About: Hi! I'm new to the Rover app, but I'm not new to caring for animals. I've always had a natural connection with animals and they seem to gravitate toward me wherever I go. I’m a stay at home mom of a 3 and 5 year old so I am always home and always active and my fiance is home while I run errands. We have a decent size fenced yard where your animal can get some energy out while staying safe. I truly believe animals are family, and I care for every pet as if they were my own child. I'm highly communicative, reliable, and genuinely empathetic. I pay close attention to each pet's unique personality and needs, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. About: I have been a dog and cat owner for over 20 years. My husband and 3 kids also love being around and caring for animals. I have regularly pet sat for friends for many years. I am a stay at home mom. I am home alone during the day, picking up my kids from school at 3:30 Monday - Friday. A few days a week I am required to drop my kids off at soccer practice after school. I have a fenced one acre property. I have an adult golden retriever that loves to play with other dogs and gets along well with cats. I have a large crate if needed as well.

About: Growing up I have always had dogs on the property and consider them part of the family. I believe a well trained dog is loved by its owner. I am an animal lover who want to help those who have a hard time with placement. I enjoy spending time with other people's pets because I am unable to have one for myself at this time. I am currently retired so I have time to spend with them daily. I can take them to parks, beach, lakes, etc. Depends on breed and how active they are. I have aquariums, reptiles and my extended family has dogs that I am frequently around. I have had exotic, elderly, injured and sick pets in my care. I foster for the Humane Society periodically and adjust my home according to the pets needs.

About: I am in the San Diego area currently working a remote job, looking to spend some quality time with dogs who need all the TLC they deserve but can’t get while their owners are away. I’m available for pet sitting, walking, and drop-ins! I’ve always grown up with a family dog in the house who I absolutely adored and have an undeniable love for all animals. I’d be available for last-minute help and cancellations are fine with me as well, so long as I’m given a heads up in an appropriate time in advance. About: I grew up with a house full of animals: a black lab, chickens, goats, bunnies, turtles, snakes, and guinea pigs. That meant daily feeding routines, extensive coop and cage cleaning, all different types of playtime, and learning to read each animal's mood and body language, from a nervous rabbit to an excited lab. Because I grew up with such a wide mix, I adapt fast and pay close attention to what each individual animal needs. Dogs are where I feel most at home. I've always had a natural connection with them, and they tend to warm up to me right away. I know how to read a dog's energy, give them the attention and exercise they need, and make sure they feel comfortable and safe while their owners are away. For me, this isn't just a job. It's genuinely one of my favorite things to do! I recently graduated and am currently job searching, which means I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time and energy to give to pet care right now. I'm able to offer consistent attention throughout the day, whether that's multiple walks, playtime, or just being present, without having to squeeze visits around a 9-to-5. It's a great season for me to be really available and engaged for your dog, and I'll keep my profile updated as my schedule evolves. On walks and drop-in visits, your dog stays on their normal routine, same feeding times, same walk schedule, plus any specific instructions you leave me. I always check the space first so everything stays exactly as you left it. When your dog boards at my place, they get my full attention with no other pets around to compete for space or affection. My yard isn't fenced, so outdoor time is on leash to keep things safe, and indoors I keep things calm and familiar so the stay doesn't feel disruptive. Throughout any visit, I'm watching your dog's body language and energy, not just going through the motions, so I can catch anything off and keep them comfortable the whole time. Depending on your preference, I'll also send photo or text updates so you can see how they're doing while you're away.

About: I’m patient, dependable, and truly care about each pet’s happiness. I’m experienced with both energetic puppies and senior pets who need extra care and comfort. Pet care is something I love to make time for. I’m flexible and happy to work around your schedule so your pets are always cared for when you need. Safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a front yard and a fenced backyard where pets can explore safely under supervision. My senior cat is very laid-back, so your pet can enjoy a calm, friendly atmosphere while in my care.

