“I am so glad that I found Carolina and her family. She is a true animal lover, and it shows in how much attention and patience she had put into caring for my cat, Mochi. Carolina went far and above beyond expectations. My Mochi had a big beautiful room with a brightly quilted bunk bed to climb on and plenty of cat trees, scratching posts, and windows in which to luxuriate in the sun. He could also enjoy piped-in music throughout the day and a big flat screen TV. He was warmly welcomed into the family home, roaming freely and playing with Carolina's many pets. He loved his vacation at Carolina's as much as I had enjoyed mine! I might also mention one aspect of this Rover experience that is critical for me and should be important to consider for other pet owners. Carolina keeps her boarding spaces immaculate. Bedding, cushions, and bowls are spotlessly sanitized, and all of her pets are on a rigid flea and worm prevention program, so there is no danger of cross contamination. I am very pleased and feel that my Mochi had a five star hotel experience for a fraction of the price.”

About: I have been involved in working with animals on a providing-care basis since I was around 12 years old. I began through petsitting my neighbors dogs when they would go out of town. When I began college I got a job working at our local petstore which taught me so much more about caring for pets. I have also dedicated plenty of time to volunteering with animal shelters and fostering pets till they find their forever home. Now, I have multiple pets of my own and love any and all pets I have ever come across. I am currently a full time remote employee so I work from home M-F each week 7-4pm. Thankfully, working from home allows for flexibility and time with your pets the majority of the time. I currently live in a house with a large fenced in backyard where pets can run and play. I have pets of my own, 2 dogs. To me this won't just be another job or a check-in, I want to get to know your dog, cuddle them, and have playtime with them for enrichment. Puppies each have their own personalities and I have taken care of pups with challenging and sassy personalities, including my own 6 month old coonhound who is super independent. I can train puppies, so if you are working long hours and need help with potty training, crate training, or mastering basic commands such as sit, I would love to help you with that while I'm there! My schedule is currently open for the entire summer, Monday through Sunday. If I am needed early morning hours or late evening hours, I am also open to discussing this. During in-home check-ins for dogs, only with your approval, I will give your pup treats for training purposes. Typically I will use single pieces of your dog's kibble to motivate them in learning commands. When it comes to cats, if you are hiring me to take care of your cat while you are gone for work or a trip, I will treat them as an indoor-only cat, no exceptions.

I worked at a veterinary hospital for eight months during my time in nursing school, and absolutely love animals of all kinds. It fits perfectly for me at the moment, as I am mostly spending my time right now studying for my boards exam. I have a cat who suffers from stomach issues and is on a special prescription diet with supplements. At my apartment complex there is a dog park, and plenty of space to walk dogs. About: I have been involved in working with animals on a providing-care basis since I was around 12 years old. I began through petsitting my neighbors dogs when they would go out of town. When I began college I got a job working at our local petstore which taught me so much more about caring for pets.
