“Candice was wonderful!! She took great care of our cat Josephine while we were out of town. She even brought in packages off our front porch and waded through a foot of snow in our unplowed driveway. Can’t recommend her enough and we will definitely use her again!! 🐱🐱🐱🐱”

“Excellent communication and very thorough during first meeting - even remembered to ask about medications (good thing since I neglected to mention it). Happy cat & guinea pig upon our return. Will definitely book again!”

“Michelle is simply just lovely. Prompt (early actually). Caring. Very sweet w our pets and attentive to our endless direction with our special needs dog as well as our cats. All of our animals are rescues from abusive situations so we are protective. She got that immediately without having to say a word.”

“Courtney was amazing with our cats. She went above and beyond while taking care of them and made sure our older cat got her medicine. She was also a great communicator and was able to help us out on very short notice. I would definitely recommend her!”

“Tasha was great! Accepted and responded to my request in a very timely manner. She was great with my dog Jax and fulfilled everything I could ask for in a dog sitter. I would definitely recommend and would use again in the future!”

“Abby helped us with daily drop-ins for one week to care for our cats and she was terrific. She met us in advance to understand what our cats needed and then kept us updated everyday while we were away. It was wonderful knowing that our cats were so well taken care of. Abby is wonderful.”

About: Hello! My name is Kerin, and caring for dogs has always been a passion deeply rooted in my family. My family and I run a rescue organization, Pooches Out of Puerto Rico, where I’ve had the opportunity to work with dogs of all temperaments and needs—from playful, energetic companions to those requiring extra patience due to fear, trauma, or pain. With extensive hands-on experience, I am dedicated to providing compassionate, reliable care for every dog as if they were my own. Whether your pet needs daily walks, playtime at the park, or personalized attention while you’re away, I am committed to making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. Whether you’re planning a long vacation or just a quick getaway, I would love to help care for your furry family members. Fenced yard or not, I can accommodate your dog’s individual needs and routine. And of course, you can always expect photo updates while you’re away for peace of mind! Please feel free to DM me so we can discuss scheduling and create the perfect care plan for your pets. I look forward to meeting you and your four-legged family members! DM me so we can chat about scheduling you a vacation whether it’s a long, extravagant trip or a short sweet little trip. I’m your girl and can’t wait to hear from you! It doesn’t matter if you have a fence or not. I can take your dog/s out for walks or go to play parks. You tell me what they and it consider it already done! Of course expect some pictures while your away!
“Dakota is a lovely and attentive caregiver. My older lady cat needs a daily visit and Dakota was thoughtful and great in her communication. Odie was much more happy and relaxed when I returned. Will definitely work with Dakota again!”

About: I had a dog in my family for around 10 years. He was really the best. It was so fun to watch him grow up and take care of him through it all. I absolutely adore animals and love to give them attention, play with them and learn with them. I work full time but have different hours and sometimes will be available in the mornings, sometimes the middle of the day, and sometimes weekends! I will always have time for animals. I provide a safe and comforting environment for dogs and humans alike. I am very considerate and observant of everything around me so I will always make sure everyone is safe and having a great time with everything they need. I am very respectful of people’s space and always make sure to leave things the way I found them.
About: I have lived with dogs for all my life, friends, family and neighbors have trusted me with there animals. They trust me to feed, walk, and care for them for weeks at a time. I have had puppies to old dogs that have all live long happy healthy lives. I am currently a student at the culinary institute of America, I am Available every morning for walks and care. I am available on weekends as well. I am comfortable driving animals, I grew up with dogs and love meeting new people. I currently rent a house, we are a safe environment for animals but our landlord would prefer not to have animals in the house. I have a car and I am comfortable traveling with animals.
About: I have worked with herding dogs, guard dogs, sled dogs, service dogs, and pets of all ages. I treat dogs with patience and compassion and believe in training the individual dog in front of me with their owner’s goals at the forefront! I have thousands of hours of hands on experience and countless hours researching training and animal behavior. I am a self-employed artist so my schedule is very flexible. I am happy to go into more detail about my living habits and daily schedule. My dog doesn’t “get into” anything he shouldn’t— including “stealing” his own food and treats, but through experience with my own puppies and client dogs I am well versed in taking extensive precautions to ensure the safety of animals in my home. I will not allow client dogs off leash but I have a 50 foot leash that is excellent for hiking with dogs. I am very observant of potential health issues/injuries. I am happy to expand upon the safety measures I take.
About: I adore animals. I have grown up with cats and dogs my entire life. When I did not have a pet of my own I always have asked friends and family to take care of their pets when in need. People have always relied on me with their animals as they know I show love and I am very attentive. I have mostly trained my young puppy who has a lot of energy, with the help of a few wonderful sitters. I understand behavioral training, being kind but firm. Teaching with kindness and showing the animals the way rather than teaching in fear. I give a lot of attention and am able to read their body language well. I work freelance so I am available intermittently. But when I am available for sitting I am present to give the animal full time care, so if you have an animal who has separation anxiety and doesn't I take the dogs out first thing in the morning for an hour sometimes even 2 hour run in the park. a few small walks in the day and another longer walk or run in the afternoon. I also love to take the dogs on hikes. I do not have a crate as I did not do crate training with my dog but if you want to provide one I am happy to. My apartment is puppy/dog proof. I have a big yard although it is not fenced on one side so I always watch the dogs when I am out there. I have a nice big dog park near my place. I am currently working freelance, as previously mentioned. Reach out to me and I will tell you when/if I am available. I really enjoy animals company and I work in the city so this is something I like to do when I am home in Hudson and not working. I do allow my dog on the bed and couch in my own home, but I do encourage him to sit on his own bed. I can follow any rules that you wish that aligns with you and your pets needs.
About: I have taken care of my own dog for his whole life until he passed early this year. I have dog sat for friends, family, and coworkers a lot and have taken them for walks or stayed the night! I am in grad school currently and will be able to stay over on the weekends and play with the dogs anytime after 4 in the upcoming semester! I am used to crating dogs and taking them for sage walks, especially in the winter and summer months. I love to give a routine and will make sure to follow all guidelines provided!
