About: I have fostered Bichons thru Bichon Fur Kids Rescue in addition to previous dog sitting. I have also shown in AKC dog shows. Love dogs ! I am available 7 days a week. I prefer over-nights at my home. I am retired and have one 15 year old Bichon that loves playmates. I have a fenced yard and an unused tennis court to let the dogs run in. Walking on leash in the park is fun too.
“My little man Brady absolutely loved his time with Lucy and Stella. Huge thanks to Taylor and Andrew I can’t say enough good things! Being able to be absent without the stress of his well being is priceless. This was our first time using Rover and couldn’t be happier. We will absolutely be back sooner than later!”

“Tater & Gemma loved spending time at Jennifer’s! They’re puppies and they got new experiences annd socialization and came home happy and tired. Gemma cuddled up with Jennifer at pick up, so I know she felt the love in Jennifer’s home. To top it off, both pups required meds and some extra attention to stitches and staples (darn puppies), and Jennifer was happy to tend to those needs. I’ve already booked another stay with Jennifer!”

“A big thanks for another fun day! My husband and I really appreciate Semran’s attention to detail and TLC for Manny. And we wanted to add an extra star for last week’s care!⭐️ Thank you!”

“Madison & Moses are awesome! So easy to communicate with and both have a great, calm energy that was perfect for helping my shy, anxious, rescue pittie feel right at home. It’s clear they’re both well-versed in dog behavior and I appreciate that they met my dog right where she was at. They had no issues giving her the time, space and patience needed to open up in her own time - it made all the difference. Thankful to have found them!”

“I can tell our pup Mochi had a great time with Christina and her fiance, They took him out on a few walks, and gave him lots of attention! Great communication and sent us lots of pictures!”

About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember, and that passion has only grown over the years. As a proud dog mom for more than 15 years, caring for furbabies brings me so much joy—it's truly my dopamine! Whether it's walks, playtime, cuddles, or providing a safe and loving environment, I treat every pet like family and care for them as if they were my own. Pet care isn't just something I fit into my daily schedule, it's a part of my lifestyle and something that truly brings me joy 🐾 As a devoted dog mom with over 15 years of experience, my days and nights naturally revolve around caring for my furbabies, providing love, attention, playtime, and plenty of cuddles. Welcoming your precious pup for a petcation fits perfectly into my routine because caring for animals is already second nature to me. I enjoy making every furbaby feel safe, comfortable, loved, and part of the family. Whether it's walks, playtime, relaxation, or extra TLC, I'll make sure your baby enjoys a little vacation of their own while you're away. Your baby won't just be a guest, they will be part of our family🐶💕 My home is central air-conditioned and heating. My backyard is fully fenced in. I work from home and have plenty of space for them to roam around, play and get comfy.Crates in our home are used as luxuries if they wanna nap or have personal space . They are also used for feeding time if they are a food protector. I enjoy giving them individual attention. Every pet requires different things and I like to learn them to cater to their needs.

About: Growing up I have always had dogs on the property and consider them part of the family. I believe a well trained dog is loved by its owner. I am an animal lover who want to help those who have a hard time with placement. I enjoy spending time with other people's pets because I am unable to have one for myself at this time. I am currently retired so I have time to spend with them daily. I can take them to parks, beach, lakes, etc. Depends on breed and how active they are. I have aquariums, reptiles and my extended family has dogs that I am frequently around. I have had exotic, elderly, injured and sick pets in my care. I foster for the Humane Society periodically and adjust my home according to the pets needs.
About: We've had 30 years experience raising and training multiple breeds of dogs mostly in huskies, labs, and akitas we also help with leash walking, sitting, and more. We also bath animals if needed We have kennels in our backyard, and we have several dogs of our own as well as boarding other dogs for friends and neighbors making a daily routine in our lives. Our facilities have automatic food and waters dispensers and insulated kennels. First thing in the morning picking up animal waste and kennel preparation is performed, then dogs are walked, then they are played with by my self if given permission from owners. They will be given opportunity to run free in the big yard and then returned to their personal kennels in the evening. Food and water is provided unless given a specialized diet provided by pets owner.

That’s intentional. It lets me plan each day around your pet’s routine instead of fitting them in between other bookings. I’m available every day of the week for boarding, house sitting, daycare, drop-in visits, and walks. Meals, medications, walks, and rest happen at the times your pet is used to, so their days feel familiar even while you’re away. Your dog stays in my house with a fenced yard, in a calm residential area with walking trails nearby. It’s a small, quiet home, best for small and medium dogs with a calm to moderate energy level. I unfortunately do not accept aggressive or reactive dogs, which keeps every guest and my senior Chihuahua safe and relaxed. I keep doors and gates secure, always use a leash outdoors, and follow your routine, whether that means crating or joining us on the couch.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Pine Valley commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
