“This is our first time using Rover & Taylor! 10/10 on the first try. Definitely a keeper. I was extremely nervous and Taylor put me at ease. It normally takes a long time for our zoo to like people. She came for introductions before we left. Our babies took to her almost instantly. (Almost for Beth, she lets you know when. She is the baby). They were good with her before she left for the first time meeting. Y’all need a run down of our Zoo. Bella 7y (Momma’s girl - you need her trust) German Shepherd, Sarge 13y(Needy Grumpy Old Man puppy) English Bulldog, AnnaBeth 5y (Moose of the house & Protector from Ibis flocks - all other birds are ok in her book!) St. Bernard, Rocky 19y laid back cat & BeauxRay (rescue)Yellow Naped Amazon - only loves mom…gave pretty eyes and did the cat walk show off and didn’t hiss. Taylor did amazing while we were gone. She sent pictures and kept us in the loop with everything. The best is when Beth accepted Taylor into the pack!! With that being said; We have officially named Taylor our Unicorn Queen!”

“Erica was wonderful with our cat Monte. The pictures we received during the visit held us over until we got home, and Monte was always happy to see her every day. Care and attention were taken, excellent all around. Would recommend Erica for any pet!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of any kind since i was around 13. I love them unconditionally, they bring happiness to everyone. I have my own dogs, bigger breeds, and occasionally dogsit for my sister when she’s out of town! this is my full time! so i have plenty of time to make it everywhere i need to be! i make this my top priority day in and day out! my dogs are free roam in the house, trained and well behaved. my cat is also free roam and is well behaved, and likes almost everyone! if your animals are crate trained, that’s fine! your house your rules! i always stick to what the owners prefer, like, etc. for their animal. i never go the route of sticking to my own rules, it’s not my animal, the owner knows best!
About: Any day I meet a new set of paws is a good day. I’m happy to help you and your fur babies however I can, I have 3 Italian grey hounds at home and quite a few cats. I promised I wouldn’t bring anymore animals home so I decided to join rover to make some money and give the extra love I have to other animals whose parents might need a helping hand. I’ve had experience taking care of animals my whole life at home but as well as pet sitting and drop in visits with my big sister ever since I was 11. If I’m ever not comfortable or sure of something I will let you know immediately or if you think I’m not a good fit that’s ok, because your pet comes first I’m currently searching for a job and my schedule is open for drop in visits , walks, even just play brakes to get out some energy of my own. I’m also available for house sitting. I treat every animal as if it is my own you may tell me your animals name but there’s a good chance I’ll be calling them something else. I have no problem calling and letting you see your pets in fact I due it with my own pets, I have experienced giving medication, following specific instructions, and being on schedules. I love hearing about your pets special traits and quirks.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life and have family that has all different kinds of pets! Dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, you name it! I’ve always loved animals and taking care of them. I just graduated high school at Mariner High School with Bright Futures and will be attending FAU in August! I’m currently working as a Food Runner at Slipaway in Cape Coral. I’m very responsible about making sure my dog is fed, entertained, and healthy which I would do for any animal. I always love to play with my friend’s animals when I visit because I see how much they love the connection too!

About: Since I have been born I have been around pets of all kinds. I have had dogs, lizards, cats, and even horses. From fostering puppies/kittens, taking in strays, and raising/training my own puppies, I understand the love, appreciation, and care everyone has for their desired pet. I will ensure that under my care your pet is taken extremely good care of, I would be in immediate contact if anything strange or wrong occurs, and I would act if your pet were my own! Currently I have freshly graduated from college with much free time on my hands. I am willing to drive to and from your house to take care of pets or even sleepover if needed. As I mentioned, I have never been without a pet in my life time. I currently have 2 dogs and a cat, so I will not be taking in any animals at this time. However, I am more than able to travel to ensure pets needs are taken care of. I am willing to follow all rules, routines, and procedures for your pet to the EXACT to ensure your pet is safe and comfortable while you are away. I am currently based in Cape Coral.
“I felt relieved to have Lizzy providing care and companionship with my dogs. My dogs have quirks but didn’t phase her. Accepted, worked with it, and the dogs were well cared for. Dogs and I would choose her again.”

About: I have loved caring for animals since I was a child. Walking and feeding our German Shepherd was my favorite part of the day. We also had a Chow and one feline. Training Rocky the rottweiler to remain calm while bunnies passed through the yard is my biggest accomplishment, thus far. I love working with animals and their energy. On Thursday morning I teach guided Meditation but make my own schedule other than that. I'm up early to watch the sun rise and greet all the neighbors and pups. Animals prefer and are most comfortable being in their own environment with the scent of loved ones surrounding them. I respect their boundaries and connect with their energy softly and respectfully.
About: CLEAN, NON SMOKING, HOME – Private Fenced Yard ~ Dog sitting is part of my business called Gail’s Personal Assistant Services. Please INCLUDE A CONTACT NUMBER IN YOUR INITIAL MESSAGE. I prefer communicating by phone or text. I have two small dogs, a Havashu and a Westie. My back yard is fenced and safe. I sit for many clients who come to the island and stay at inns that do not allow dogs. I have great references. It’s nice to know that while you are here playing, your fur-baby is also having a grand time. Why I love dog sitting I have been a dog lover all my life. I should say I am an animal lover. I've had cats in my past also. My mother had dogs in our home, so I was raised with them. About my yard It is a fenced in yard, not too large, but big enough for them to play and run around. My experience administering medication Yes. As I have two pups of my own, I have experience in doing this job. I have administered medication to my client's pups when they needed it. My Overnight Stays An overnight stay is 24 hours. If you are gone over the 24 hour period for the one stay, then there is an additional charge for a day care stay. I have loads of time to play with your pups! I'm home most of the time except for some errands. They will love it here with my two! I let my pet run free and they are allowed to sleep with me. I can also crate your pet if that is how you have trained him/her.
“Wonderful and caring support from Marina. She is attentive and aware of what our pups need. Our dogs love her! A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Pineland. On Rover:
- 91% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 94% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
