About: I have been dog sitting for years, most recently worked on farms with a variety of animals and dogs. Puppies, kittens, aggressive dogs & animals. Home with my baby. I am taking a break from teaching & caregiving. I miss working on farms & being with animals so I have been enjoying all my new Rover friends. I’ve been on here about a year now. Animal safety is the priority. I do not prioritize being on my phone or being distracted. I want to make sure that I have full care information for animal care because that has always made things go the smoothest. I would like to be informed & meet as well to make you feel comfortable! I am a new mom so I am longing to care for your fur babies & give the best scratches!
About: Walks, Wiggles & Belly Rubs Guaranteed ! Every dog has a unique temperament — playful, shy, energetic, or relaxed — and I adjust my approach to match. I’m patient, observant, and committed to building trust so your dog feels safe and understood.” I work from home, which allows me to offer flexible scheduling and consistent supervision. Caring for animals is already part of my everyday life. With my own cats and bearded dragon, I follow structured routines, and I bring that same level of consistency and attentiveness to every client. I make sure pets fit comfortably into my schedule — not the other way around I focus on creating a calm, safe, and structured environment whether pets are in my home or theirs. I work remotely, which allows me to provide steady supervision and flexible care throughout the day. I follow routines closely, monitor behavior carefully, and provide consistent communication so both pets and owners feel secure.
“Nanci did a fantastic job! I am a stickler and only want the best for my dog, as I’m sure is true with many people out there. Nanci treated Cheddar like one of her own pups and gave him a much needed break outside and some additional scratches and love. I highly recommend Nanci to the other high-strung pet parents out there!”

About: I am an animal lover. Since I can remember I have had pets and I am characterized by being very affectionate and always attentive to satisfying their needs. At this moment I am a housewife, so I can take care of and play with your baby as many times as necessary, I have 2 children who are also very affectionate with pets and I speak Spanish, my husband speaks English if you need to communicate in any of these 2 languages we are at your disposal I live in a house where I have a large patio, where I know your furry friend will enjoy being there.. If your pet needs any special care, let me know so I can give it the necessary care.
About: Ever since I was little my family has always owned some type of animal. We’ve owned 4 English bulldogs, a cat, a hamster and 2 ferrets. Now, I myself own a 1 year old miniature dachshund named Franklin. I love taking care of all animals and making sure they get the proper care they need and more. I currently work about 30 hours a week. My schedule isn’t the same every week so depending on what time and days I work, I set aside time to make sure I can come and take care of any pets that need it, whether it’s on my days off, or before or after work. In my clients homes all pets will have clean fresh water and will be fed given the directions of the owner. The pets will also get plenty of exercise whether it’s playing in their backyard or going on a walk. Along with playing inside with their toys. I also make sure that pets feel comfortable in their own home and will make sure they get lots of love and attention.
“Karma did a wonderful job taking care of our dogs on short notice. She spent extra time making sure they felt loved after each walk, leaving them content and reassured. We came home to happy dogs, a huge relief for my wife and I. We would recommend Karma to anyone.”

About: Hi! My name’s Kristen! I’ve been raising dogs since I was a child. I’ve cared for dogs as small as Chihuahuas to dogs as big as Border Collies, though I’m willing to care for larger dogs. There’s nothing I love more than caring for dogs! I’ve tended to walk dogs regularly (every 3-5 hours), and absolutely adore playing with them! Alongside my experience with dogs, I’ve also taken care of cats in the past, only for about a year. Throughout pet raising/pet-sitting days, I’ve raised 3 dogs and cared for 2 cats. I’m willing to care for any pet, no matter their temperament or energy levels. I look forward to pet-sitting/walking for you! I am currently seeking for a job, but that can only mean more time to spend with your pets! I am available whenever need be, and look forward to watching your fur babies for you :) In my home environments, I’ve always kept dogs’ and cats’ safety, as well as owners’ boundaries, my main priority. If there’s a part of the house closed off for the pet, for whatever the reason may be, I’m always willing to ensure that the pet and your home are safe. I’m very familiar with pet-proofing, as well. I.E - putting away shoes so they won’t get chewed up, or keeping trash lids on, so that there’s no mess. Again, pet safety and owners’ boundaries are extremely important to me and I will follow any rule you may have to make sure all is well in your home and around your pet.

About: For the past 20 years, I've had the joy of owning and caring for three wonderful dogs, each with their own unique personality and needs. Through every stage of their lives—from playful puppies to their senior years—I learned the importance of patience, consistency, love, and attentive care. My experience has taught me how to recognize a fur-baby's individual needs, provide a safe and comfortable environment, and make sure they feel happy, loved, and secure while their families are away. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else's care, and I treat every fur-baby as if they were my own. I work full-time from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with Tuesdays and Saturdays off. Before work, I make time to care for my own dog by taking her outside, going for a walk, and spending quality time together. After work, we enjoy another walk, playtime, and plenty of attention. On my days off, I have a more flexible schedule and enjoy taking longer walks with my dog, playing with her, and keeping up with everyday household chores. I understand the importance of maintaining a pet's routine and making sure they receive the love, exercise, and care they need. Whether it's a walk, playtime, feeding, or simply providing companionship, I'm committed to treating every pet like part of my own family. When caring for pets in their own home, I treat them with the same love, patience, and respect that I give my own dog. I know that staying in their familiar environment helps pets feel safe and comfortable, so I do my best to keep their daily routine as consistent as possible. I'll follow your care instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, fresh water, medications (if needed), and plenty of affection. I also respect your home, keeping it clean, secure, and exactly as you left it. My goal is to provide dependable, compassionate care so your pets feel loved while you're away and you can have peace of mind knowing they're in good hands.

I am in school to become a Vet Tech. I have only 3 weeks left until the semester ends and I can do any during the summer. I have two cats so I would prefer just walking them but if they’re good with cats I’ll sit them for a couple hours.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
