I discovered my love for all animals during my two year veterinary assistant training I took in high school. I went on to work at a local vet clinic after high school where I cared for dogs, cats, rabbits, and rats of all ages and abilities. I was also very fortunate to learn the basics of caring for toads, turtles, snakes, and chickens as I worked at a 4-H Center for a year.
