About: I’ve been really enjoying working with and meeting new dogs on the side! We would listen to calming music, go on morning and night walks, have training sessions, and whatever else your dog is into :) I believe dogs enjoy my calm yet present presence. I am available for daily walks or check-ins from 6 am to 12:30 pm and my off days are Sundays and Mondays where I can be free all day for your pup :) I work 6 hour shifts Tuesday-Saturday, so, if your dog can be left alone for roughly 6.5 hours, I would love to and am potentially able to board your dog(s) everyday of the week! While dog sitting, I make sure to respect the space by being clean and really enjoy cozying up with dogs and emphasize being present and calm with dogs. It would be a mix of lounging and exercise.

About: I’ve taken care of people’s pets for over 15 years. Dog sitting, long-term pet sitting, walking, bathing, swimming. Love to take spoil pets and take them on adventures or simply walk them in the neighborhood. I am currently taking all times and dates. Little notice required if I am available. Any time any date I am here to care for your pet when you can’t. I unfortunately can’t take pets in my home due to my cat who doesn’t share my love for dogs. In your home I will care for your dog as you do. Clients have told me their dog is depressed after leaving me! Bittersweet.

About: I have been a dog lover for many years and I specialize in mindfulness walking therefor allowing the dog as much time to sniff as they possibly could want. It has been proven that 10 minutes of sniffing is equivalent to 20+ minutes of physical activity. I'm currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to play and walk dogs and take my time with their needs. I am finding work with more alignment to my soul and at the top of the list. I currently live in an apartment and cannot board any pets myself. But I have no problem treating all homes like the temples they are and respecting rules, procedures, and cleanliness.

In a client’s home, I’m respectful of their space and keep everything tidy. I pay close attention to doors, gates, and potential hazards, and I make sure pets are never left in unsafe situations. I also keep communication open with updates and photos, so owners always know their pets are happy and well cared for. My goal is to provide a dependable, nurturing environment where pets feel safe, understood, and loved while I’m caring for them.

About: I've worked at a doggy daycare and boarding. I have learned so many things about animals at my time spent there and they make me so happy. Being around animals is the best feeling in the world. So far my schedule is really open at this point in time. I have Wednesdays and Thursdays off. I would like to be notified early if plans change. I will care for the pets in the clients home and walk the dogs as well. I will ask the client if they have any special routines for their pet and how they feed them.

About: I’ve always had animals all of my life and have assisted in taking care of them more and more in the recent years. I also have some general volunteering with specifically the cats at the humane society and assisting in socializing them with humans. I currently am not yet employed but am searching around for potential part-time jobs or other ways to make money for the summer so as of now my schedule remains fairly flexible with only a few weekly commitments potentially altering exact times available. I remain flexible with the exact parameters you’d want with the service but with my own animals I feed them for their meals. Alongside that I scoop and refill my cats’ litter boxes. And while never my favorite I can clean up messes if a cat or dog gets sick or has an accident.

“This was our second time having Dawn do drop in visits with our cats. I appreciate all the photos, especially of them all playing. Dawn went above and beyond on this booking - when she went downstairs to the basement for the litter boxes the morning after a bad storm, she discovered our basement was flooded. She called us right away and offered to get a box and some litter for our cats which was greatly appreciated. It's clear that Dawn's first priority is our cats, and that makes her a wonderful sitter.”

About: Hello everyone! I have over 24 years of experience with dogs and cats. I can administer eye droppings to the dogs and any other medications if needed. I would just need to be shown how it is done. I am a stay at home mother. I am home all day long. Unless needing to go to the store. I am available to do boarding for your pups. I can also do drop - ins and house sitting. I am available just about every day of the week. With the drop in visits I will do whatever is needed. Such as potty breaks, feedings and medicine. And of course giving your fur baby some attention and love and excercise if needed.

About: I have been a dog person my whole life. I have 4 dogs At my parents house all of which our German shepherds. I love to exercise so walking is my favorite hobby. I have watch all breeds or dogs as well as multiple different ages. I love to see the look on dogs faces when they get to go for a walk or get extra loving. I will treat your dog like my own baby. My partner works from home in the mornings so our own dog and your are never home alone long. I have a big back yard not fenced but our dog stays close to us. We go outside anytime the dogs do. We love walks and when it’s nice going down to the beach.

