’re away, my goal is to make their time with me safe, fun, and comfortable. 🐶❤️ I currently work part time so I have plenty of time outside of my work schedule to take care of fur babies! I don't have an exact schedule so I have the flexibility. I only offer drop in visits or home sitting. I will make sure they are in a safe environment at all times. Making sure the gates and/or doors are closed at all times so that the fur babies don't get out.

“Elizabeth was so wonderful with our two cats and two dogs. The dogs loved her right away! She had to give one of our pups a daily allergy pill and she understood exactly what she had to do right away without any qualms. She sent us pictures of contented pets through out her visit. We will definitely have her back for future vacations!”

“Courtney did a fantastic job taking care of our senior husky/shepherd mix while we were out of town for the weekend! He loved her the moment he met her at our meet and greet. She took him on multiple daily walks and gave him his food and meds on schedule. She always asked for clarification when needed, was very communicative and sent photo updates. We came home to a clean house and a cute framed pic of him that she took while she was here. Very thoughtful! So happy we found such a great dog sitter we can rely on!”

“Teri took great and loving care of my dog for 12 days. She went on long walks and took him to a variety of dog parks every day which he loved. Teri is a great communicator and sent pictures every day. She took great care of my home as a house sitter as well. I have booked her again for dog & house sitting in the future as I was very happy with her dedication and care for my dog and home.”

About: I’ve been raised around dogs my entire life and have hands-on experience caring for them in every stage — from playful puppies to seniors who need a little extra patience and attention. Having supported my own dogs through their later years, I understand how important gentle, attentive care is. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work Monday through Friday from 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM, which means I’m available for early morning visits before work and have my full afternoons and evenings open for walks, drop-ins, feeding, playtime, and overnight care. Because I’m off mid-afternoon, your pet won’t be waiting all day for attention. I’m able to give them consistent, reliable care and quality time — whether that’s a calm check-in, an energetic walk, or simply extra cuddles to help them feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I will always care for your pet the way you feel most comfortable, especially in your own home. I carefully follow any instructions you leave — from feeding routines and medications to favorite toys and bedtime habits — because I know how important consistency is for their comfort and your peace of mind. If they stay in my home, they’ll be welcomed into a calm, loving environment alongside my two pets. They’ll have access to a fully fenced backyard where they can safely explore and enjoy fresh air. I’m able to separate from my cat if needed to ensure everyone feels secure and comfortable. While I’m not able to separate from my dog, he is well-socialized and used to being around other animals. My goal is always to create a safe, warm space where your pet feels cared for, understood, and at home.

“Amazing! We have 1 older pit bull and 2 puppies (4mos) who are still in need of constant supervision and she did a great job of caring for them while we went away from the house for 5 hours. The pack didn't have any accidents and was totally chilling when we got back to our house. Can't wait to have Marisa back with the pack soon when we try an overnight trip without puppies. :)”

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Pittman walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Pittman maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Pittman choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
