About: I’ve been certified as a Vet Assistant, I am also currently in school for my license as a Vet Technician. I’m very confident that I will be a safe environment for your furry friends! I’m currently a student so weekends will be more manageable for me, In case of any emergencies of course I can make accommodations during weekdays. I’ve had more than 11 animals my whole life growing up (5 dogs) (4 cats) (2 two fish) I would say I’m extremely experienced in caring for animals. Professionally my experience would be under a year as I am still in school, I live on 67 acres and a large yard which will give your dog enough room to run with the wind and enjoy the fresh air.

She gave thorough updates and sent lots of pictures which we really appreciated. She spent time giving our cat extra attention and affection which was such a comfort to us. She successfully got him to take his pills and liquid medication which can be a challenge sometimes. She definitely has good attention to detail and noticed that he had a preference for one flavor of food and ate it with the medication more easily, something we hadn’t even noticed! About: Ive had pets (dogs, cats, fish-oh my!) since I was very young, so I truly understand the meaning of our pets are family. My professional experience comes from the last 5 years as a marine mammal trainer and zookeeper! I have the deepest compassion for animals of all shapes and sizes, from exercise to medical care, to behavioral study…I have done all things animals! I’m currently working part time, so I have ample room in my schedule to come hang with your beloved pet! I am a very active person and would love to take them for walks if that is in their wheelhouse! I have my own sweet old lady Maltese at home, who absolutely adores her own personal space. That being said I am not currently accepting boarding or visits in my own home, but am more than happy to come to yours!

This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