About: Hi! My name is Marissa and I am 25 years old. I am an ambitious, adventurous, vivacious individual. I am currently in my second year of college at Mott Community College working toward my Associate's in Psychology, so that I may then transfer to the University of Michigan to achieve my Bachelor's. Once achieving my Bachelor's, I would like to work as a counselor for a few years before going back to school for my Master's so that I may eventually become a bereavement therapist and open a private practice. I am currently a member of the Psychology Society at Mott and I was selected to join the Mott Community College's chapter of The National Society of Leadership and Success. I have been taking care of dogs of various breeds since I was old enough to take care of myself, having owned numerous amounts of dogs for about 20 years. Neighbors, friends, family, and a few Rover clients have relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, and spend time with their pets for the past 5 years -- possibly longer. I am not certified yet, but I intend to take a CPR & First Aid course for dogs as soon as possible -- hopefully, I never have to use it. But it would bring me peace of mind knowing that if there were ever a situation with my dog or someone else's dog, I'd know what to do. I intend to take a pet grooming course as I would be able to offer more grooming services. And lastly, I also intend to take a dog obedience/training course so that I may offer training services as well. Being a full-time student takes up the majority of my time, thus I am looking to start up cleaning, dog walking/dog-sitting, and babysitting/nannying businesses so that I may keep a steady income for the next few years. I am taking all of my classes online and will eventually switch to going on-campus for my classes, but that will most likely be in a few years when I am attending U of M -- which would require me to move out of the Northern Michigan area. As a member of the Psychology Society and the NSLS, I may occasionally need to travel for a couple of days to Flint for an event -- especially considering I may apply for and take on one of the positions in the Psychology Society. With that being said, I would prefer to have a decent amount of time to prepare and set a date on my calendar for any services I will be providing for you. I will also make sure to keep my availability up-to-date. I would also appreciate cancellations to be in advance as well, but I do understand that life happens. In clients' homes, I will take your fur baby/babies to any nearby parks and/or long walks on any trails. I offer grooming services such as bathing, ear cleaning, and hair brushing. I request that if I am in your home, you leave me a list of my responsibilities. I do not mind caring for young puppies that are still in the process of potty training. I just request that you let me know exactly what cleaning supplies you would like me to use to clean up any messes if he/she has an accident -- preferably this won't happen as I will be around and will have the time necessary to avoid accidents inside. Currently, I am not offering boarding or doggy daycare services because my dog does not get along well with other dogs. But I do plan to start offering those services again in the future... I have a decent-sized yard, but it is not fenced in. I have a leash hooked up outside to easily let your dog/dogs out for potty breaks if the weather is too bad for a walk. I have two full baskets filled with toys from bark box to play with and I try to stay stocked up on treats from the Three Dog Bakery! You can bring your treats as well if you give your dog a specific brand of treats. I have no problem with dogs getting on my furniture, but I do also have an extremely comfortable Serta dog bed if you have taught them to stay off of furniture. If your dog is puppy pad trained rather than trained to go potty outside, then I would need you to provide the pads as I do not have any. I am also okay with boarding/dog-sitting a puppy in my home once I am offering those services again as well, even if he/she is still in the process of potty training. I just request that you provide a kennel or crate in case I need to leave my home for anything. I would not leave the puppy attended for longer than an hour and a half.

About: I've taken care of dogs, cats, birds, and all sorts of animals since I was a kid. Once I turned 16, I started housesitting and taking care of others' dogs and cats. In the last couple years I've moved out to a farm with my boyfriend where we take care of lots of different farm animals. There is cats and a dog that live in a different house on the property and all farm animals are fenced in. Your pets can interact or be kept very far away from the farm animals. Living on 200 acres, I have lots of space to accommodate to your needs. I am free everyday except Monday and Wednesday. I am searching for a new job but until then I can do anytime on Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. All farm animals are kept in by fences, but we do not have any fenced in area for dogs. There is lots of yard and trails for leashed walks. If your pet comes when called, I can watch them while they explore the big back yard. Our home is a one bedroom and the cats and dog do not live with us. My boyfriend's parents live on the property and keep them inside there most of the time. It is up to you if you want them to interact with your pets or not.
