About: For 2 years I’ve took care of my neighbors dogs by letting them out, feeding them and playing with them. I love animals and I grew up in a household filled with animals. I believe a dog is a humans best friend and I’d love the opportunity to get to know you and your animal! I currently work nights at publix as a grocery stock clerk. I am very flexible and will be able to let your animals out and care for them whenever you need. I would love your trust to take care of them. I take my dog milo for a walk everyday when I get home so that way he gets most of his energy out and then he will lay down and relax for a little bit before wanting to play. I feed him twice a day and give him a bath once a week.

“My fur child Ben loved Cheryl! She walked a 100 lb lap dog weekday mornings for two weeks, and he was very happy. Cheryl was prompt, reliable, affectionate and attentive to our boy. I will check her availability again in June when I will need a couple more days. Thank you Cheryl!”

We lost our best friend fur baby a few years back and decided pet sitting would be a great way to give our love to pets without the heartbreak that comes from losing them. I am an SAHM and husband works from home so we are always around. We love to go on walks and also have a fenced in yard to play in. We love to give lots of cuddles and belly rubs. If there’s any special needs I’d be glad to help. If your dog needs love and care while you’re away, we are the family to give it. All breeds are welcome as long as they’re friendly. We hope to care for your fur baby soon. I am a stay at home mom so I am home to care For your baby, if I am not around my work from home husband will be. We make sure to ask all dog owners their dogs special needs, such as do they eat out of the trash so we can came sure it is always put away or If they eat anything reachable on the counter, always making sure nothing is left that they can get.
About: Walks, Wiggles & Belly Rubs Guaranteed ! Every dog has a unique temperament — playful, shy, energetic, or relaxed — and I adjust my approach to match. I’m patient, observant, and committed to building trust so your dog feels safe and understood.” I work from home, which allows me to offer flexible scheduling and consistent supervision. Caring for animals is already part of my everyday life. With my own cats and bearded dragon, I follow structured routines, and I bring that same level of consistency and attentiveness to every client. I make sure pets fit comfortably into my schedule — not the other way around I focus on creating a calm, safe, and structured environment whether pets are in my home or theirs. I work remotely, which allows me to provide steady supervision and flexible care throughout the day. I follow routines closely, monitor behavior carefully, and provide consistent communication so both pets and owners feel secure.
About: Hello! I’m a lifelong animal lover with a deep respect for all living creatures. I live in a spacious home on 1/3 acre with 2 securely fenced back yards ideal for pets to run, play and relax. I’ve been caring for various pets since I was 12. I’ve had fur babies my entire life (mostly Shih Tzus) and helped care for livestock on my grandparents’ farm. Over the years, I’ve taken care of many cats and just about every dog breed—from gentle giants like Saint Bernards to tiny Chihuahuas—and pets of all ages, from playful puppies to sweet seniors. I’m experienced with both short visits and extended care, having looked after pets anywhere from a single day up to two months, in both my home and my clients’ homes. I believe love, exercise, playtime, and structure are important for a pet’s happiness and well-being. Pet transportation is available as well. Most importantly, I’ll love and care for your pets as if they were my own. My goal is always to make them feel safe, comfortable, and truly at home. I can send daily photo and video updates to keep you connected. Contact me to discuss your pets needs and arrange a meet & greet. I set my own work schedule but my goal is to pet care full time so I’m now currently fully available all days and hours. I have a large and small fenced yards in a quiet safe neighborhood great for walks. Furry friends are welcome on my sectional and in my pool if approved. My home is peaceful and calming. Whether in my home or yours they’re my priority and will be safely and lovingly cared for exactly as you request.
About: I grew up helping my grandparents take care of their rescues. Feeding, bathing, and walking them as well as vet trips. Because of growing up around animals I now have two dogs and three cats. I currently work 40 hours a week, however because my schedule has me working nights, and it’s a set schedule, it’s easy to help someone care for their pets. Growing up around dogs and dog sitting for a friend, I know how to treat dogs and know that all dogs are different. I’m willing to stick to a schedule if need be.
About: I know what it's like to hand your dog over to someone else — that flicker of worry, even when you trust them. Our dogs aren't just pets. They're family. They greet us at the door like we've been gone for years, they curl up next to us on the hard days, and they love us without any conditions at all. Trusting someone else with that is not a small thing. So here's what I want you to know: when I'm with your dog, I'm not just watching them — I'm watching out for them. Every walk, every outing, every minute we spend together, I take seriously. Not because it's a job, but because I know exactly what it means to love a dog like family, and I know what it means to be the one responsible for them when you can't be. My goal isn't just to keep your dog safe. It's to give you real peace of mind — so that wherever you are, you can stop thinking about whether they're okay, and just know they are. Loved, looked after, and genuinely cared for, the same way I'd want someone to care for mine. Your fur baby is in good hands. I won't take that lightly. More information about me: Dogs have been part of my life since I was 10 years old, when I got my first German Shepherd Dog puppy named Storm. I built him a pen in the laundry room — and slept in there with him for weeks, just to keep him company. That was the start of it. Since then, I've owned and raised about a dozen German Shepherd Dogs, and I've trained dozens of dogs over the years for myself, friends, and family. Today my pack is three: my two German Shepherd Dogs; Ella (10) and Sadie (8), my Belgian Malinois, Mila (2.5). Living with working breeds has shaped how I think about exercise — it's not about wearing a dog out until they're panting. It's about engaging their mind as much as their body. That's the philosophy behind everything I offer. A walk should have a purpose. A trek should be an adventure, not just a loop around the block — somewhere new to sniff, explore, and think. Outing and training sessions build real confidence, not just compliance. I tailor every visit, every outing and every training session to your dog's personality and energy, whether that's a relaxed neighborhood walk, an early morning outing to beat the Florida heat, a solo trek to a trail or pet-friendly store, or focused training time. Multiple daily walks and custom treks are built around what works for your family — just ask. Based in Weeki Wachee, serving west Hernando County. I treat every dog I work with like one of my own. I am fully insured and will provide real references upon request. This is my full-time job — not a side gig, not something squeezed in around another career. When I'm with your dog, that's where my attention is. Every walk, every outing, every training session. Whether I'm in your home or out on a walk or trek, your dog gets my full, undivided attention — no other dogs, no distractions. I follow your routine and any instructions you give me for feeding, medication, or specific needs, and I treat your home with the same respect I'd want for my own: doors locked, things put back where they belong, and your dog's space left clean and comfortable. For walks and treks, I make sure water is available and accidents are cleaned up before I leave. For overnight stays, I keep your dog on their normal schedule as much as possible — same feeding times, same bedtime routine — so there's as little disruption to their world as I can manage. I'm also comfortable administering medication when needed. At the end of the day, my approach is simple: I treat every dog and every home like it's my own.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
