About: I have been around dogs my entire life and understand that every dog has their own unique personality, needs, and routine. As a current dog owner to my energetic 1½-year-old dog, I have hands-on experience with daily walks, exercise, training reinforcement, feeding schedules, and providing lots of love and attention. Growing up with dogs taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and creating a safe, comfortable environment where pets can thrive. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. Whether your dog needs a walk, drop-in visit, or companionship while you’re away, I’ll make sure they receive attentive care, plenty of affection, and regular updates so you can feel confident they’re in good hands. 🐾 I work as a professional rider and spend much of my day caring for and working with horses, which has given me extensive experience handling animals and maintaining consistent care routines. My schedule can vary depending on training and horse show commitments, but I do my best to keep my Rover calendar up to date and am often available for dog walks, drop-in visits, and pet sitting throughout the week. I always make safety and comfort my top priority when caring for pets. I pay close attention to each dog’s personality and routine so they feel relaxed and secure while I’m with them. I’ve grown up around animals and currently work around horses, so I’m very used to reading animal behavior and staying calm and responsible in different situations. I bring that same mindset to every dog I care for.

About: I’ve been pet sitting for over three years. I’ve had various experiences with dogs and cats. As someone who has a dog of their own, I’ve been able to observe behaviors that’s helped when taking care of other dogs, to understand their needs and wants. I currently work remotely however, it doesn’t take time away when it comes to the fur babies! In fact, it allows me to be present and give them the much needed attention. About: I grew up taking care of my dog Waggles for 15 years. Have had other dogs and have taken care of friends dogs as well. Could help during the week and on weekends anytime. Happy to walk, care for and house pets overnight. Lots of love for cats and dogs. Our last cat was an indoor cat, but we have had outdoor ones as well. Happy to walk and play with dogs inside and out.

“I don’t doubt that Thomas doesn’t absolutely bring a smile to Quilly’s face & that he dotes on her. My only feedback is that I would encourage more sitter initiated communication (using the Rover chat function or close to real time check in & out functions on the app, there’s a function where it lets me know she’s used the bathroom or got fed in the app report. I definitely panicked today because I wasn’t sure if Thomas had arrived and saw Quilly yet. He had been at my home for a bit but I wasn’t sure. I don’t have camera inside. )”

About: I’m a really active individual and love being outside as much as possible! I have dog sat for various families with varying ages of dogs. I have no pets, so my full attention is for your pet! I’m a grad student at UConn for physical therapy. I live at home, and my class schedule is very light this semester. I will be around most hours of the day to care for your pet. I have a decent sized yard for your pets to get running time. I go on walks on bike paths and hiking trails often, and I would love some company!

About: I have been surrounded by animals since I was little, and not just family pets. While I grew up in a golden retriever family (on golden 4 now), I also currently have a cat, have had fish, guinea pigs, and bunnies. I have worked and volunteered at local farms, and bathed, groomed, fed, and played with all sorts of animals, and am equipped for a variety of animal care services. I also have lots of experience with pets of friends and family, and dog sitting, and get along well with all! I am recently graduated and back home in CT for the foreseeable future. I have a very flexible schedule, so please reach out with any requests and I am sure I can make it work. I am very good at tending to animals needs, but also going beyond. I know how to play with animals and help even the shyest feel comfortable, whether with treats, playtime, cuddles, or even my dog’s personal favorite - classical music! I am good with animals who are fearful as much as I am good with animals bursting with energy. I am able to feed dogs and cats and any pet, make sure they always have water available, give them potty breaks and walks, and playtime and rest time as needed. And of course, I am always happy to just sit and keep animals company - they need it as much as we do!
