About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, and farm animals, and I currently volunteer at a local cat shelter where I help care for cats of all ages and personalities. I understand that every pet is different, and I take the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, administering basic care, or simply giving them companionship, I’ll treat your pets with the same care and attention I’d give my own. I have a flexible schedule and make pet care a priority. Whether your pet needs a drop-in visit, walk, feeding, playtime, or overnight care, I’m committed to providing dependable, attentive service. I understand how important routines are, so I’ll follow your pet’s schedule closely and provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I carefully follow all feeding schedules, medication instructions, and household routines exactly as requested. I take the time to build trust with each animal and let them adjust at their own pace. Whether caring for pets in your home or mine, I provide a clean, calm, and low-stress environment while treating every pet with the same love and attention I give my own. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages throughout each visit.

About: Excited to meet your fur babies! I'm super attentive, love keeping them happy, and promise to send you the cutest updates. Your babies are in the safest hands with me! 🫶 I also have 4 of my own, Violet and Clover. Both very spoiled kitties with big personalities! As well as Hazel and Basil, two little weenie pups! 🥰 ( Perks - Will take cute pictures of pets with my digital camera 😆 ) In your home, I will make sure to follow any specific rules or requests you have to ensure your pets feel safe and comfortable. Your pet's well being is always my priority, and I provide them with lots of love, attention, and a safe environment. :) Its important for me to know your pet's routine, likes, dislikes, and any special care they may need. Their feeding schedule, favorite activities, and how they respond to new people and situations to make sure they feel safe. Also very important to know any health concerns, allergies, and behavioral quirks.
“Taylor is conscientious, very good with my two kittens (10 mos. And 18 mos). I know that they are being extremely well taken care of in my absence. I plan to request Taylor every time I need help with Maggie and Morgan. Thank you, Taylor!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of any kind since i was around 13. I love them unconditionally, they bring happiness to everyone. I have my own dogs, bigger breeds, and occasionally dogsit for my sister when she’s out of town! this is my full time! so i have plenty of time to make it everywhere i need to be! i make this my top priority day in and day out! my dogs are free roam in the house, trained and well behaved. my cat is also free roam and is well behaved, and likes almost everyone! if your animals are crate trained, that’s fine! your house your rules! i always stick to what the owners prefer, like, etc. for their animal. i never go the route of sticking to my own rules, it’s not my animal, the owner knows best!
“Great service. She is very personable and left great pictures every day. She also collected my mail and watered a few plants. When I came home a little early she fixed the booking online so I didn't have to pay for unused visits. I recommend her highly.”

“Barry is an absolute delight! He kept in constant contact the entire time and made sure to send pictures of our pups. We’re very pleased with his services and plan on using him whenever we need someone to watch our dogs.”

About: I have loved caring for animals since I was a child. Walking and feeding our German Shepherd was my favorite part of the day. We also had a Chow and one feline. Training Rocky the rottweiler to remain calm while bunnies passed through the yard is my biggest accomplishment, thus far. I love working with animals and their energy. On Thursday morning I teach guided Meditation but make my own schedule other than that. I'm up early to watch the sun rise and greet all the neighbors and pups. Animals prefer and are most comfortable being in their own environment with the scent of loved ones surrounding them. I respect their boundaries and connect with their energy softly and respectfully.
“Alexis is truly amazing! My husband and I feel so blessed to have found her! Our Rigby loves her dearly and we both have peace of mind he is in good hands while we are at work! We appreciate Alexis very much❤️”

About: CLEAN, NON SMOKING, HOME – Private Fenced Yard ~ Dog sitting is part of my business called Gail’s Personal Assistant Services. Please INCLUDE A CONTACT NUMBER IN YOUR INITIAL MESSAGE. I prefer communicating by phone or text. I have two small dogs, a Havashu and a Westie. My back yard is fenced and safe. I sit for many clients who come to the island and stay at inns that do not allow dogs. I have great references. It’s nice to know that while you are here playing, your fur-baby is also having a grand time. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover all my life. I should say I am an animal lover. I've had cats in my past also. My mother had dogs in our home, so I was raised with them. About my yard It is a fenced in yard, not too large, but big enough for them to play and run around. My experience administering medication Yes. As I have two pups of my own, I have experience in doing this job. I have administered medication to my client's pups when they needed it. My Overnight Stays An overnight stay is 24 hours. If you are gone over the 24 hour period for the one stay, then there is an additional charge for a day care stay. I have loads of time to play with your pups! I'm home most of the time except for some errands. They will love it here with my two! I let my pet run free and they are allowed to sleep with me. I can also crate your pet if that is how you have trained him/her.
About: I have been dog sitting all of my adult life, a variety of ages. Most of my experience is with senior dogs, my family dog included (16 year old cocker spaniel). I have taken dog body language courses at my local shelter to help me be more aware of how dog communicate with people and other dogs. This knowledge allows me to keep your dog safe and comfortable. High need dogs are always welcome and if your note to your dog watcher is a booklet I'm your girl! The more I know about your dog the better care I can provide so information is always welcome! My job is to provide care, keep your dog on their schedule and maintain the training you worked hard to provide your dog with. Looking forward to helping care for your furry family! I am a RN so my schedule is flexible, as long as i have a few days notice I can work with your schedule and we can figure out a plan for your pet! When providing care to your pet I will be present and active with them. I usually provide update pictures so you know they are doing okay and to provide peace of mind. Any specific care instructions provided i will be happy to follow, you need me to sit with them while they eat no problem! I have to sing them a so g before I put their food down, Im happy to! No ask is too much!
“Lyndsay was a godsend! She is exactly the animal-loving professional that we were seeking. She went above and beyond while taking care of our cat and dog, including grabbing mail, packages, and newspaper deliveries. She is warm, friendly, and nurturing to our animals. She was prompt and gave our pets the human touch they needed with us away. We received a daily update and photos and videos of our animals on every visit and I know they felt comfortable with her. Lyndsay is a strong communicator, asking clarification questions and thinking of every detail. I give Lyndsay my highest recommendation and she will be my first phone call the next time we need pet-sitting!”

“We have a very timid dog and Yani was able to coax her outside and her first visit with our dogs. Such a relief to have found a sitter that helps with an anxious dog. Pictures and updates during the visit”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