About: I only accept one doggie family at a time, so your dog(s) will be the only ones here for boarding and doggie day care. I wanted to create a safe place for reactive dogs, little loners, and calm senior doggies who just want a place they can be themselves and have my full attention! I am a dog-lover with my whole life of experience in caring for them. I have had them in all shapes and sizes - my first two dogs being big German Shepherds to my last dog which was a little Maltipoo, and a few in between. I have potty trained quite a few dogs in my life, as well as helped them through their senior years. Most important of all, I will love your pets like they're my own children! 🩷 I'm currently working part time from home so I have plenty of availability to take your pup outside for potty breaks or walks and give them attention throughout the day. I have a safe, fenced yard with plenty of room for sniffing and sunshine. Big dogs will have room to run and fetch. I also have senior dog care items like a step to get on the couch. I allow dogs to be free in the house, they are never crated unless the owner specifically requests it as part of their nightly routine. In that case - I have a long gate that can be made into a pen, and a cage for a small dog, if requested. Pets are family here - I have always allowed my own pets on the couch or bed and will do the same for yours unless you prefer otherwise.

About: I am a pediatric physical therapist by day and aspiring stay at home dog mom all the time. I have two little furry monsters of my own, a rescue tripod and a pointer mix. I take them all over hiking, to the beach, to the park, and they would love the company of your little furry friends too! My dogs get free range of my house and yard when I’m home and a large open living area when I’m gone. I’ve had dogs all my life and love all of them, big or small. I’ve taught my dogs some tricks and continually work on reward based training for better behavior and obedience if you are interested in that during my time with your pup! Someone is usually home or in and out every day. We wake up early for breakfast and to play and go on walks. On weekends when we are home all day we like to go on adventures and the dogs have free reign of the yard all day, but we can also keep yours more contained if they are a flight risk! I have a fenced yard to play outside and we will go on walks in the neighborhood. My dogs like to meet new friends. At my house they are allowed on the furniture

About: All friends and family know that when in need, I am the first to contact for dog sitting! I have always loved caring for all varieties of pups. :) On some weekends I help foster puppies from local shelters, and when not in school I help foster senior dogs as well! I recently graduated from SDSU, so now I am working Monday-Thursday! Unless it fits around my work schedule, I am typically mostly available just Fridays- Sundays. I will always try to be available for walks or drop ins, just let me know! I currently live with my roommate in the La Mesa area, and I have our home set up to accommodate all types of dogs! But having the opportunity to care for other dogs outside of my own home is always a plus :) I want to make sure your pup feels very comfortable, as if their parents never left. My goal is to make sure they feel safe and secure in their space, even with a new person around. I will always be attentive to their needs and body language, and make sure they are happy and healthy.

I’ve cared for bouncy puppies who are still learning the rules (lots of patience, consistency, and treats for good choices) and sweet senior pets who need a slower pace and a gentle touch. Medications, special diets, picky eaters, training routines, house rules: I’m happy to follow whatever works for your pet and your home. My favorite part is getting to know each animal. Some want cuddles right away, some need a little time to warm up, and some just want their walk exactly on schedule. I pay attention to those little things so your pet feels at ease with me. I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos, and I’ll treat your pet the way I’d want someone to treat mine. Since my husband and I work from home, I’m around for most of the day. That means walks, playtime, meals, and plenty of company happen on your pet’s schedule, not squeezed around mine. Your pet won’t be left alone for long stretches. They’ll have someone nearby to keep an eye on them, play with them, or just hang out on the couch with them. When your pet stays with me, I try to keep their days feeling as normal as possible. Same meal times, same walks, same meds, and I’m happy to follow your rules from home too (on the couch or off, crate at night, whatever they’re used to). Familiar routines go a long way toward helping pets settle into a new place. I adjust to each pet’s personality. High-energy pups get extra play and longer walks, and mellow ones get more downtime and snuggles. Everyone gets some quiet time to rest. I keep a close eye on how they’re eating, acting, and feeling, so if anything seems off, I’ll notice and let you know right away. You’ll get regular photos and updates so you can relax and enjoy your time away, knowing your pet is happy, comfortable, and well cared for in my home.

About: I started my career early volunteering as a teenager at the local humane society. ❤️ Working at the humane society we had dogs and kitties from every background come our way, and it was our job to take care of them, help them grow, and make sure they were comfortable every single day. My experience includes 15 years of taking care of puppies, mid-age doggies and elderly doggies of all sizes. On top of professional time spent with doggies my family dogs were a big beautiful boxer bull mastiff named Layla, and a little Sheltie named Lady. I now have a one year old Golden Sammy named Zena.
